J10 Elder and Deputy High Commissioner, Kevin Davis, continues our short series from the elders. Kicking off our Discipleship series we welcome back Dave Boden, Leader of Grace Foundation and author of ‘Parallel Faith: Walking Alongside Others on Their Journey to Christ.

Rachel Jenkins concludes our Home series with the bedroom. The bedroom is
1) Remove - a place of intimacy where we can take off what the world has put on us, and reset with the Lord
2) Rest - a place where we can ask God to still our thoughts and take rest
3) Re-arm - prepare for the next day re-clothing ourselves in the armour of God. -
Phil Miles continues our 'Home' series with the Bathroom. He explains that a bathroom is a place of both dirtiness and cleanliness. It is a place where we can seek to change from unclean to pure. We should also practically serve one another as Jesus did when he washed the disciples feet.
We are made clean through Jesus' blood, through baptism, in order to take responsibility for keeping ourselves clean and helping others to do so through relationships. -
Dr Will Foster continues our Home series with the study.
He describes the study as a place where we can learn to follow Jesus and follow His ways. A place
1) for thought, focus, growth and development
2) for retreat and contemplation
to enable us to build relationships, be discipled and build disciples. -
Phil Miles continues our 'Home' series with the Dining Room. He explains
1) This is a place to share spiritual food - where is our spiritual food coming from?
2) We share physical food - a place where we can meet the needs of others through hospitality.
What do we need to change to become more physically and spiritually hospitable? -
Su Gill continues our 'Home' series by focusing on the divining room. She teaches us
1) The living room is the heart of the home. Is my heart a place of welcome?
2) We need to guard our hearts, our mouths and our steps to train ourselves to make the right choices as we influence those around us -
We are asked to examine the hallways of our lives. A hallway is a place of welcome and acceptance; as living stones, we are called to welcome people to the kingdom of god wherever we go.
