Golf turned into a courtroom this week. After Bob Does Sports' Joey Coldcut got accused of lifting an embedded ball (and threw a fit on camera), we spent the whole episode building rules to stop "sus" activity in our own league: declare your ball, mark your opponent's ball ("the Cowboy Rule"), and a "call sus" penalty where a wrong accusation costs YOU a stroke. It got personal — James swears he has Jeff on video moving his ball, and Jeff admits he fluffs his lie. (The league's already caught a marked-ball cheat and a guy with 15 clubs — which is why we count every bag now.)
Plus: a Bittersweet recap (James 88 back from a 116; Jeff earns the nickname "TDJ — Triple Digit Jeff"), the tightest leaderboard race we've had now that there's a cut line, and Wyndham Clark winning his 2nd major — which started a real fight about whether golf should finally let fans heckle.
Comment or DM: how does YOUR league stop the cheaters — and should "I found it!" guy have to show you the ball?

We teamed up for Brother vs Brother, and it fell apart: James shot 116 — twelve drops, nine lost balls on the back nine, zero pars — two days after we both shot our best rounds of the year (83 and 84 walking the tips). Now we're on the longest losing streak of our careers, and we spent hole 10 arguing about who's the worst teammate.
Then the hard truth: a kid three years into golf is beating us, and we've played fifteen — it's "internet poker for golf," where the kids study launch-monitor data, and we just guessed by ball flight. Plus pros throwing clubs (one got a two-stroke penalty), Wyndham Clark leading Shinnecock, Sun's "1995 Nike 5-wood" eagle to win at Prairie Landing, and a Simmies update (the lease is dragging and Jeff may have found a better spot).
Comment or DM: how do you shoot 116 — and whose fault was it? You be the judge.

Brother vs Brother is still unsettled — Jeff says the Bridges of Poplar round "doesn't count" because James switched the venue with no notice, and we never got a verdict. So you decide: counts = Jeff's 0-2, doesn't = 0-1. New twist for Game 3 — Jeff calls James with one hour's notice, names the course, and James can't say no. James says he'll sweep it 4-0 and still give Jeff a game. Game 3's teased for Father's Day.
Up top: Nelly won her 4th major, and Jeff cashed a 22% longshot on her, which leads into why you putt everything out and the dirtiest move in golf (handing your opponent 7-foot "gimmes" to tilt him). Plus Path to Par's new 22-handicap tee rule at Prairie Landing, the spicy cut line, the custom-club rabbit hole (and a putter-painting class at Simmies), and a Simmies update — 6 extra-wide bays, GS Pro, lease almost done, booking app finished.
Comment or DM: Jeff lost, he says it doesn't count. Does it? You're the judge.

Brother vs Brother Round 2 took place at Bridges of Poplar; Jeff lost again — and now he says it "doesn't count" because James switched the venue with two hours' notice. James says Jeff asked if it counts, agreed, recorded the whole thing, then backpedaled after getting spanked. So we're letting you decide: counts = Jeff's 0-2, doesn't = 0-1, and we replay at Mount Prospect.
Plus a Path to Par mid-season report card: the cut line is a hit, people are panicking, and we're fighting over whether 21, 23, or 25 handicaps should move up a tee box. And up top: the U.S. Women's Open at Riviera, Michelle Wie's 300-yard bomb out of retirement, and her pitch to play men's and women's majors on the same courses the same week.
We close on Simmies — out of attorney review, lease almost read, and why the simulator data is the part we can't wait for.
Comment or DM: we played, Jeff lost, he says it doesn't count. Does it? You're the judge.

Our first-ever Path to Par major became the "Squawk at the T-Hawk." Tom won the Members Open at Thunderhawk by playing the senior tees as a single-digit handicap. Legal, but is it a championship or an asterisk? The brothers fight over tiered tee boxes versus a single standard tee for everyone.
Then the receipts: Brother vs Brother Round 1 finally happened at Highlands of Elgin, and Jeff — who picked the course to break James — shot 101 and lost. The league now calls him "Triple Digit Jeff," and the Shin Bros are no longer undefeated. The 9-month 2v2 streak is dead too, killed by new rivals Kawwboy & Mr. Wick at Sunset Valley.
Plus: putting with a glove on, Full Swing on Netflix, the new cut line, and a quick Simmies lease update.
Comment or DM: A single digit won the major from the senior tees. Within the rules — but is it cheating?
-
Brother vs Brother Round 1 is happening on camera Sunday at Highlands of Elgin — and Jeff picked the course on purpose because James plays well there. The whole plan is to beat him on his home turf and break him for Round 2. GoPros mounted, stroke play, same tee box.
Before the reveal, the brothers fight about the PGA Championship winner showing up in iron covers AND two gloves, a $288 bet that turned into tens of thousands, whether Bryson is about to quit for YouTube, Bill Ackman's AI rule for starting a business, Simmies getting the keys handed over June 1, the first Path to Par major in 8 days, and $90 buckets of balls at Des Plaines.
Comment or DM: Who you got Sunday at Highlands of Elgin — Jeff or James?
-
The brothers finally drop the name of the indoor golf sim business — SIMMIES — and the landlord agreed to their terms on Location 1 in Carol Stream. Six bays. 24/7. Lease being drafted.
Before the reveal, James locks Jeff into Brother vs Brother Round 1 next Wednesday at Mount Prospect with a $200 dinner on the line, McLaren is now selling $4,000 golf irons, Jon Rahm hit a volunteer with a divot sandwich, the first Path to Par major heads to Thunderhawk with a crystal trophy idea, and Harry is talking trash again.
Comment or DM: who do you have in Bro v Bro Round 1 — Jeff or James?

