A season is not quite complete without an award ceremony of sorts.
This ceremony goes over the random stats that our league generated over the season.
You can see where you shone and where there can be room for improvements
Not all awards are built the same and some will be cause for celebration while others will be cause for pause while it will be food for thought for others

We have to hear from the champ! We welcome Vic Nyadi manager of Vic City. First Champion (23/24) of our 38wks2go league. We go over various topics that span the entirety that was our inaugural league season. We talk about strategy, adjustments.... his approach to transfers and chips. it was a fun fantasy and football chat! This will help you plan for the next season as well. I would encourage you to listen to it once again before the next season. We give you your flowers! Congratulations Vic! Thank you for your time!

38 weeks have come to an end!! where did the time go? What a ride it has been! Taking it each week at a time we have finally reached the end of the line! As Manchester City lifted their 4th title in a row, we crown Vic City as the champion of the inaugural 38wks2go league!
With an average of 52 it is far from the highest weekly average of 82 that we got last week! It was not the greatest week but it was decisive! We take a look at gameweek 38, we go over the gameweek,its top performers (Mateta!) and disappointments... (Haaland :( )
We then look at our league and how it has come together after gameweek 38

Double Gameweek 37 is over.. it was collectively great! but individually meh unless you are Brian Rutere or Vic City.. With an average of 83 it is the highest weekly average of the season! We take a look at gameweek 37, we go over the gameweek,its top performers (Gvardiol!) and disappointments... still Man Utd, Spurs and the Geordies and then look matchups of the final gameweek. The matches return on Sunday......they will be played at the same time! We have no more weeks left to go.... where did the time go? The end of the season is upon us!

Gameweek 36 is behind us.. it was collectively great! With an average of 71 there is a vast improvement over gameweek 35 (thank Haaland!) We take a look at gameweek 36, we go over the gameweek,its top performers (Haaland!) and disappointments... Man Utd and then matchups of the upcoming double gameweek 37. The matches return on the weekend..... We only have 2 weeks left to go.... where did the time go? Well done on being consistent!

Gameweek 35 is behind us.. it has not been the greatest gameweek of the season so far. With a global average of 52 there is no doubt that it was not close to the previous gameweek. We take a look at gameweek 35, the top performers and then matchups of gameweek 36, a regular gameweek.

Gameweek 34 is behind us.. it has been the greatest gameweek of the season so far. With a global average of 76 there is no doubt that it was great. We take a look at gameweek 34, the top performers (Mateta!) and then matchups of gameweek 35, another double gameweek but not one that inspires the imagination as Chelsea and Spurs have tricky fixtures.
There is no time we have 4 gameweeks left!!.... make your team!! see you on the pitch! there is some background noise that I could not escape as I recorded..

Gameweek 33 is behind us.. it wasnt great and it was not bad either. With an average of 58 there is improvement over the last gameweek.. We take a look at gameweek 33 and the impact european continental games had on the premier league! We go over gameweek 33 top performers Palmer and co and then matchups of gameweek 34. Gameweek 29 is behind us and after a historically bad gameweek.... the only way is up....... right? Well..... enter gameweek 30! we have 8 weeks left to go!!! We take a look at gameweek 30 with optimism as we know that an average gameweek of 12 points is highly unlikely! There is news out that gameweek 34 will be a double gameweek! We go over injury news and the matchups of the gameweek as we try to strategize for the easter weekend!
Gameweek 30 will definitely be a much more straightforward week than its predecessor!

This is the worst game week this season and I honestly would not be surprised if it was the worst game week ever
Gameweek 29 is done and we have collectively sunk to the pits of fantasy hell! the average point going down to 12 points is proof of that. Not going down by 12 but globally the average was 12.
With only four games being played it was always going to be tough. We knew it was coming we prepared the best we could but it is as the saying goes... man plans fantasy gods laugh. We go over all 4 games.... only West Ham v Villa went as "normal"/possibly expected
We then enter a bit of an existential crisis in regards to fantasy.... Was this worth using a free hit? Why did we collectively crumble? and so much more

Gameweek 29 aka the void is here but lets review the difficult gameweek that was gameweek 28
Gameweek 28 is done and we have collectively dropped over our gameweek 27 performance! All good things come to an end! the average went down by almost 22 points. We take a look at the biggest results of the weekend.... Arsenals great hammering run is over but they are still winning! Spurs were the biggest winners this week with a dominating 4-0 win over Villa. The Solanke captaincy was not as great as we had hoped.... Bournemouth really kept us on the edge of our seats...Luton vs Bournemouth was a premier league classic!! Burnley and Sheffield surprised us by not losing. Marquee match was a draw....
We look forward to gameweek 29 and prepare for for what will be a tough game with such few matches available to us.

I know..... the title is a bit dramatic but it is impossible to look forward to gameweek 28 without talking about gameweek 29! Listen and you will understand why!
Gameweek 27 is done and we have collectively improved over our gameweek 26 performance! the average going up by almost 20 points is proof of that. We take a look at the biggest results of the weekend.... Arsenal continue steam rolling over teams... and Manchester is blue! The cottagers surprise everyone by grounding the seagulls!! We look forward to gameweek 28 and prepare for two gameweeks at a time.
Gameweek 28 will be the most straightforward and complicated week ahead!

Gameweek 26 is done and our first blank real gameweek is complete! We knew it was coming yet we were collectively not quite as prepared as we would have liked..... there were points to be gotten, we just did not quite get them resulting in a bit of an underwhelming gameweek. Now that Liverpool, Spurs, Chelsea and Luton did not play and that impact was felt widely!! From an average of 72 to 46 it is clear that it was a bit tougher. We take a look at the biggest results of the weekend.... Arsenal continue rolling over teams... and Villa and West Ham hammer their opponents!! we look forward to a "less" challenging gameweek as we plan ahead.
Watch out for gameweek 29!

Gameweek 25 is done and our first real double gameweek is complete! It was not quite what we had expected going in.... injuries played their part in shaping what would end up being a bit of an underwhelming gameweek. Now that Liverpool, Spurs, Chelsea and Luton will have a blank gameweek due to the EFL Cup final..... how are your teams structured? We take a look at the biggest results of the weekend.... Arsenal remain king makers!! Just as I had suggested in the previous episode, It was better to have the right Arsenal player than a double gameweek player... we look forward to the challenging gameweek as we plan ahead.

Arsenal players have a big gameweek that really affect our table as we look back at gameweek 24.
