Melissa Burton grew up dancing competitively and serving on the dance ministry at her church before starting Impact in September 2018. After moving to California to pursue her passion for the entertainment industry, God in His reckless love took ahold of her. It was then that Melissa was given a heart for women's dance ministry and uniting women around the world. She realised that women needed to be given an outlet to express their struggles and allow God's truth through movement to be the answer to their freedom. Today, Melissa is uniting women across the globe and demonstrating that dance is more than just movements, but rather also a way to show the good news of Jesus.

Michelle is the founder and director of the Epicenter for the Arts along with Dance Revolution national tour and Ingredients Dance Company. She and her husband, Alec, have been traveling the country since 2000 imparting to youth and adults the destiny that God has given to them as well as teaching them how to utilize their gifts and talents for a positive purpose and a higher standard. Michelle has been teaching and equipping performing artists since 1990. She has traveled nationwide and abroad performing and teaching. She has appeared on Television, in Print, Industrials, Commercial work, Universal Studios, Disney and more.
Besides speaking at ministry events nationwide, Michelle trains young men and women on a weekly basis in the dance training program Ingredients’. She has written 11 original productions that have been performed throughout the country and have packed out conventions and ministry events. Some of the titles of these Hollywood style productions include ABLAZE, The Gate, Marked, The Ring, The Tree, A.R.K , Red, White, The Visitation, Deserted and The Cast. She has been blessed to be married to the man of her dreams since 1998 and has two handsome young boys to add to her treasures…Zander and Brody

Dominique Klein is the Artistic Director of Amplified Arts Academy in Sydney, Australia. Dominique believes every young person should have the opportunity to explore their passion for the arts, and at Amplified Arts she hopes to raise up a new generation of creative talent. Dominique is a very talented dancer and teacher with twenty-one years of classical training and performance experience. She is from California, United Sates. Dominique trained under the direction of Salwa Rizkalla and Dmitri and Jennifer Kulev, where she received a strong foundation in classical ballet, contemporary and jazz. Dominique received additional training and experience through summer intensives with Ballet West and American Ballet Theatre. Dominique participated and qualified for finals in Youth America Grand Prix, an international ballet competition, from 2004-2013. She has performed in numerous ballets including The Nutcracker, Giselle, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Firebird, and Midsummer Night’s Dream. Dominique has performed at the ICC Sydney and Qudos Bank Arena for Hillsong Conferences from 2015-2020. She has had the opportunity to share the stage with many well renowned professional ballet and contemporary dancers. Dominique completed an Advanced Diploma of Ministry at Hillsong International Leadership College.

Sue Abts, an avid lover of dance, Hip Hop and people, lives to spread the love of Christ in the dance industry within Germany and beyond. You will be infected by her passion and love for people and challenged on the responsibility we have as Christian leaders within the arts industry.
---Sue started dancing at the age of 4 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and trained Ballett, Modern Dance, Jazz and Tap Dance. She joined various dance shows and musicals at a very young age such as Broadway Babies, Annie, Hello Dolly, Abba. Later on she discovered her passion for Hip Hop & Streetdance at the age of 13 inspired by the movie “You got served“ and “Honey“ which are still her favourite movies today. In high school events she showed her passion on stage with her own choreographies & style and taught her very first advanced class in 2011 in a Fitness Center of Cologne, Germany. Since then she found her passion for teaching and giving to others. She has been dancing, choreographing and teaching in Indonesia and Germany, joining national & international competitions and toured with Könige & Priester, a German Christian Band. Today she teaches at Momentum College, a Christian leadership & creative College, where she teaches young talents how to serve God’s Kingdom through hip hop dance. Sue loves the culture of hip hop that shares the love & support in the dance community. Her mission is to bring this culture of love back to today’s dance community and spread the light and love of Jesus to all dancers.

Steve Rooks began his dance training in Washington, D.C. after graduating with honors from Dartmouth College. He continued his training in New York City as a full scholarship student at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center. Mr. Rooks danced and toured with the Ailey Repertory Ensemble and the Martha Graham Dance Company—at the latter, he performed for over a decade and achieved the rank of Principal Dancer.Mr. Rooks is currently Chair of Dance and Resident Choreographer at Vassar College. He has also taught as a guest teacher with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, the Martha Graham Dance Company, the American Academy of Ballet, Ballet Nacional de Mexico, Pehnyo Productions in Barbados, the North Carolina School of the Arts, and the International Summer School in Sydney, Australia. He has choreographed a number of pieces, including “Cool River,” which premiered at Lincoln center in 1996, and which later became part of the Graham Company repertoire. He was a 2004 winner of the National Choreographic Competition at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and created two solos for the 2004 Youth American Grand Prix Ballet Competition. He has been awarded Vassar Research grants to travel to Latvia, Zambia, and most recently Finland, where he choreographed “Plate Tectonics” on 24 international dancers. As part of the Masterworks Festival, Mr. Rooks was commissioned to create ballets for a number of contemporary composers including Clarice Assad, Piet Swerts, and David Skidmore—all accompanied by a live orchestra.
Mr. Rooks has served as an adjudicator for the American College Dance Festival. His solo “Vista” was performed by Aran Bell of American Ballet Theater at the 2014 International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Mississippi. Four contemporary solos were created for submission to the 2016 Youth American Grand Prix and the 2017 Cecchetti International Ballet Competition in Florence, Italy.
In 2017, Mr. Rooks was Artist-in-Residence at Sumeet Nagdev Dance Arts in Mumbai, India. A solo work “Dashanan” was created during that residency and had its World Premiere at the St. Andrews Auditorium in Mumbai.
Mr. Rooks would like to thank Jesus Christ for all that has happened to him.