$80 to WALK a course in Chicago? Jeff and James open EP26 with a real rant on amateur golf pricing — Mt Prospect, Chevy Chase, Seven Bridges — and ask, "When did this get this expensive?"
Inside the episode: Jeff shot 95 at Seven Bridges and walks through how a guy named Tom went minus-five on the front, then blew up the back with two ill-advised 3-wood decisions. James played Chevy Chase from the tips in 30 mph wind, holed out for eagle on 18 — and didn't even feel excited about it.
Plus the Kirkland golf ball verdict, the 85% handicap allowance debate ("people are mentally weak"), an unresolved tie-for-first league problem they want the audience to solve, and an August timeline reveal for the indoor golf simulator business.
Leave a review and tell us — what's the most you've paid to walk a course this year?
-
Jeff finally admits on camera that he's been letting James win for years — then the brothers lock in a 7-game Brother vs Brother series, first to 4 wins, gross stroke play, course picks week-of.
Before that, James is tied for first in the Path to Par league for the second event in a row. The brothers argue Old Oak's pin placements were illegal, Nelly Korda dominates the Chevron, Charlie Hull says pros should only play blades, LIV Golf's gravy train runs out, and the indoor golf simulator business gets a real update — lease is almost signed.
Leave a review and tell us who you've got in the Bro vs Bro series.
-
Jeff and James finally reveal the golf project they have been working on: an indoor golf simulator business with multiple bays, 24/7 access, and extensive AI support behind the scenes.
The episode starts with James having to admit Jeff beat him straight up, then moves into LIV Golf's future, Chicago handicap friction, Golf Genius, and the great golf cart vs. walking debate.
Leave a review and share your best ideas for the golf simulator business with the brothers.

Jeff played two rounds this weekend and both were a disaster. Not his game (okay, also his game) but the people around him. Six guys showed up to one tee time at White Pines. Speakers blasting. Groups skipping holes on a packed Saturday. A five and a half hour round. COVID golfers are out of control and we are not holding back.
We also react to Rory McIlroy winning back-to-back Masters titles, Sergio Garcia snapping his driver on a cooler at Augusta, and Brooks Koepka accidentally playing with his driver in the wrong hosel setting for an entire round.
Path to Par Season 10 kicks off this Saturday. Jeff and James make predictions, name favorites, call out the new members who do not know the rules yet, and make a bet for the first event. The trash talk is already at peak levels.

Is golf etiquette actually dead? Jeff and James break down the wildest stories from public courses this season — from solos blasting music on the tee box to balls flying at you before you're off the green. Plus: Tiger Woods gets arrested, Phil Mickelson pulls out, and the Masters is missing both legends for the first time since 1994.
Jeff also doubles down on his standing 4v4 challenge to every golfer crew in Chicago, calls out the "Gorilla Golfer" from the comments, and pitches Nongshim as a sponsor. James says he's never changing his putter. The brothers debate when you should actually buy new clubs, and Jeff admits he might have fallen for the ZT putter hype.
Path to Par Season 10 is launching soon — Chevy Chase is the first stop. No cut line for the playoffs this year.

Jeff was at Augusta National for the Par 3 Contest last April. First time telling the full story on the show — the 3:30am departure, nearly falling asleep watching the Par 3 Contest, the food, the merch, and what it was like to walk that course in person.
Then: YouTube golf announced a league and didn't invite us. Path to Par has been running one for ten seasons. We have thoughts — and the 4v4 challenge is officially open. Plus a viral bunker video sets off a debate about when amateurs are actually supposed to play by the rules.

