We hear it’s healthy to laugh. Have you? With Taylor Tijerina on today’s episode of Chasin’ Birdies, you’re guaranteed to have a few laughs while giving yourself a dose of a health benefit.
We open up the episode and get a look into what propelled Taylor on his path to becoming one of social media’s comedian influencers. We hear about his time around COVID when golf was taking off, and work was on the back shelf. He made good use of time and started reeling off videos on TikTok to help build his brand.
We turn the episode over and chat about his influences on making videos and the role his wife plays in helping him deliver quality content. With a rolodex of content in his phone, it’s clear that this part-time ‘gig’ is going full steam ahead. We merge this into some golf talk and get into some stories of golf and trips with the homies.
We round out the episode with our standard tap-in segment where we ask Taylor four questions that demand his quick response. Tune in now for a humorous episode and make sure to give TJ a follow on social media. You won’t regret it.

This week’s episode we switch it up from the fairway to the treestand and hang out with our buddy Greg Camp from HALO Waterfowl. This is the second real ‘outdoorsman’ we’ve had on Chasin’ Birdies and we get into a lot of good topics surrounding hunting and a bit of golf.
We open up the episode and get into what’s been going on with Greg this year and his start of HALO Waterfowl. We hear the whole story and tie it in with a subtle shoutout to his business partner, Riley Green. We talk about wild game, and hunts Greg has been on, including some gnarly ones in Colorado.
We dissect the best game meat to eat and how to cook it up. Greg has a knack for making things seem too easy with respect to hunting. We talk about hunt trips and how they compare to golf trips. We believe there is a similar parallel between being on the course and being in the woods. We round out the interview with some golf talk and finish with our standard tap-in segment where Greg is asked 4 questions that demand his quick response. Tune in now for a different type of episode on Chasin’ Birdies..and one we feel you’ll enjoy!

Before we start with our Fall star-studded lineup of guests, we’re starting off with a fresh banter sesh with us two yuckin’ it up. We open up the episode and dive right into college football and football talk, period. We turn the page over and talk about the recent WVU golf tournament we were a part of..for a day. We heckled some of the players and made them feel extra comfortable hitting a t-shot 180 with water left.
We flipped the script and headed to Nashville where we played in the Blue Otter golf event. We chat a bit about the tournament and some of the boys playing..as well as an impromptu call to Donald Trump via John Daly. We get into some good stories on and off the course.
We dabble into some golf talk and give a big shoutout to a friend of the pod, Rocco Mediate on his recent win. We highlight a potential hunting trip and sign off in professional fashion. Thank you for tuning in this week. We hope you enjoyed this one.

We’re full swing into football season (see what we did there?), and on this week’s episode of Chasin’ Birdies, we have a guy who can snap a football better than you, but can he beat you on the course?
Christian Kuntz (Pittsburgh Steelers) joins us to talk about all things life and his path to success in the NFL. We feel long snappers are underappreciated in this game so we’re here to let people know that we need LONG SNAPPERS, especially if our fantasy team has a good kicker.
We open up the episode and get a good background look in the early part of his career. Growing up in Pittsburgh it was always a dream to play for the home team, and going undrafted landed him a spot to prove his worth with the Steelers. Christian tells us stories about his college days and how it felt to be picked up in the NFL.
We hear some softer stories, though, especially one from his wedding night and his first occasion on the golf course. Speaking of golf, the guy can’t kick the habit. We hear how he was introduced to golf and why it was pretty painful at first. We get into the thick of things with discussions of his golf game now and where he wants to be next off-season.
We end the episode with our standard tap-in segment presented by Bettinardi Golf, where we ask Christian four questions that demand his quick response. Tune in now as you drive, work out, or fall asleep. This episode will keep you peeled!

We’re back this week with an episode that comes with some recognition. The 19th Society (Andrew Saab) joins us this week on Chasin’ Birdies to talk about his rise to Instagram celeb status by creating some of the best memes out there. At the very least, this episode will keep you laughing.
We cover a wide array of topics on this episode. We open up with getting a look at what Andrew does to keep the 19th Society handle relevant. He tells us how he draws inspiration from movies and ties those into the golf world. We chatted some PGA Tour / LIV Golf talk as well as discussions surrounding the future of Tiger Woods. We hear from Andrew and his attempt to play golf left handed from a natural born righty. Here how this one shakes out.
Overall, nothing too serious in this episode but one that will make you laugh..if you’re into laughing. Tune in now, share, and follow 19thSociety on Instagram!

