Interesting times, I say interesting times, Trump mafia listeners. Are you still out there? I know I've been gone, but guess what, I'm back and I can't make any promises, but I think it's time to really keep us updated with what "The Don" is doing.
For this episode, I was talking with my producer, Arizona Rick, and here he is sending me text messages, demanding I have to go on air. Demanding. Imagine that. So here we are.
Now usually I would venture to go online for at least two weeks of research and really try and absorb whatTthe Donald has been doing so I can give you my well examined, studied and thoughtful take on what the fuck is going on inside Trump mafia land.
But I can't do it. I won't do it. I will only ingest this demonic soul through news osmosis, which will lead me down a road of giving you my overall philosophical ramblings on how I'm thinking about the presidential race unfolding or the day-to-day Trump rodeo fuck circus.
But the exercise I wanna do with you today is pose a few questions.

Donald Trump is no stranger to fake news and propaganda – after all, he has been using it since his campaign days. But with the ever-evolving world of Artificial Intelligence (AI), it’s possible that the next presidential election could be even more heavily swayed by “fake facts” than ever before.
That’s all we need right now…….
Trump has already shown us that he can use AI in clever ways. He recently made a video utilizing deepfakes technology to create an image of himself standing in front of Mount Rushmore alongside other presidents. It was an impressive feat, but one that could easily be manipulated for nefarious purposes as well.
Trump also has access to a wide variety of data and algorithms that could help him gain insights into potential voting patterns. He could use this data to craft messages that are tailored to certain demographics and regions, giving him a much greater edge in the election process, and his continued quest to become President again, and again, and again……

So here is what I have been thinking, maybe people are happy that Donny T. got indicted like a ham sammy, and maybe you can’t wait to see that mug shot, to see a perp walk outside a Manhattan courthouse, because let’s be honest, it’s all be leading here right?
At first, you want to clap, maybe cry, maybe laugh, maybe yell, but surprisingly my personal thoughts are much more layered, as I feel a sense of doom again, I can’t put my finger on it, but this sense of doom is that for weeks I have been struggling to find inspiration to record again, to write something because if we are honest, prior to the news of the pending indictment it seemed like our buddy was being pushed to the fringes, he was pontificating on Truth Social, talking to crowds in Waco, Texas, I mean Waco, Texas….
NOW, the news cycle, the cable news vultures are back, and boy-oh-boy are they feasting….
Is this possible? is this real? A former President of the United States is indicted for crimes, and his polling numbers are going up!!!
I read in Politico that he has a major lead over DeSantis, and I haven’t heard one Republican come out and clap their hands, give an atta-boy, or simply decide that maybe just maybe this is a good time to pounce, hit Donola when he's down. -
Davey…….you a gangster now, let’s be clear and concise, it is almost likely like our guy Donald J Trump, will most likely face criminal charges on the island of Manhattan, very soon, and indeed the chickens might be coming home to roost, but again let’s not get ahead of ourselves here, cause we are still living in these United States of America, of disorganization, confusion and just plain stupidity….
Imagine this story, there is a guy named Michael Cohen, and Cohen at some point in his life maybe he is a good guy, well intentioned, and on his way up, then he hitches his wagon to Donnie T. for some reason, and he starts to dabble in the dark arts, he figures what the hell, I’m making some scratch, I’m living a good life, maybe at the time he was taking Donnie’s money, he knew what he was doing maybe Mikey Boy was even smarter than Trump, I mean he did go to law school right, he studied, and everyone in NYC knew Don was a dirtball, but again maybe Mikey had a good retainer, and unlike most of his lawyers Trump paid him.
And then the dark arts, well they got fucking darker, and now Mikey found himself in the middle of this dirtball running for President, and guess what he wins, and oh my god, Mikey must be scratching his head cause he knows the gig is up, and the only thing to follow is most likely indictments and jail time, and GUESS WHAT this isn’t a fucking Hollywood political series on Netflix, this is the country we live in, in real time….. -

I am looking for inspiration, and please Trump Mafia listeners send me some mail, tell me what you want me to talk about, tell me what you are interested in because when I look around, Biden, Chinese Spy Balloons, Trump posting high school, pictures of DeSantis, like Tony Soprano it seems morbid as fuck, but hey like they say we gotta press on, we gotta keep fighting, we gotta find some inspiration.
