It's that time of the year where we turn tricks for treats (or however that works.) This is our first holiday themed episode so we wanted to do a movie that is in the vein of Halloween but still made us do a double take with queer content.
We really go in on Mindhunters, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, etc, and pull the thin straight veil off of Nightmare on Elm Street 2 and expose it for what it really is, a gay 80's porn. -
On this lovely episode of Tears for Queers we focus on the indie flick The Rules of Attraction and it coincidentally coincides with the 15 yr anniversary of the film! We didnt even mean to do thattt. Along with the movie, we cover what life was like for them in 2002, 911, the Harvery Weinstein scandal, and so many other things. GET READYYY.

They're baaack! Did you miss them?? After a long hiatus Travis & Grover are back with a very spesh episode, this time instead of doing a typical queer flick the boys broaden their scope to a film that is just generally loved by the gays which they grew up with; the campy, the fun, The Sweetest Thing. In this ep they cover their favorite music acts, the new iphone, Selma Blair's airplane freak out, and so much more. Come on in, the waters fine.

To Wong Foo is an incredibly campy and inspiring film (although it did take a few left turns that gave us whiplash). Travis & Grover dive deep into the themes of this feel good drag classic, ponder their own drag careers, and what their names would be if they took the stage. Come on in, the waters fine.

Welcome to Tears for Queers. In the first episode Travis & Grover breakdown the magic of the little known 90s gay rom-com, The Broken Hearts Club. We are here for the ups and downs that came with living and loving in a 90s kind of world in Los Angeles that all the characters went through, mostly because it happened to Travis & Grover as well.