We’re back this week with another fresh episode. Despite both of us being ‘away from our desks,’ we still managed to get the intro and outro done at less-than-ideal conditions.
We open up the episode with some talk of when Tanev played for the Pittsburgh Penguins. We catch up a bit and chat about some stories surrounding golf here in PA. We get a look into the mood when Brandon was dealt to Seattle when the NHL expanded. He tells us what it was like playing for a city with its first NHL team.
We turn the episode over and chat about what’s going on in today’s world. The NHL offseason can be short, so hanging out with family and relaxing in Canada seems to be the right move for Brandon. We get into some Canada talk and bring up a story from Pepe’s bachelor party in Toronto and what happened on that day in Lake Ontario.
We catch up on some golf experiences he’s had, specifically in the pacific northwest as well as a round at Chamber’s Bay. We take a look into the upcoming NHL season and what that prep is like.
We round out the episode with our standard tap-in segment, where we ask four questions that demand his quick response. Tune in now to this week’s episode, and let us know what you think!

Gentry Humphrey comes on today’s show with a deep look into his career in the fashion world. Shoes are an integral part of a golfer's wardrobe, and Gentry has that touch to make what you wear look good.
We open up and get a look into the background of Gentry and how he entered the fashion world. We hear early stories of him working for Nike and how that catapulted him into a meeting with Phil Knight to launch the Jordan brand. We hear a bold story about the first time Gentry was scheduled to meet Michael Jordan and other stories about his beginning.
We turn the episode over and hear about his own shoe line, Code by Gentry. If you haven’t seen them..check them out..buy a pair and your feet will thank you. It’s clear in this interview Gentry doesn’t cut corners and his committed to the idea of bettering a product with each release.
We wind down the episode with some banter about golf and stories he’s had with players. He tells a story of the Jordan shoe that came out this year for the US Open which most people wouldn’t know.
We wrap it up with our standard tap-in segment, where we ask Gentry 4 questions that demand his response. Tune in now to a gem of an episode!

Nate Thompson is on Chasin’ Birdies this week. The guy endured a helluva career in the NHL and is still grindin’ daily on his new projects. We open up the episode and talk a bit about his career. We touch on some times he had in the NHL and what it felt like to retire at an age under 40.
We turn over the episode to talk about the discovery of his business, 44 Concierge. Nate gives us a look at why he started this business and what it means for current athletes. 44 Concierge assists athletes in all areas of life, especially when traded and in need of assistance.
We dive into golf talk and hear about the golf tournaments Nate puts on. He’s teamed up with the pro athlete golf tour and puts on celebrity tournaments across the country with expansion in the plans. We round out the episode with our standard tap-in segment, where Nate is asked 4 questions that demand his quick response.
Tune in now to hear a good episode with a solid dude!

It’s hard to win a PGA Tour event, let alone a major championship. For Bryson DeChambeau, this sometimes looks too easy. We get a good look into the relationship between BDC and his caddie, Greg Bodine, on this week’s episode. Greg sits down with us and gives us a look into the caddie/player relationship during this year's U.S. Open.
We open up the episode and dive right into U.S. Open talk. After a quick detour in the air, Greg gives us the lay of the land for the prep work done leading up to round 1. With the excitement building on the final round, we talk strategy and hear whether or not Bryson thought of hitting three wood instead of driver at any point during the round. Greg sheds some light on the driver head he was using and how this was a decision made fifteen minutes before the first tee.
We get a glimpse into the putting approach Bryson uses. Greg tells us there was a learning curve involved, but he was able to catch up when he was called to caddie for Bryson. We get into some talk about playing on the LIV tour and how fans now around all of golf are embracing Bryson. You just have to listen to hear for yourself.
We turn the episode over and end on our standard tap-in segment, where we ask Greg four questions that demand his quick response. Tune in now, share, and if you’re an avid golf fan, we know you’ll enjoy this one.

We’re back this week on Chasin’ Birdies with an atypical approach to our episode. We have a guest joining us in our banter while we discuss all things golf. Vincent Trocheck (NY Rangers) sits down with us and breaks down the U.S. Open as well as other topics trending in golf.
We dive into Bryson’s epic win at Pinehurst No.2 and recap the battle between him and Rory. Not that our thoughts matter, but we are fans of Bryson. We talk about his role on and off the course and how he can be the leader to mend the divide in golf.
We get into Troch’s quick trip to Fisher’s Island and discuss the course as well as other trendy clubs in NY. We hear about his Member-Guest tournament coming up, which is at Winged Foot…not a big deal.
We turn the episode over to some other banter and talk about some current golf topics, like highlighting the Allegheny Member-Guest, Pepe’s injury, and Neal Shipley turning pro. This banter is exactly that…a banter. Tune in, share, like, dislike, but as always, we appreciate the listen.