See, I used to like Biden a little bit, but when I look at his son, the laptop, the crack, the business in other parts of the globe, I just get a sense that all these fucks are just corrupt, I looked around at some of them at the State of the Union address, and they all look like gargoyles, just feeing their mouths at the trough of greed, destruction, ego, and they are all playing a fucking game, with the lives of ordinary citizens, with people who are impoverished, disenfranchised, etc.… I was talking to a colleague this week, and the topic of the IRS came up, I can’t express with any more frustration what he told me he just heard... -
Let’s face it, you probably want to know, where is this Special Counsel guy, Jack Smith, is he back from the Hague in the Netherlands, where is he working out of, what could he possibly be doing, and finally, will this Special Counsel do what no one seems to be able to do in any jurisdiction — Indict Donald J. Trump!
In the case of Donnie, don’t we all wish it could happen as quickly as an episode of Law and Order? Wouldn’t that be nice, clean, efficient, end years of bullshit, madness, and sadness that this guy was President?
Tracking various news outlets, it seems as if the media titans are really wondering, what is going on, who is working with Jackie Boy, and are there any clues as to what exactly he is interested in?
Here is what I am finding, after reviewing articles in Slate, the New York Times, and the Washington Post:
His task is two-fold according to reporting in SLATE------
The ongoing investigation involving classified documents and other presidential records found on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property— 26 boxes’ worth—and the investigation into whether any person or entity unlawfully interfered with the transfer of power following the 2020 presidential election.
He also issued about 40 subpoenas in a week’s time for his investigation into the 2020 election certification. Those subpoenas include testimony from Georgia’s Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger — the guy Trump pleaded with to just find 11,780 votes—along with election officials across the country. Trump’s former White House counsel Pat Cipollone and his chief deputy, Patrick Philbin, have already testified before Smith’s grand jury.
If you ask me, as far as I am concerned, this whole classified doc situation, let’s just call it even at this point, I mean Biden has docs at his library, at his home in Delaware, I mean shit as a kid I used to vacation in Rehoboth Beach, where I know Biden has a Summer home, have they found docs there as of yet? -
I told you at the top of the year I wanted to branch out in terms of stories and intel, I am confident I can keep you informed on interesting tidbits that are starting to form across the world, and one area that always keeps my fascination is the work of global intelligence agencies, across our planet.
This week I caught a story written and investigated by William K. Rashbaum, and I am going to butcher this name, Megha Rajagopalan, both NY Times journalist. The headline is very curious:
WITH FBI SEARCH US ESCALATES GLOBAL FIGHT OVER CHINESE POLICE OUTPOSTS.
What I find odd, is first how on earth are Chinese Police functioning on United States soil, what are these outposts that they speak of. Would it be odd, if we had NYPD in China, I think so, but maybe I am just uniformed. -
I swear that I am not an angry guy, I really swear, this morning I even listened to the Dalai Lama on a podcast with Dan Harris, they were talking about the idea we are all one, and trust me, I want to feel like that I really do, I am trying, but....
I can say there is a member of the Republican Party that is not Donnie, that when I see him or I hear him, physically makes me have a visceral reaction of anger, a hatred that is very rare and as of late, I just choose to ignore it, as they say I have been trying to become more Eastern philosophy, more buddhist, but browsing the New York Times, I saw a headline and a picture that I had to read a few times, because I thought it was an ad for a George Orwell novel, and next to it, there he was a picture of Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio.
Was My mind playing Tricks on Me, my brain not registering what I was reading? Divided House Approves G.O.P. Inquiry into Weaponization of Government?
That was the headline of the New York Times, and it was in this moment, I started to become apoplectic. I threw the controller at the TV, and realized finally, the Republicans have decided to look into the weaponization of Government, and Jim Jordan is leading the charge?
But hold up WHAT THE FUCK is the weaponization of government, and why is this flaming asshole excuse of a politician talking about the weaponization of the government when he was one of the dickheads, who sided with this idea that the election was fixed and Stop the Steal.
Now before we move forward, I don’t know what it is about Jordan, but I know he was a wrestler or a wrestling coach, and every fucking time I see that guy he reminds me of that fucking creepy movie that Steve Carrell was in, when he played that weirdo wrestling coach based on E.I. Dupont, and that whole fucking creepy house, and wrestling tights, and if I am being honest, Jim Jordan just looks like the fucking guy who was the house, wrestling, and I can remember some scandal with Jordan when he was a coach at Ohio State University, and a doctor and genitals, and the whole fucking bit.
Not sure if I made that up because I hate the guy, but I think all that actually happened and people in Ohio thought yeah sure WHY NOT VOTE for the guy who looked the other way when a doctor molested some kids, sounds about right. -
It seems like here at Trump mafia headquarters we get a bit of fan mail, and I have to say, I like to give these people a shout out, and admit when I am wrong, or missed something. This week, I got a message from Markus, and it reads:
I have enjoyed your Trump Mafia podcast very much - until the most current episode - Sunset Boulevard.
