  • “Start early. It's easier to get your mind around the numbers when you're smaller and when the numbers are easier. And then when you grow, you already have a foundation of understanding the numbers. Knowing the numbers is not contrary to running a business that has good values. It's actually an essential support to it.” -Sarah Murray

Founded by Sarah Murray, Trialcraft endeavors to help their clients craft persuasive cases in the pretrial, in-trial, and up to post trial services. Sarah has spent over 20 years helping clients craft winning strategies and develop the best practices for litigation cases. Although her business was complicated from the get go, Sarah’s experience in academia and corporate gave her wisdom to transition successfully and keep growing.

  • “People sometimes don't have access to the same opportunities… so the training is ever more important to put everybody on the same level, to give another chance to someone who didn't have the best education to come up to the next level.” -Bernardo Weaver

Wall Street, as a global financial center for centuries, stands and continues to grow. But what can we learn from this structured industry, especially in the early stages of our business? In this episode, I am pumped to have on the show Bernardo Weaver, Founder of Weaver Advisory LLC., and also a good friend of mine. Bernardo spent over 20 years as an advisor for the World Bank and financial modeling instructor and trainer for top investment banks. He and his team help organizations find tailored solutions for their PPP projects, valuations, and financial dilemmas.

Bureaucracy and over-regulation plague the financial industry. If we look at entrepreneurship in terms of economics and resource allocation, small and average-sized businesses barely stand a chance. Thankfully, modernization is slowly bypassing the traditional banking institutions to pave the way for small business owners to succeed.

Although having their advantages, there are elites and educated people who are yet to uncover the secret of wealth. In this conversation, Bernardo and I had an incredible exchange about the financial industry and entrepreneurship. Bernardo will take you deep into the realm of world banking and some insider tips and secrets about how this giant institution makes money and how small business owners can take advantage of this structure to uplevel their game and find their niche. He also shares the importance of training and how it can help entrepreneurs break free from the trap of overeducation and demographics. The tables turned as Bernardo takes charge of the questioning (ha ha!) and I get to talk about balancing the service delivery and management aspect of your business and making your business more profitable despite the risks.

  • “Relationship is the foundation of all stories that are told. If you can't find a relationship, you're probably not telling a story.” -Chip Brewer

Storytelling is as old as human history, and knowing this reminds us that this ancient art still runs in our blood. This week, I am thrilled to speak with improv speaker, author, and storyteller Chip Brewer. Chip has been performing improvs for more than 20 years now and is passionate about teaching his secrets to those who want to get better at this craft.

Storytelling is the heart of marketing. Without stories, no business will exist. And it’s not because companies have to keep their customers entertained, but because behind every sale is a story that resonates with a customer’s unique experience. Yet, some may argue that storytelling is not a language they can speak well. Indeed, some people are more linguistically sharp than others, but as entrepreneurs, authors, speakers, and leaders always on the stage, storytelling is a highway to reach your vision.

In this episode, Chip discusses big topics such as teamwork, storytelling, and stagecraft. He shares how man’s desire and innate ability to tell and listen to stories can help promote your brand and establish a solid connection to others. Learn the fundamentals, key elements, structure, and rules of storytelling and improv. As a treat, Chip also shares some exercises and games to help you hone your storytelling skills.

Wouldn’t it be nice if product launches make your life easy rather than stressful? This week, Cody Burch drops by the KPKG stage to share his marketing expertise. Cody is the Founder of Funnels and Ads Mastery (FAM), an online community for entrepreneurs who want to level up their marketing skills. Cody helps his clients reclaim their freedom while moving towards their goals fast and simple.

As exciting as it sounds, launching a product is complicated and stressful, from conceptualizing to the actual launch day. Not to mention the elaborate work and the expenses you have to put into it. And sometimes, while the intent is to help others, the launch still fails. Therefore, it’s not surprising that many entrepreneurs get overwhelmed and devastated beyond imagination. But what if you can eliminate the majority of the launch process and go straight to finding potential customers and earning money?

In this episode, Cody introduces us to the launch method of your dreams- the Laid Back Launch. It is literally what it says. Cody discusses how the Laid Back Launch can help you navigate through the world of launches so you can go out and start helping people the soonest possible. He also drops practical steps you can take before you throw your funding and create deliverables. Cody also shares how to engage your customers, why feedbacks are crucial to the success of your launch, and when to level up your game.

