We're heading to Cooloolabin QLD as Emma joins us to share her amazing yowie experiences. When she moved into her current place, she felt the dooligarl presence straight away. Emma set out to made friends with them, and I think you'll agree she did a fantastic job. From chittering, hooting, whistling and running around her home to red eyes and an intense energy wave that hit her in the chest, Emma's dooligarl experiences are remarkable. Emma also shares a fascinating idea she had as to why dooligarls seem to like gifting marbles.

I’ve got a fantastic show lined up for you today, my friends. Nick joins us to share some seriously freaky experiences he had in the Macedon and Wombat State Forest areas. One night, Nick and a friend snuck out and saw what they could only describe as a werewolf. Yes, a werewolf! Or was it a dogman? You can decide that for yourselves. Nick also had a few other seriously scary experiences that he's going to share with you today. Ready? Good! Let's get into it!

Today's episode is a real treat! We're joined by Jason Lord, a proud Arrernte man from central Australia. Boxing saved him from a difficult path when he was a child and set him on a course to become a champion and mentor for at-risk youth. He became an Australian boxing champion in his youth, and he now changes lives for the better with the boxing program he runs for young people and for people about to be released from prison. Jason’s gifts go beyond the physical — he sees into the world beyond the veil, and today he’s sharing some of his most spine-tingling stories, from a yowie sighting to haunted highways, portals, black magic, and ancient indigenous lore.

I’ve got a very special show for you today and I'm so excited to share it with you! Six years ago, almost to the day, I did an interview that went on to become one of the best-known, if not the best known, yowie sighting of all time. Yes, I’m talking about Hickeys Falls. It’s the one story that people always bring up to me when they mention their favourite yowie sightings. Many people have also told me that it was this story that made them believers in the existence of yowies. Many people were moved by not just the sincerity of the witness but also the residual fear clearly audible in her voice ten years after the event. With all of that in mind and with the sixth anniversary at the end of this month, I thought I’d reach out to the Hickeys Falls witness and see if she was up for a catch up chat. And thankfully, she was. So, today Yowie Central proudly presents the re-mastered original interview with the hour-long catch up chat I had with the courageous and articulate Hickeys Falls witness. For those not familiar with Hickeys Falls, it’s located in NSW at the southern end of the notoriously spooky Pilliga State Forest. It’s a small but stunningly beautiful waterfall surrounded by cliffs that form a natural amphitheatre, located just off the Newell Hwy. There’s a rest stop there, where you can park or stay the night or have a picnic and swim in the waterholes at the bottom of the falls. If you dare...

We’re leaning into the kooky and spooky today as we head to the tiny township of William Creek SA, population about 20, in an area the local first nations people call Arabana country. It’s gibber plain around there – red soil, arid, desert landscapes covered in a layer of pebbles and rocks. Pete, originally from Alice Springs, took a job working at the local pub about three years ago. He had his first day off coming up, so asked a local elder where to go for a nice walk. The elder suggested a local water hole, so Pete took off for the waterhole the next day. Unfortunately, Pete got a bit lost, and what happened next was very strange, to say the least. We'll let him tell you the story.

You're going to love today's show! I had a wide‑ranging chat with Kevin and Phoebe, and they share several years’ worth of remarkable experiences from Lower Wonga, Wolvi and Dalby in QLD, and Yowrie in NSW. We’re talking yowie sightings, dogman, big‑cats, spirits, eyeshine, mindspeak, tracks, greasy handprints and footprints, infrasound, portals… even their horse was attacked by a panther! Kevin and Phoebe have so much to share with you. To quote Kevin, “As I spun around, in the beam of the torch about 30 feet from me was this huge, ginger yowie!” And that’s just one moment in a long list of experiences...

I’ve got an absolute ripper for you today! My guest is one of my favourite humans—Bigfoot Michigan Rob, host of Brunch with BMR and Bigfoot Michigan Rob and Beyond.
Rob’s one of those people who’s been seeing beyond the veil since he was a kid. In this chat he shares some of his wildest experiences—plus stories his listeners have trusted him with.
We get into his terrifying Bigfoot sighting—and the tragic events that followed. His weird stickman sighting. Dogman and shadow people. Creepy small towns and the secrets they keep. And then there’s the Vegas story… honestly, it’s one of the trippiest things I’ve ever heard—Rob thinks he may have bilocated and ended up in Vegas playing poker with the Devil! We also talk about the recent film about the Patterson–Gimlin footage.
Quick heads up—there are a couple of F‑bombs in this episode, so if little ears are around, maybe save it for later.
You can buy Rob's books True Cryptid Encounters Books 1-3 on Amazon.

Our guest today joins us from Weipa in Far North Queensland, right on the tip of Cape York—about as far north as you can get on the mainland. In August 2021, while hunting on the edge of a swamp, Tim spotted an orange, hairy, bipedal being with a conical-shaped head. He got a clear look in daylight (a rare occurrence with yowie sightings) and what he saw has stayed with him. After the sighting, Tim spoke with local Original Australian elders, who shared their knowledge of the hairy man. Tim will also be telling us about a UFO sighting in Werribee VIC and a black panther encounter in Mirboo North VIC.

Join us as we welcome Jake Cassar—survival and bushcraft teacher, conservationist, and author of a novel called The Cave, which tells the story of a young man ambushed and taken captive by yowies. Jake is also one of the witnesses of Old Fire Hands, an infamous yowie active in the Woy Woy and Kariong area of New South Wales. Today, he’s going to share what happened when he saw Old Fire Hands on a camping trip for his 17th birthday, along with some bushcraft wisdom and insights into his new book.