The Masters is three weeks away and Jeff and James are making their picks — including a $25 YOLO on Tiger Woods at +25,000 odds. Bryson DeChambeau just won back-to-back LIV events and James wants a LIV player to win Augusta just to make a point.
Then the hosts get into the golf ball debate that never ends:are amateurs playing the wrong ball? Jeff argues consistency matters at any level. James says if you’re still losing a dozen a round, just buy the cheap ones. Both have a point.
Season 10 of Path to Par Golf Club is officially kicking off.The boys share bold predictions on who wins the league, who the dark horse is, and whether the handicap allowance changes will finally stop the high-cap winners streak.

We hit the Chicago Golf Expo and had thoughts. Some good, some bad, and one of us walked away with a free round of golf at Sol Tan Run and Buffalo Trace in Indiana. First raffle win of his life.
We break down Akshay Bhatia's comeback win at the Arnold Palmer down five shots on Sunday, Jon Rahm's LIV win, and what world rankings actually mean now, and why calling The Players a fifth major is a bad idea. We close with three hot takes: play Augusta once with your boys or hold a lifetime Masters badge, six hour round vs. two hour twilight solo, and whether the PGA should be handing sponsor exemptions to influencers over grinders who earned it.

Shane Lowry had a 3-shot lead with 3 holes left at PGA National and gave the tournament away with back-to-back water balls — and Jeff had money on him. Jeff and James break down the mental game collapse, what it feels like to protect a lead and fail, and how every amateur has a version of this story.
Back in Chicago, the brothers hit the indoor simulator to get Path to Par GC Season 10-ready. The data does not lie — one swing cooperated and one absolutely did not. They debate whether simulator reps actually translate to real golf, and whether the launch monitor is the best investment a serious amateur can make.
Jeff breaks down his live Kalshi picks for the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill — Patrick Reed on the DP Tour, Si Woo Kim as a buy-low flip — and explains the penny-to-fifteen-cents strategy that is actually working.
LIV Golf is back in Hong Kong. Jeff and James discuss why Anthony Kim is not just a feel-good comeback story — LIV is deliberately building their brand around him, and it might be working.
To close it out, the guys go rapid fire on pace of play. Five-hour rounds, golf cart timers, music on the course, and whether the league needs an official policy.

A stolen putter, a 16-year comeback, and 8 guys playing golf in February in Chicago. Collin Morikawa won Pebble Beach with a putter he borrowed from a friend. Anthony Kim came back after 16 years and beat Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau at LIV Adelaide. Then we played our first round of 2026, and the scores tell the whole story. Plus: Chicago's $50 million Megalodome indoor golf course, golf etiquette debates, and the 75% handicap experiment heading into Season 10 of Path to Par Golf Club.

EP 14 of Two Off the Tee. James takes the hosting chair as the brothers break down the WM Phoenix Open chaos. First up: streamer Jack Doherty gets a lifetime PGA Tour ban after paying a fan $100 to scream during Mackenzie Hughes' backswing. Is the ban too harsh or exactly right? Then the real story — Hideki Matsuyama's heartbreaking playoff loss after a chair drop disrupted his swing on 18, handing Chris Gotterup the win.
From there, the episode shifts to Path to Par Golf Club, the brothers' competitive amateur golf league entering its 10th season in Chicago. The league is getting a new name, a new cutline, and a new fight: James wants match play brackets for the playoffs. Jeff wants to keep traditional stroke play. Neither one backs down.
At the turn: do you putt with a line or without? James shares why he ditched the line years ago, Jeff confesses his no-look putting experiment, and both admit that PGA 2K video games actually improved their real-world putting.
The back nine covers golf pet peeves — from people stealing your ball on the course to flagstick etiquette to the friend who's always late to tee times.

Episode 13 is the turning point.
We stop pretending this is just a casual golf league and start treating it like a real club. Handicap reductions, sandbagging, attendance issues — and the biggest change of all: only the Top 12 make the playoffs.
Sung Kim joins as the unelected chairman and makes the case that flips the room. By the end of the episode, participation trophies are dead, and competition is back.
We also lock in a Shin vs Kim family 2v2, no handicaps, pride on the line.
If you care about fairness, competition, and actually earning a playoff spot — this is the episode.

In this episode, James takes the host chair and puts Jeff on the spot. We break down how we actually got into golf, why perfection drives us insane, and how handicaps might be breaking amateur competition.
We dive deep into:
Why high handicaps keep winning leagues
Whether match play is better than stroke play for amateurs
The controversial “exceptional score” handicap rule
Incentives (or lack of them) to actually improve at golf
LIV vs PGA politics, suspensions, and favoritism
Why simulator golf and TGL aren’t landing with fans
Should women compete with men in simulator golf?
This episode is part golf therapy session, part league commissioner debate, and part reality check for amateur golfers who say they want fairness — until the rules change.