  • "You don't need to change who you are. Everybody has enough motivation on the inside." -Wendy Hart

This week we're going on a little tour out of the box with Professional Performance Coach, Wendy Hart. You may remember Wendy from episode 110 and how we talked about decision fatigue. Today, our talking point orbits around another relatable topic: PROCRASTINATION. We all wish we were as productive as we can be. But it's not easy, perhaps nearly impossible to be highly prolific all the time. Reality strikes to remind us that there are times that our system is down and we have to put things off. Yet this reason seems to fall short and we are disappointed with ourselves, which disheartens us and eventually snowballs to more procrastination and unproductivity. Guess what! Procrastination is NOT your fault! You read that right. Wendy Hart explains why that is and how we can beat procrastination the fun way! Wendy shares points we got wrong about will power, unknown neuroscience facts, the chemistry of dread, and understanding our inner emotions. Make it easier for you to reach your goals! Overcome certainty bias, break your barriers, rewire your alarm system, install your anchors, and write your own freedom stories.

This week, we will have a blast talking about purpose and destiny with Jonathan Masiulionis, President of Empowered Publicity. Jonathan helps entrepreneurs, innovators, authors, and dreamers stand out in their line of service and expand their audience.

The search for purpose is one of those eternal topics with utmost importance. How do you find what your calling is? Are you worthy of it? What should you do if you are overwhelmed with fear and doubt? Is it worth taking the risk? These questions remain a mystery because sometimes, distorted illusions come to play. As a result, unhappiness, feelings of failure, and emptiness became a part of our dictionary. Today, these negative feelings are about to turn into their positive counterparts as Jonathan shares how we can step into our purpose and destiny. He also talks about healing the soul, overcoming roadblocks, finding grace in our mission, being in alignment, and embracing our light and shadows.

In this episode, I sit with Cori Willis, the author of Gifted for Greatness. Cori helps her clients find and monetize their unique gifts. Cori and I discuss why sometimes, we feel like there's a big hole in our lives. We know we should be doing something different, but that picture is either vague or scary. The question of purpose and feeling of emptiness keep plaguing our hearts. And as much as we would want to pivot and move towards the things that make us happy, certain factors stop us from taking risks or changing course. The good news is that we do not have to tear our entire life down to find that gift. Today, Cori shares what a gift is and her unique approach to finding it. She talks about how deviating away from our gift manifests in different ways, why we should embrace our quirkiness, how to build our intellectual property, and why we should be more aware of the data points in our life. We have been programmed to follow the traditional path, but not anymore! We hold the responsibility to reevaluate our life path and direct how our story is supposed to be.

  • “Make everything you do resonate with who you are. And when you do that, a lot of those tasks get easier, less painful, and manageable.” -Jeremy Finck

This week, I interview Jeremy Finck, Founder of ThinckFinck Media and Coaching and Host of ADHD Brains Radio. Jeremy helps adults with ADHD understand and manage their own ADHD experience. You can say this conversation is personal, at least for me, as I am one of the many entrepreneurs out there living with ADHD. It is not a general topic in the entrepreneurial world when we think about the possibility of success for someone with this condition. But we have enough, even too much information and anecdotal evidence to conclude that ADHD can be a superpower if managed and leveraged in the right way. And that is what Jeremy teaches us today. Jeremy helps us understand the challenges and appreciate the unique characteristics of living with ADHD. He also talks about the misconceptions around ADHD and two of the most salient points to remember about this condition. Our society was biased in portraying ADHD by focusing and emphasizing it in a negative light. But with a more enlightened perspective, the world will see that ADHD entrepreneurs can succeed, and they are often the best guys to work with.

