Hey babes!
Tonight we are talking openly and raw with Mary Bigbull who is an indigenous woman who is telling not only her story but generations of her family's side of their story. Her family endured the hell that was residential schools and how it can lead to inter-generational trauma and how even Mary who didn't herself attend any of the residential schools, is dealing with the trauma of what happened. Today we chatted with Jillian Dean! She is a Manual Osteopath!
Ever since she was young, Jillian has known she was meant to be a healer. Her natural intuition, coupled with a thirst for anatomy knowledge, made understanding and listening to the body second nature for.
As a young healer Jillian’s first instinct was to choose a career in healthcare; for 7 years she lived in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory and enjoyed a career in Medical Imaging. Craving a more hands on and holistic approach to healing, she moved on to a career as a Manual Osteopath and hasn’t looked back.
Since shifting careers, Jillian has made it her mission to help those seeking an explanation for their unexplained and untreated pain. Jillian understands that some body tension is physical, and some can be caused by unexpressed turmoil or traumas. She is well equipped to help facilitate healing and release of both physical and emotional blocks during treatment.

Today we are talking with Kristal Hawryluk (Luckyfin_mamaof2) who's son was born with a limb difference and she has taken this journey and created a foundation where she fundraises to raise money to go towards an amazing Genetic Centre that will open here in Calgary once the funds are raised. This centre would allow parents who are going through the same circumstances to get answers faster and to not have to wait months.
We discuss Brady's story and what it all entails and how their mantra of "All Different, All The Same" is something they are trying to get into everyones hearts.
We encourage you to listen, in some spots the audio has glitches but we decided that in the full discussion, the real conversation with Kristal (even with the audio glitches) was well worth keeping it in its original form!!