June golf is underway. Summer is here and pools are full of kids. Most of us will be golfing, and some of us are on a hiatus from golf until late summer. One of us…being Pepe.
We open up the episode and hear about the broken fibula that took place during a heated game of whiffle ball….yes, that’s correct. Pepe gives us a look into his injury and how he’s trying to cope with not being on the course. From the sounds of things, he’s feeling pretty optimistic.
We turn the talk over to golf and dissect this past week’s Memorial Tournament where Scottie Scheffler, um, won again. Surprising? No. We love seeing him win…but is golf becoming too predictable? Hopping over to the LIV Tour we chat about their recent run in Houston and the outcome of that event.
Our attention turns to the U.S Open which kicks off today at Pinehurst No.2. Who we pick, can you load up on Scottie, will Tiger make the cut, and the havoc this course can create are all discussed. Also, we take a look at the BMW PRO-AM that just took place and three pasts guests on Chasin’ Birdies were in the field. How did they fare? We don’t know, either.
We end the episode with some banter and decide we’ll be back next week for a new episode (with a guest). Tune in, share, and enjoy the Father’s Day Weekend…or the U.S Open..your pick.

We all know how today’s world operates with respect to the youth. More pressure on social media, more pressure to perform, and more pressure on themselves to be better athletes. How do we, as adults, steer these children on the right track?
Travis Snider, former MLB, joins us to discuss the movement he’s behind with 3A Athletics. Having a past of his own has allowed him to understand what the right way to go about youth development is all about. We open up the episode and get into his background and playing career. We talk a bit about his professional career and how he shifted mentally after he retired.
We dive into his development and mentoring for the youth. We get into the beginning stages of 3A Athletics and what the purpose of this organization is.
We turn over to some golf talk and hear about his passion and love for golf, even after he injured himself on the course. We then turn the episode over to our standard Tap-In segment, where we ask him four questions that demand his quick-witted response. Tune in now for an episode that will shed light on some topics you may not be too familiar with!

Banter sessions are a part of our DNA. We’re back this week with another one of just us two yuckin’ it up.
We open up and discuss the recent quick trip up to State College, PA to see our boy Mitchell Tenpenny. To sum it up, we ended up in a 5 v 5 basketball game with Pepe leaving with a bone bruise to the knee. For some reason, this is actually funny.
We turn the episode over and dive into some recent golf talk. We’re headed to Crooked Stick in Indy then rounding out the trip with Troubadour and Old Hickory in Nashville.
The episode turns over to some golf talk. We get into some recent rounds we played and talk a little about course management. We hit on the Pete Dye Member Guest and discussed our return after a year off. The Sunnehanna 4 Ball event is a top notch amateur event, which will include us two in the field this year.
We round out the episode with some typical banter from the two of us to keep it fresh. Tune in to this lighthearted interview and get yourself a few free laughs. As always, thanks for listening!

This week on Chasin’ Birdies, we aren’t taking any X- Outs. Instead, we’re sitting in with two college quarterbacks to hear from them about life, sports, and the pursuit of birdies.
We open up the episode and dive into the background of both Garrett and Nicco. We talk about upbringing and why they both chose WV for their football careers. After talking about some games and the 2023 season, we jump over to some golf talk to tie it all together.
It’s clear from the conversation they both are slightly addicted to golf..when they of course have time. We talk about the PGA Tour and LIV golf and get into some course talk.
We round out the episode with our standard tap-in segment where each are asked questions that demand their quick witted response. Tune in now and let the easy listening begin. We know you’ll enjoy this one. Also - check out the full video on our YouTube channel.

