Need to buy Nano, but don’t know what exchange to use? Binance is one of the largest exchanges in the world, has an easy to use interface and is more or less free from glitches. I have personally always had a great experience and would recommend it. If you want to use Binance and share some love, use my referral link!
Binance Referral link: https://www.binance.com/?ref=10053337 There are two ways for the community to support the Nano network and in turn make it more secure and decentralized. The easiest way is to open/login to your Nano wallet and change your representative to a trusted rep. You can view information about nodes at nanonode.ninja and the Nano Node Monitor (if the owner has it configured). The second and more difficult way to support the network is by setting up a node. Nodes help decentralize the voting that takes place on the Nano chain.

Zack had the title of IOS developer on the Nano team for several months, but his talent and skills covered much more. In this interview you will begin to pick up on why. It becomes obvious that he thinks things through and is slow to speak. He remembers bits of wisdom he picks up along the way and he communicates those nuggets well. While Zack’s primary responsibility was to build an amazing app for Nano users, he was also able to be a front man in many respects. In this interview we talk about his time on Nano, the roller coaster ride that it was, what he learned and what he would do differently. In addition to getting an inside look at what it’s like to work on a core team, he passes out great pieces of advice. (Disclaimer, I forgot to plug in my mic for the first half of this interview, so my sound is crummy, sorry.)

Michael Doyle is the CEO of KPI Gaming and Nano Community project extraordinaire. We are all into cryptocurrency for a couple reasons. First because we know it will make the world a better place. Second, we know when it is to the point of making the world a better place, if we play our cards right, we will make a lot of money. Most of us are probably more strongly motivated by the second. But not Mike. He has seen the way crypto can make people’s lives better and he wants to continue to see that progress. He genuinely wants to make the world a better place and thinks Nano is the perfect vehicle for it. Tune into this episode to get more details about who Mike is, how he put together the Nano sponsor event for KPI Gaming and what kinds of ideas he has for Nano in the future.

Colin LeMahieu is the creator of the cryptocurrency Nano. He agreed to come on and chat for a bit about who he is and why Nano became what it is today. While most of his public appearances to date have focused on the technicals of the chain, this interview provides window into the life of Colin and provides some genuine insight into where he sees Nano (and crypto in general) going. A couple things were clear to me in this interview. First, Colin has the best of intentions and second, he is freaking smart.

Andrew has been following Bitcoin for years, but like many of us started diving into ALTs at the end of 2017. He found Nano, a crypto that was already doing it's main mission well. As an added bonus Nano fit in a niche that had already proved to be something people wanted (through bitcoin), that is a currency coin. He was hooked and in the spirit of Nano, built a secure and dependable wallet in it's simplest form. Tune in to find out more!

The second weekly wrap-up from the Nano team. Today we rambled through musings about Nano KPI, Venezuela, NanoSMS, BitInka, Nanote and the new revamped bug bounty program. In addition Roy and Lee stepped in to give us an update on the current work being done on the protocol level. In the future you may see a community member and may even get a chance to win something!
The recording quality of this video is still pretty low. We have plans to get that kicked up a notch starting next week.

It was awesome to sit down and chat with Jeff Kilroy the creator of Nanote.net, NanoRPG and a vital member of The Nano Center community. Jeff sees a bright future for Nano. Nanner Banter with The Nano Center (S2E2)
Don’t forget to pick up a pod!: nanocast.co/pod
Nanner Banter! An episode where a few guys hang out, drink and talk about all things Nano. In this episode the few guys happen to all play a major role in The Nano Center. The Nano Center is a community driven initiative to spread the word about Nano. The Nano Center has only been around for a few weeks, but it’s taking off like wild-fire. The Nano community has watched our coin decrease in value by a huge percentage over the last few months, but there are still a ton of us that believe in the tech and mission. With this window into The Nano Center you can start to see what our community can do to help Nano succeed. Perhaps even if Bitcoin doesn’t.

Louis joins me to talk about his long history with Nano. Over the past few years, crypto has changed his life as well as lives of those around him in Venezuela. He discovered the Nano faucet over a year ago and was immediately turned on by Nano’s speed. It didn’t take him long to get involved and become an essential part of the Nano community. He has had toke take a step back from community management as of late due to the turmoil in his country. But he assures us he’s not going anywhere. Listen in to hear his story and what he sees for the future of Nano. Next week get ready for some Nanner Banter with the some people from the Nano Center crew.

I have personally always had a great experience and would recommend it. If you want to use Binance and share some love, use my referral link!

There are two ways for the community to support the Nano network and in turn make it more secure and decentralized.
You can learn more about that here: https://bit.ly/2qmEJoq
Or you can just go buy a pod. nanocast.co/pod
Setting up a node can be really easy and is relatively inexpensive. The first thing you will need to host a node is a server. This can be hosted locally or you can buy server space from a third party. I use Digital Ocean and so far have had a great experience. In addition there are lots of guides written with Digital Ocean in mind. Once you have your droplet you can follow this quick and easy guide: https://nanotools.github.io/easy-nano-node/digitalocean.html (If you have any questions about setting up nodes, Reddit and the Discord are great resources).

In this episode me, Andy Johnson (Nano Things) and Wimpz (Trading Discord Mod) grab some booze and sit together to talk about all things Nano. In this episode you can tell we are starting to learn each other’s rhythms as the conversation flows with a healthy dose of wit. Also, since we are operating in three different time-zones, we had the time wrong and Andy had already been drinking for an hour when we started. We had a lot of fun talking about Nano and it’s community. We didn’t always stay on topic, but there are definitely some good bits. We believe in the goal of the Nano core team: that Nano will become a global currency. My biggest take-away from this conversation is, how can we help make that happen.
Nanocast exists to educate people about the crypto-currency Nano. Led by a driven team, this fast, zero-fee and scalable digital currency has quickly inspired thousands to build a robust ecosystem of apps and services. Whether a crypto-enthusiast or a curious bystander, here you will get a glimpse of the exciting developments happening in and around Nano - the currency of the future.

Brainblocks is the most used payment processing service for the cryptocurrency Nano and the the Brainchild of Daniel. Having a crypto-currency that is fast and free is the first step to main-stream adoption for crypto, but next we need a way to use it. Brainblocks and services like it are designed to fill that gap. There are still a lot of obstacles to overcome and Brainblocks hopes to help take them on. The more seamless it is to use Nano, the more people will use it. Brainblocks has many plans to make this happen and Daniel starts to drop some major hints for how to do it in this episode. Tune in to hear what he has to say!

One of Arman’s passions is to create beautiful and intuitive designs. He has used this drive to create viral mobile games in the past and is using it now to create a good-looking and easy-to-use block explorer for the Nano Network. Tune in to learn how the whole project started because Arman wanted to create a gambling site, but slowly morphed into something more beneficial for the community. His Nanode journey, while short has been robust and enabled him to become part of an extremely driven and friendly community. In this conversation, he tells us all about it.

In this episode me, Andy Johnson (Nano Things) and Wimpz (Trading Dicord Mod) grab some beers and sit together to talk about all things Nano. We don’t stay on topic very well and mostly just get to know each other a bit. We share our experiences of getting into crypto and our advice for newcomers. Nano get’s mentioned a couple times, but… so do Iota. This is the first episode of Nanner Banter, possibly a regular fixture on the Nanocast podcast.