Now, I understand that not everybody is into classic movies, but labeling Sunset Boulevard “a dumb movie from the 1950’s” is not only ignorant, but it also makes me question the author’s ability to objectively talk about the bigger themes surrounding Trump.
First, Sunset Boulevard is an outstanding and for its time revolutionary movie that’s rightfully and consistently listed among the best American movies of all time by film critics, filmmakers, and historians. The fact that Trump adores it doesn’t mean he values cinematic art, he obviously has no clue what the movie really is about. And THAT is the fascinating part of his obsession with this film.
Yes, the parallels between Norma Desmond and Trump are eerily creepy, but she’s a sad and tragic figure who ends up killing the young screenwriter/admirer she keeps in her house. The movie ends with Norma Desmond being driven to a fake film set so she thinks she’s finally making another movie, while the police are waiting for her on the other end.
Why would Trump admire a psychotic, deranged diva who’s no longer wanted by anyone and who ends up in prison? She’s - based on Trump’s logic - a “big time loser”! I mean, what Trump sees or not sees in this film is telling us more about his deranged narcissistic psyche than all his Tweets, rambling speeches, and embarrassing interviews. - I’d say, neither the New York Magazine article nor the Washington Post piece have been able to truly unravel this mystery.

Well Markus, Well said, brilliant analogy and terrific examination of how the mainstream media missed the talking points on the film, I am not old Hollywood film buff, but man o man you nailed it brother, I missed that nuance, so with that I humbly thank you.
I guess Markus brings up a good point and something I like to examine here on the podcast, and that is the many insane at times think pieces of mainstream journalism that covers politics. Who has the time to parse thru so much information, and who should we all be listening to. At times I listen to the Joe Rogan podcast, and Rogan said something last week that I appreciate, to watch or read the news these days, a lot of these platforms lack the ability to just have a normal common sense conversation, or a conversation you would have sitting around someone’s living room, let’s be honest if Rachel Maddow showed up at your party and she talked like she did on air, you would think she was mental, RIGHT?
I am in constant motion and searching for ideas and articles that are driving our conversations, or hidden gems that I can talk about here or give my own humble analysis, and with that is a full ingestion of what is becoming a fractured news and media business. Most of the younger generation are more apt to gravitate towards social media , get their news from Instagram or Tik Tok, or Twitter, I would hope the Trump mafia is a more sophisticated bunch, who actually seek out good info, or original info, or information that challenges the status quo.
With this latest batch of mail, from listeners, I also know that I must keep sharp, and the Trump story, well let’s be honest for the last few months, it has been moments of immense starting news leaks, balanced out with this idea that the Trump Train maybe is losing steam or gas. But I keep staying in somewhere in the middle, because what we have ALL done collectively over the course of the last few years, is underestimate the power of a CARNIVAL BARKER to capture the attention of the majority of America, we ALL should be shaking our heads that WE STILL Can have these conversations about Trump, and the narrative continues. I get a sense, yet again right now is the calm before the storm, a QUIET period before sheer LUNACY grips our political spectrum, but with that in mind, let me run down some of the media and political trends I am seeing, feeling or hearing as we start the year, as I feel like this week was the FIRST REAL Week where PEOPLE are really starting to get comfortable in 2023, let the madness begin. -
Alright, fine, I know I have been away. I’m sorry, I’m sorry what do you want from me huh, it’s not easy tracking this piece of shit for years now, it has been a drain on my soul, it has been a drain on my fucking brain.
But, first order of business is some fan mail from Jeff Cane, an Englishman in LA. I agree with you, Cousin Andy and Mr. Schmatta, those guys they are lost man, they sit in their own enclaves and bubble of Trump martyrdom, and they continue to have diarrhea of the mouth and isn’t that the point. I wanted to run that without commentary, without interruption because sadly enough Jeffrey there is a large percentage of American’s out there that are lost, just simply adrift in a political boat up river, a Heart of Darkness Journey for lack of a better term, so again Jeff, I promise, if Cousin Andy ever appears again on Trump Mafia, he will be grilled for his faulty beliefs, for his views that remind me of the people that drank the Kool aid in Jonestown, or the fellas who took the potion who were wearing velour jumpsuits and Nike Cortez waiting for some alien space ship that never arrived. I can’t say we do top notch journalism here at the Mafia, but I agree that maybe I should have held Cousin Andy’s feet to the fire, but isn’t it much better to just let the craziness roll?
