Today’s guest on the show is a young reiner who grew up in Saskatchewan and developed many of her reining skills competing here in Alberta and throughout Western Canada. After graduation Haley France headed off to Texas A&M where she attended university on a NCAA Division I scholarship as a member of the TAMU Equestrian Team. She has now entered the professional world as an assistant trainer at Storybook Ranch under the guidance of head trainer Arno Honstetter of Honstetter Performance Horses. Ron and Dave welcome Wendy Nelson to the podcast! Wendy was born and raised in Alberta before adventuring east to Ontario and then across the pond to Europe. Educated at Olds College and Texas A&M, Wendy has a wealth of knowledge and experience which she draws on when working with her horses and coaching her clients. Wendy eventually returned to Alberta where she setup her business in the Cochrane area. It is clear that Wendy is passionate about her work and she LOVES horses.