Every episode on Chasin’ Birdies serves a different purpose. The one constant, though, remains the same and that’s our love for the game and pursuit of the chase. Today’s episode is no different. Lee Trevino sits down with us and gives us a look inside his career and golf as a whole from his vantage point.
The episode opens up with us having light banter with Lee. He gives us a glimpse of his early life before golf was even a thought. He tells the story of caddying and being around golf, but it wasn’t until after the Marines that he felt he had the game to compete professionally.
Lee takes us on a ride with a story about his first tournament, which he won. A 6x major champion, Lee tells us about his 1971 season, where he won the US Open, Canadian Open, and The Open Championship consecutively. He shares some insight early on with swing mechanics and how technology wasn’t available at the time to dissect the game like it is today.
We get into some stories about playing in the Ryder Cup with Arnold Palmer as the Captain. Jack Nicklaus, Sam Snead and Mo Norman stories, too. Sitting with a legend and hearing these stories don’t happen often. At the end of the day, we’re all still chasin’.
We round out the episode with Lee telling us about his daily routine at home and his new clothing venture with his son, Daniel. Although he doesn’t play much golf, he still hangs at the course every day. We finish up with our standard Tap-In Segment, where Lee is asked 4 questions that demand his response. Tune in, share, and enjoy. We know you’ll love this one.

The Connected Golfer..that can mean so many things when it comes to golf. Leo Herrera is just that dude, and he joins us today on Chasin’ Birdies to cover a lot of golf talk…and staying connected.
If you have social media, you may have seen Leo’s reels from time to time. If you haven’t, make sure you check him out. We open up the episode and talk with Leo about his pursuit of golf and his little range session with Viktor Hovland.
Leo considers himself an exhibition golfer who tries to grow the game at a high level through content and teaching. He explains his idea behind The Connected Golfer, and it all starts to make sense.
Leo talks about his win at the USGA Four-Ball at Chambers Bay in 2021, which was a wild story to hear. We chat about the development of golfers early on and whether or not someone just ‘has it’ in their ability to win events. Putter talk ensues..and it can’t be overlooked that the mallet putter is gaining popularity.
We pose the Golfer’s Dilemma to Leo and get his thoughts on whether a caddie’s performance on the course affects the tip at the end of the round. We round out the episode with our standard Tap-In Segment, where we ask 4 questions that demand his quick response. We cover a lot in this episode and a lot of good stuff. Tune in and enjoy the banter.

We love a good banter sesh. This week, that’s what we have. No guest on Chasin’ Birdies this week, but we do a good job filling the void.
We open up the show and touch on our tournament play at the Pine Needles Invitational. We talk about the misfortunes all golfers have on the golf course and a quick impromptu round at The Cradle.
We turn it over to the Anthony Kim / LIV talk. Is this going to be a good move for LIV or a big loss for the PGA Tour? We debate this and chop it up for a bit before we turn it over to this week’s PGA event, The Players.
We do a good job jabbin’ some humor at one another, and this episode is full of that. If you need a smile or a break from reality, tune in to this week’s episode and get to know your hosts a little more. As always, we appreciate the love.

JP Arencibia joins us this week on Chasin’ Birdies. We kick off our 4th season with a banger! By the way, thanks for the support along the way. We heart you.
We open up the episode with some cigar talk..like right away. JP and Pepe can’t help but salivate at the mouth when they hear the word ‘cigar.’ They both agree that smoking a cigar is a way to relax. Hmm.
We chop it up over what it was like growing up in Miami and the transition into the baseball world. JP fills us in on his whole baseball career. We get into the modern world of baseball and how these rule changes positively affect the game.
We get into some deep talk about mental health. JP opens up about some of his battles and discusses the thought process. Whether golfing or on the field, being able to stay present in the moment is key to success.
We end our episode with our standard tap-in segment AND the new addition - Golfer’s Dilemma, where we pose a dilemma scenario that we’re all familiar with! Tune in to this week’s episode and start your day off right!

Entrepreneurs are generally fascinating people. For us, we love to hear the success stories, especially when they involve golf. That’s the trend for today’s episode. We sat down with Mike Flaskey, former CEO of Diamond Resorts, to discuss all things life and golf and his new entertainment company.
We open up the episode and get into the early days. We talk about Diamond Resorts and the impact Diamond Resorts had on golf. If you watch any golf, you may remember some of the golfers wearing Diamond Resorts on their hats.
Mike tells us about the start of their entertainment platform that started with Colt Ford. This platform allowed for an entertainment aspect to be infused into the golf tournaments. We turn the episode over to some technical talk consisting of golf where it is today vs. golf where it was yesterday.
We jump ahead to when Diamond Resorts sold to Hilton. We ask Mike what it was like being in on this deal..and how he treated himself after the deal closed. His answer may surprise you.
We turn the episode over down the stretch and talk more about entertainment and golf. We chat about Isleworth and other great courses in FL. We end the episode with our standard Tap-In Segment, where we ask Mike 4 questions that demand his quick response. Tune in now to hear from a guy that we all could take a little inspiration from.