I think in my vacation, it has been a little quiet, a little depressed and from what I have been reading, there seems to be a lot of journalistic think pieces on Donnie that basically remind me of the kind of journalism that is written when an athlete who is supposed to retire, plays that extra season, steps into that ring one more time, or makes that comeback run wearing number 45 like Jordan when he played for the Washington Wizards, you remember that don’t you?
But let’s hold up a bit here and really talk about this, if Donnie is on the ropes, if Donnie is in this depressing vortex, or if New Year’s Eve at Mar a Lago was piss in my chowder boring, then maybe this is the end, maybe just maybe this is it??
I mean I literally saw a headline about New Year’s Eve at Mar-A-Lago being depressing, come on journalists we can do better than that, I am sure the fucking conservative, plastic surgery Dinosaur set at the resort were fine with their expensive champagne and Beef Wellington, let’s not get crazy here. -
I want to apologize to the listeners, when I look around , I am not inspired, I can’t find the motivation or the wherewithal to dive into the nuances of our American political system because as far as I see it, as a country currently, the bottom line no matter how you swing it, is stupidity reigns, greed reigns, idiots reign, and HATE reigns.
What is the deal with all this hate, antisemitism, racism, classicism, every hate imaginable it fills our airwaves, and our screens. Why do I have to read about the hate speech of Kanye, or Nick Fuentes, or that fucking excuse of a human being hanging out with Kanye Milo Yiannopoulos, or whatever the fuck his name is, I thought that dick head went back to the rock he crawled out of. SO fuck Kanye, Fuck Trump, Fuck McConnell, fuck Herschel Walker, fuck the right wing Oath Keepers, and fuck EVERYONE who utters words of hate, or racism, or antisemitism, go fucking get a job, have a Budweiser and like they say in Chicago GET FUCKED, ….as you can see for some reason my Apple News feed, my TV, I keep seeing the lowest common denominator shine through, and you know what I guess we deserve it, we earned it. -

Red Wave, Blue Wave, it seems these days when you look at this political menagerie what is there really to get excited about, but here are my personal musings and takeaways, do with it what you will, and don’t hold my feet to the fire right now, as I know some results are still trickling in, so I reserve the right as they say in legal circles to change my opinion and my observations.
Well, first thing is that it appears as if Donnie "T" is very upset, I think the word is LIVID from what I can tell and what early reporting is indicating.
But I am not sure WHY, the narrative I feel that exists right now is that there was NO RED WAVE, but at the end of the day, it looks like Republicans will control the House, and probably the Senate, so how the fuck is that good news?
Under the circumstances I just feel that adds to a more divided country and more fuckery from the Republican power base, again this is still up in the air, but I don’t know how the Democrats are happy. I want whatever the fuck they're smoking. -
Midterm Mayhem, is what you can call it, and I guess as we all go about our days and nights we probably have more important things to worry about, maybe you got hemorrhoids, or you have to host Aunt Karen for Thanksgiving, or even worse you have to get on an airplane on the day before Thanksgiving and try and survive the 1,000 deadly cuts that is American air travel, BUT I’m here for you because we should talk a little bit about the mid-terms, and for you young TikTok twerps I am not talking about your college exams, pay attention.
Why do I care, why should you care, I don’t fucking know, but I have a feeling call it a gut instinct that if the mid-terms go a certain way, as a country we might embark on a new frontier of overwhelming ass backward political shenanigans that make the Trump presidency look like a time of tranquility.
So, if you haven’t been paying attention let me give you a quick explainer, and keep in mind, I am not sure that I even like politics but at a certain point I can’t sit on my hands. Early intel and polls are showing a few things, let me give you the rundown:
The midterms are November 8th for those of you who have been living in a fucking hole, A CNN poll shows that voters are now more inclined to vote Republican than Democrat, despite earlier predictions that showed the opposite, let’s take the polling stuff with a grain of salt, remember no polls predicated good old Donnie Boy. -
I have spent a lot of time in my life investigating criminals, drug kingpins, arms dealers, killers, shooters, mafia hit men, you name it I’ve sat face to face with em, so I know crime, I know gangsters, and I know the underworld.
As of late as I look at the geo-political landscape, and the globalization of crime and business, I can only shake my head.
Recently I did a film about a crew of kids in New York City named the Supreme Team, they were major narcotics traffickers who fed New York City with crack cocaine, and now the two leaders find themselves in jail for life, which I find on the surface to not be quite fair.
My calculation is based on the level of criminality that now takes place in politics and actually has an effect on our lives, which is staggering.
That is why recently when I read an article in Vanity Fair, I got angry, I couldn’t believe what I was reading, Jared Kushner, was given $2 Billion Dollars from Saudi Arabia’s sovereign Wealth Fund. - Show more