Today we’re heading to Queensland, to the infamous Bellbird Grove, a nature reserve tucked away in the southern section of D’Aguilar National Park, just 16 kilometres from Brisbane’s city centre. This is a place rich in biodiversity, ancient forest, and...something else entirely. Back in 2020, one of my earliest witness interviews took place right here, involving a man who had a terrifying experience with a juvenile dooligarl and its parent. Fast‑forward to August 2023, and today’s guest, Mark, returns to Bellbird Grove—this time with his daughter. What they heard, what they saw, and what revealed itself in the sunlight is fascinating and deeply familiar to many other witnesses and yowie enthusiasts.

Today we’re staying right here in my home state of Victoria, and we’ve got some seriously chilling yowie encounters to share. While these weren’t full visual sightings, I think once you hear them, you’ll agree they have all the hallmarks of yowie activity. Celeste and Lach join me to talk about their encounters from 2024 in Koorool and 2025 near Lake Tyers. Lach also shares a chilling experience from his childhood near Licola. These stories tick a lot of familiar boxes.

It’s our first show of the year—happy new year, everyone! And what a show we have for you; Mike Paterson from Sasquatch Ontario is here, bringing jaw-dropping stories of his encounters with the Sasquatch people, including one remarkable Sasquatch family. Mike’s been deep in Sasquatch research since 2008, and his ongoing contact since 2012 has completely changed his view of reality. He describes Sasquatch as interdimensional ancient humans, reaching out to us and expanding our understanding of the universe, and I’d have to agree whole heartedly with him.
Together with his research partner, Dwayne, Mike has experienced everything from hours and hours of Sasquatch vocalisations—especially from a Sasquatch named Neph—to footprints appearing in the snow in real time, marbles materialising out of thin air, physical contact, and even written communication. Today, we’ll dive into all of that, plus the photos Dwayne snapped of Neph, mysterious orbs and the Sasquatch-UFO connection, CE5, dogman, and so much more. So, buckle up—this episode is going to blow your mind!

It’s the final show of the year, and what a year it’s been! We’ve had mind-boggling interviews, fascinating information, and a growing sense of awe for our bush friends and the real world around us. Our guest today hails from Bundaberg in QLD. Terry is a kind-hearted soul and a natural born, gifted medium, but didn’t explore that side of himself until much later in life. We had a wide-ranging conversation, and he shares how he realised he had to utilize his gifts, he tells us about the dooligarls that visit him on his property and their messages to us, his interactions with spirits and entities both good and bad, to what to do when there’s a negative spirit around, why not to fear death, black panthers and so much more!

Now, buckle up, because today’s episode is absolutely epic! We’re kicking things off with a cool yowie sighting from way back in 1989, deep in the Wombat State Forest in Victoria. But that’s just the beginning! Next, we’re heading up to the Daintree in Far North Queensland, where our guest Tony managed a cattle farm right on the edge of the national park. What Tony and his family went through over three years is nothing short of extraordinary—think escalating dooligarl and paranormal activity, the kind of saga that brings to mind the infamous Skinwalker Ranch in the United States. Tony, his wife, and their four young kids lived peacefully for the first eight months. But after devastating floods in 2019, the property owner decided to turn the place into an eco-tourism spot, and Tony was tasked with building the first glamping site. That’s when things got, in Tony’s words, ‘insane’—and just kept getting weirder. We’re talking dooligarls, junjadees, dogman, mysterious orbs, invisible beings, and even a bizarre purple humanoid that absolutely terrified Tony’s wife. And to add another layer, the property itself has a dark past—the original Kuku Yulanji people were killed and displaced from what was their home. Whether that history played a part in what happened, who can say? But what unfolded was a mind-boggling series of strange, spooky, and sometimes downright terrifying encounters.

I’m thrilled to bring you today’s conversation. We’re heading to South Australia—a state that doesn’t get as many yowie reports as other states in Australia, which is why I was so excited to hear from Tosh. Tosh has yowies visiting her property and has always felt a connection to other beings. She sees, feels, and hears spirits and other entities, and she’s one of those special people with a big heart and a passion for helping others, including helping spirits pass over. She’s going to share her yowie experiences with us today, plus a whole lot of kooky and spooky stuff.

Yaama everyone! We’re delighted to welcome back two respected Original Australian elders to the show: Uncle Donny, a Gamilaroi-Anaiwan elder, and Aunty Luna, a Wiradjuri-Gamilaroi elder. “Yaama” means hello in their language. Today, Uncle Donny and Aunty Luna will share their rich cultural knowledge and personal stories. We’ll explore fascinating topics such as the Min Min lights (mysterious orbs seen in the outback), the Hairyman, Bunyips (cryptid creatures from Australian waterways), and “The Others.” We’ll also discuss the natural technologies of the old ways, as well as stories about ETs and UFOs—and much more! We invite you to listen with curiosity and respect as we learn from their wisdom and experiences.

I have a truly remarkable interview for you today, my friends. It’s one of the most mind-blowing yowie interviews I’ve done. My guest, Jeff, was a hunter and spent a lot of time in the bush in his youth. He, incredibly, survived being accidentally shot in the face when he was 18, which smashed his jaw and mouth to smithereens. He’s also had three yowie sightings and several yowie encounters over the years, the first sighting when he was about 15 in the bush near Cohuna VIC in 1983, and then another in 1984 - a rare sighting of a family group of three yowies, in the bush near Mathoura NSW on the banks of the Edward river. Later that night, not long after he saw the family group, he had an experience so terrifying, he wet his pants in panic. Out collecting firewood in the dark, he was tripped and flung upwards, landed on his face and then had an enormous being lean over the back of his neck and sniff him, so close he not only heard it, he felt it. He thought he was about to be eaten. I'm so excited to bring this one to you. It's an absolute ripper.
