This one got really personal and it honestly hurt to discuss. However, I promised an honest, open look at BPD and what it is for me. In this episode I discuss some of my past trauma and how it has shaped things I have done in my life.

In this episode I discuss what a favorite person (FP) is to someone who has BPD. I go over my own experience with an FP and what that looked like for me. I also go off topic a bit to discuss relationships in general, manipulation, abuse and communication. The biggest things I would like listeners to take away from this are that FP's are one of the toughest situations a person w/BPD can face and that despite those difficulties, healthy relationships are absolutely possible!

This episode discusses what emotion regulation is and why it is difficult for people with BPD. I discuss my mental breakdown and what role being unable to regulate my emotions played into that. I also discuss how I previously managed emotions and what lessons I was taught about them growing up versus how I manage them now. There is explicit language in this episode but it's more real and raw than my previous two. As always there is a trigger warning - if any part of the episode becomes too much please stop listening and take care of you!

I also go over my experience with the traits, what a good, medium, and bad day look like for me and how I handle this disorder. Previews on future show topics also included.