Carley started dancing at the age of 3 at a competitive dance studio in Michigan. Here, she trained and competed in various styles of dance such as ballet, tap, hip hop, acro, lyrical, jazz, and contemporary. Carley started assisting at the age of 12 and teaching/choreographing herself at 17 years old. After graduating high school, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career as a dancer. Carley signed with Clear Talent Group in 2013 and has been a working dancer in LA ever since! She has worked with artists such as Meghan Trainor, Fergie, Dua Lipa, Black Eyed Peas, Mariah Carey, Sofia Carson, and Natalie La Rose. Her dancing has also been featured on TV networks like FOX, MTV, and ESPN in various shows and commercials. Locally, Carley loves leading Hillsong L.A.’s dance team and encouraging dancers in their faith. In her most recent venture, she spent two years touring with Puerto Rican artist Chayanne, and plans to continue her dance journey as soon as possible.

Hayna was born in Havana, Cuba and began dancing at the age of three. She worked hard in her youth and by the time she was 16, she was dancing alongside her mother as a professional dancer in the Cuban National Ballet company. After freelancing in t he U.S., she joined the Alberta Ballet, where she danced alongside her husband, Garrett Groat, for nine years. She plans to continue dancing as a guest principal artist and may start teaching to pass on her love of dance to the next generation.

Garrett Groat was born and raised in Edmonton, AB where he trained at Dance Unlimited in various styles. At age 17, Garrett was awarded a scholarship to train at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre in New York City. Some of his favourite roles with Alberta Ballet include Puss in Boots in The Sleeping Beauty, The Elton Fan in Love Lies Bleeding, White Couple in Forgotten Lands, Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet, Escamillo in Yukichi Hattori's Carmen, and as a cast member in Dump the Physical Memory.

Catherine Colon has been studying dance for 28 years in Georgia, New York City, and Sydney, Australia. Her studies have covered a wide range of styles including ballet, tap, jazz, acro, contemporary, hiphop and more. While growing up in the competition circuit in the USA, she trained at Dancing Unlimited in Georgia. After graduating high school, she attended the American Music and Dramatic Academy for their Dance theatre program from 2010 to 2011. From 2011 to 2014, she was the Artistic Director of Dance For Change based in NYC while also dancing in Jessica Ray's, Dance Into Deliverance. In 2012, she traveled to India, with Promethean Spark International, where she taught dance and acrobatics to children affected by leprosy. She then moved to Australia where she studied Dance Ministry and Pastoral Leadership at Hillsong International Leadership College from 2014-2017. She currently resides in Georgia with her husband, Michael, and daughter, Ruth.---

In this episode, Jessica Richens, second runner up in Season 11s SYTYCD, shares how her passion and diligence for excellent training launched her to where she is today. She inspires young people to train hard and use their technique in all opportunities that come their way.
---Jessica Richens’ lifelong love for dance began at age three during her early training. She studied many styles including jazz, lyrical, contemporary, ballet, hip hop, musical theater, and tap. During this time, she had numerous performance, competition, and convention opportunities and held many titles for these abilities.
For the past seven years, Jessica has been working in the professional entertainment industry. Her television credits include, So You Think You Can Dance- Season 11, where she placed 1st runner-up, The Ellen Show, Live with Kelley and Ryan, Dancing with the Stars, and The Masked Singer to name a few. Jessica has danced in music videos and performed live with artists such as Taylor Swift. She has worked for Conde Nast, Bellagio, Radio City, Nike, Exxon Mobile, Tilly’s, and Disney World. Currently, Jessica is employed by world-famous electronic violinist, Lindsey Stirling, and continues to tour with her company.
As a professional dancer and dance educator, Jessica has extensive experience training dancers from all around the world, in addition to assisting top dance professionals. When Jessica is not performing, she dedicates her time, and her love of dance to inspire budding dancers of all ages. Her career has taken her to Shanghai, Australia, Canada, and Mexico. She has taught for conventions such as XChange, Titans of Dance, Revel, assisted for RADIX and JUMP, and has trained with top industry professionals Shannon Mather, Krista Miller, Talia Favia, Mark Meismer, and Tessandra Chavez. In this episode, Jerron Herman shares his story of defying the odds. Born with cerebral palsy, he was told he would never be able to walk, eat or live on his own. Fast forward to now being a strong advocate for disabled athletes and performers, Jerron speaks of his experiences, dreams and hope for the future.
---Jerron Herman is an interdisciplinary artist creating through dance, text, and visual storytelling. He's based in New York City.
Jerron was born and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area where he began his career pursuing performance and playwriting. In 2009 he moved to New York City to study Dramatic Writing at the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. Continuing his dream of crafting stories to be performed, he then studied Media, Culture and the Arts, with an emphasis in Art History and Playwriting at The King's College where he graduated in 2013. While in school he was "discovered" by a choreographer who led him to audition for Heidi Latsky, quickly becoming a key member of her company, Heidi Latsky Dance. Jerron has performed at venues like Lincoln Center and The Whitney Museum of Art, resulting in the New York Times calling him, “the inexhaustible Mr. Herman.” As a strong advocate for disabled athletes and performers, he has been a featured model for both Tommy Hilfiger and Nike.
His performances have begun to shed light on an often overlooked niche of performance. He currently sits on the Board of Trustees at Dance/USA and is a proud member of The Disabled List and WITH, brain children of innovative thought leader, Liz Jackson. As a writer, Jerron was a finalist for the inaugural Lark Play Development Lab/Apothetae Playwriting Fellowship. He was recently nominated for the prestigious United States Artists Fellowship in Dance.
