When it comes to mixing two families together, much wisdom comes from this episode's couple in how they were able to slowly work at making sure their children developed a relationship with their newly grafted-in family member. A blended marriage (or a "CrockPot marriage" as Ken so quickly reminds us) takes time. Tanna and Ken's compelling story shows strength, vulnerability in weakness, intuition and sincere determination when it comes to a second marriage for both. Lots of mistakes, lots of tears, but in the end - lots of hope and faith that anyone can overcome a broken marriage (even the second time around) through Marriage Dynamics Institute.
This is a great episode to pass along to all married couples who struggle with infidelity, character flaws or those trying to make their family system work.

Jason and Becky Kridner didn't know if they were going to make it past thirteen years of marriage until they found Dynamic Marriage. After being a part of a Dynamic Marriage training weekend, they knew immediately that the wanted to heal first, then help other marriages to heal and thrive too.
The Kridners have been leading Dynamic Marriage workshops now for fifteen years. This couple enjoys a flourishing marriage that they've worked hard on and continue to do so. Jason says, "It's less about information (because there are many courses and curriculums out there), but none is as transformational as Marriage Dynamic's Dynamic Marriage course."
These top notch, vulnerable and relatable facilitators know - there's nothing that will change the course of dead-end marriage quite like Dynamic Marriage!

It's National Marriage Week, Feb. 7th-14th! On this episode, Paul and Joyce Ciotta entered into their new marriage covenant together after losing both of their spouses to cancer. While never forgetting or walking away from the history of their past loves, they both have great wisdom and counsel on what it took to love again. Both share candidly and honestly on the power of prayer and the choice to create new memories as God uses them in their ministries today.
Paul is a Chaplain for America's Keswick Addiction and Recovery Center in Whiting NJ, and Joyce is Partner Care Associate for the ministry at America's Keswick as well. Their heart and passion for reaching others for Christ is quite evident, as God uses both Paul's counseling expertise and Joyce's ministry in music. Two are better than one, and the Ciottas are definitely on a journey to effectively train, care and restore broken lives.

Since financial compatibility is rarely discussed before a couple makes a long-term commitment, it has become one of the most difficult hurdles in a marriage. Money is known to be the number one issue married couples argue about, with more than a third blaming finances for the stress they experience in their relationship. This season, with the year’s high inflation and rising costs, the holidays may not feel so “merry & bright” for many.
Senior Director of Winshape Marriage, Julie Munz Baumgardner discusses with host Sue Duffield, insightful and practical ways couples can successfully navigate — or avoid altogether — financial disagreements this Christmas.
As a passionate champion for families, Julie has nearly 40 years of experience in helping marriages and families thrive. Prior to joining WinShape, she spent 20 years as the President/CEO of First Thing First. Julie currently chairs the Board of Directors for the National Association for Relationship & Marriage Education. She presented at the White House Conference on Helping America’s Youth and testified on Capitol Hill about the benefits of marriage. She is a nationally sought-after speaker at conferences, parenting seminars and marriage retreats where she gives talks on strengthening marriage, preparing for parenthood and navigating the complexities of motherhood. She is a Certified Family Life Educator and Certified Crisis Intervener. Julie and her husband, Jay, have been married since 1989. They are the proud parents of an adult daughter, Ashley. Julie enjoys gardening, horseback riding, cooking, working with children, and mentoring couples.
