"Season Quest" is a comedy/fantasy podcast starring four graduates of the New Zealand School of Film and Television who now make an audio-only actual-play TTRPG podcast.
The first four seasons were set within the Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) roleplaying game. Each season of the show featured a different Dungeon Master (DM) and thematically matched up with one of the four seasons: WINTER, SPRING, SUMMER, and AUTUMN.
The fifth season was titled ANTHOLOGY and would feature shorter campaigns with a variety of guest stars and different TTRPG systems.
Following season 5 the crew have moved on to television genres as the themes for their seasons. These have included HAUNT, and 3 more to come.
This show was created by Lucy Jones on behalf of SPLITelevision Productions and features her alongside Charlie Leeming, Tom Collins and Troy J Malcolm.
There will be 12 episodes in each season, and they'll be released weekly on Fridays' (8am in NZ) wherever podcasts can be found. Subtitled versions of the episodes will be released on the SPLITelevision Productions YouTube channel at a later date.
