He is our Pet of the Week and came to the Connecticut Humane Society from local animal control and was a bit timid at first, but now heâs showing just how much he loves people and pets. Eeyore is looking for a calm home, ideally with kids over 12, where he can take his time to adjust and settle in. While he hasnât had much experience with other pets, he may enjoy having a furry friend. Eeyore does have some special needs, but he has so much love and companionship to offer the right family. As an adult, Leo is already housebroken and even knows a few tricks. While he may be a little shy at first, once he warms up, heâs all about fun, play, and adventure. Leo thrives with other dogs and would love a canine companion, though he hasnât had much experience with cats yet. With his big personality and high energy, Leo will do best with a family who has experience with large breeds and can give him the structure, exercise, and attention he deserves.

With his striking black and brindle coat, Bosley could have a mix of lab, shepherd, or pit bull in him, but what we do know for sure is that heâs 100% adorable.
Bosley came to the Connecticut Humane Society after his previous family could no longer care for him, and now heâs looking for a new start. Heâs a sweet, playful dog who loves to be active. Since heâs still young and growing, Bosley needs a family with adults or teens who can keep up with his energy, continue his training, and give him the exercise and enrichment he thrives on.

Say hello to Indigo, our Connecticut Humane Society Per of the Week! He is a 9-year-old domestic shorthair with striking looks, a sweet personality, and a little extra âfluffâ at 18 pounds.
Indigo is searching for a calm, adult (or older teen) household where he can be the only pet and soak up all the love. Heâs a cuddly companion who enjoys eating, sleeping, and getting attention, though sometimes he gets a bit overstimulated and appreciates a little âme time.â
One of Indigoâs goals for his new home? Shedding a few pounds with the help of a healthier diet and some fun playtime! His new family will not only gain a loving friend but also help him feel his best.
