Taking up the fact that Tesla first decided to accept Bitcoin payments and then revised that decision again with reference to environmental reasons, we discuss in this episode the huge CO2 footprint of Bitcoins and its underlying reasons as well as future solutions. Our invited expert for this discussion is Dominic Deuber from the Chair of Applied Cryptography at the FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany. Oliver Niebuhr is an associate professor at the Centre for Industrial Electronics on the SDU campus Sonderborg. He investigates the physical signals of a speaker's charismatic impact, particularly concerning acoustical factors. He is the inventor of the Acoustic Voice Profiling technology, based on which he co-founded the SDU spin-off company AllGoodSpeakers ApS.
