Tendinitis and carpal tunnel are very serious injuries for editors and can become a nightmare. I personally developed a tendonosis (Lateral Epicondylalgia) from editing and climbing. In this episode of Video Editing Systems I share what caused the injury, measures you can take to avoid elbow, wrist or shoulder pain while editing, and how I recovered from my tennis elbow. If you’re looking to continue to work at the computer and sustain a routine this episode is the one to listen to. Here’s a link to a video explaining what Lateral Epicondylalgia is and how to test to see if you have it. https://youtu.be/gf4dcg2i2HU?si=zDu0VhcrWPY_AfXFIf you have any kind of injury from working at a desk (or anything else) reach out! Even if it’s just for emotional support. I know how much these injuries can suck!www.devondennisstudios.comwww.instagram.com/devondennisstudios

When I first thought about making a video editing podcast with comedy producer and best friend Brian T Licata, I immediately thought about discussing AI because we learned a lot about AI together. We ended up talking about everything but AI. Brian hosts several comedy podcasts. We discussed much of what we learned by working together about the video industry, freelancing business tactics and productive workflows. Brian is much more experienced than I am with podcasts. I learned so much in this episode and I can’t wait to have him on again.Follow Brian:Yo Dom - https://www.youtube.com/@YoDomRated G - https://www.youtube.com/@UCTvgYOddOU0AvbgjSFfbiMQ Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/brianthevideoguy/https://www.briantlicata.com/Let's create together!www.devondennisstudios.comFollow me on IG!www.instagram.com/devondennisstudios

When I first met Jonathan I helped to film and by the end of the day he had instilled confidence in me to go film a wedding on my own the following weekend. Aside from filming weddings Jonathan makes music, climbs, snowboards and is a Kendama fanatic. We discuss all of these hobbies/obsessions and much more.
