I will not apologize for making a super-sized episode of Anna & The Apocalypse but I will certainly apologize for making a super-sized episode on the Silent Night, Deadly Night franchise. Sorry. I get into why there will be a special place in my heart for these dumb movies. How they will always be associated with my memories of watching Holiday Horror to turn 2022 into A Horrordays Celebration. Them hitting streaming really inspired the whole thing! That being said, 4 of the 6 movies I’d rather not ever watch again. Episode 4 was a challenge that really got away from me! I’ll be back soon with a SHORTER episode on a GOOD movie, but for now, here it is… let’s deep dive into this trash! Because you know what day it is…

Thrilled by my first time (and blind) watch of zombie/comedy/musical Anna And The Apocalypse (2017). So thrilled, I couldn't help but make a SUPERSIZED episode loving on it this week. I swoon for Sarah Swire as queer hero Steph as well as her clever choriography in her duel production role. I am tickled by this wip smart screenplay and pop sensibility on the songs. I am dazzled by the cast, moved by the production history, and had no idea all of this come from a little Scottish movie that I hadn't heard of whos concept was what if the kids from High School Musical got eaten by zombies. Yes, life is different now after AATA. Don't judge! Just listen. Happy Horrordays!

This week, I geek out on the lady who is practicly perfect in every way. No Mary, not her, I am talking about the Goddess Joan Collins! Iconic, from her dulcit tones to the way she glistens when disposing the body of her husband on Christmas Eve. Yes, we get a taste of Collins' 1970's horror ovre with 1972's Tales From The Crypt and the seasonal story "...All Through The House." This in turn makes me visit the 1989 HBO version starring Mary Ellen Trainor. What a great start to Happy Horrordays! Killer Santa Away!

Welcome to my first episode of my first podcast. Please be kind! I am making Thanksgiving my podcast birthday by kicking off on Turkey Day and laying out my intentions for a Horror filled Holiday Season after a let down of a Halloween. I list some Thanksgiving Horror Movies (niche, I know) and dive into Hulu's Into The Dark: Pilgrim (2019), a feature length anthology horror show episode that showcases the decapitation of one of my childhood gay boy crushes! This is just a warm up kids.... we have a winter of terror to come!