  • “Clarity is the answer to all decision-making questions. How and what you're creating is an expression of who you are.” -Julie Gallivan

In this episode, we are having a magnified view of decision-making with Decision-Making Strategist and Clarity Coach Julie Gallivan. Julie describes decision-making as our silent partner. Most of the time, we make decisions without being mindful of it. Simple tasks such as deciding on what to eat, what to wear, where to buy certain things, and everything we do throughout the day requires decision-making. However, there are also compound problems where we need to use our mental faculties to the full. But, with the hustle, fear, and confusion that arise with these dilemmas, decision-making becomes the hardest thing in the world. We even intentionally distract ourselves only to get away with it. Until then, do we realize that we've never truly paid attention to how we've been making decisions all along. Of course, we can't keep putting-off these issues. As they pile up, we find ourselves more overwhelmed and more frustrated. Worst, we attempt to duplicate what others do, deceiving ourselves that we'll attain the same level of success they hold by doing so. We never want to find ourselves in that situation ever! So today, Julie reminds us of that one critical element that we often forget about decision-making: clarity. Julie talks about the role of our vision and identity in the choices we make. She also talks about how our resources, challenges, and patterns affect our judgments. Most importantly, Julie explains how we can structure our decision-making process, so we can take practical steps towards success.

  • “Spiritual thinking is the understanding about the spiritual world and also living in harmony with modern life and mother nature.” -Bachi Nyangar

Bachi Nyangar, Founder of Travel Mongolia, occupies the guest’s seat this week. This conversation is not only enlightening because of the spiritual aspects we’ve talked about but also liberating as we understand that our struggle to keep positive thinking always at work lies in just one thing. We are not talking about any particular belief or religious institution but in our role as spiritual beings. We often keep our spiritual and secular lives separate because of all the hypocrisies and controversies surrounding that concept. But seeing as how it creates disconnection in our whole being, it’s about time we harmonize our dimensions and live as we’re supposed to be. Bachi expounds on what spiritual thinking is, which is also the theme of his upcoming book. He also elaborates on why positive thinking works, the balance between the good and the bad, the significance of the way we name things, and the urgent need to reconnect with mother nature.

We’ve heard about all the wildfires devastating California and Bachi is out for another rapid response to solve this problem. Click the link below and learn how you can be of support:

  • “Your world is full of everyone else trying to be someone else. Just be you. Don't be afraid to magnify that piece of you that's uniquely you because it can take you to some incredibly extraordinary places.” -Jesse Brisendine

We have another incredible guest this week: Jesse Brisendine, host of A Handful of Hope Podcast and creator of Zero Limits Coaching. Jesse helps his clients weave together success and fulfillment, and that’s what we’re going to talk about today. Maybe you still remember when you were in school analyzing The Great Gatsby or memorizing all the tricky math equations. After spending all those years, it’s funny how we barely remember anything at all. What’s not laughable is, how after graduation, we have to throw those concepts away and start learning how life works. Now, the hard work of unlearning some of the things we were programmed to believe and discovering who we are and what we want begins.

In this episode, we learn how to avoid default drift patterns and empower ourselves. Jesse focuses on two things of which ironically, act as our superpower and archenemy at the same time: our thoughts and our emotions. While growing up, we learned that we must take control of our situation, which is mission impossible in itself (unless we are agent 007!). Rather than taking over the things we have little or no control over, Jesse shares how we can show accountability in the emotions resulting from those circumstances. He also talks about how we can extract a part of our pain and use it to create a picture of our vision and purpose in life. We want to live a meaningful life and be able to teach our children how to do the same. With that, you may be interested in Jesse’s advice on how to be an active observer and participant in your kid’s life.

  • "Everyday, each of us, is the author of our own life story based on our choices, habits, and actions. At the same time, history is not destiny. Each morning brings a fresh page we get to write on to decide where the plot goes next." -Eric Bartosz

Eric J. Bartosz, the Founder of BAR40, stops by this week in our KPKG stage. A day in our lives revolves mainly around hassles and hustles. There are even times (if not most of the time) when we start to wonder if we’re still alive! The set up of our society sucks the joy out of our lives. But not anymore! Eric’s Bar 40 Method counteracts that default we’re programmed to follow. I am particularly intrigued by his methodology that combines self-empowerment and fun. Today, Eric expands more on how the Bar40 method works, along with our goal of becoming the best version of ourselves. He shares two ways we usually look at things, how these perceptions affect how we react, how we can balance ambition and acceptance, and how to set up a new standard for personal excellence in our terms. The Bar40 method is sustainable and fun. Nobody wants to show up feeling anxious and stressed out. Stop cheating on yourself! It is your responsibility to hold yourself accountable for your success and happiness.

If you’re tired and fed up with living in automation, it’s time you hit that play button and find out how your life can change in just 52 weeks!

  • “Nature heals and is able to overcome these devastating events, and we are a part of nature- we have that same capability! And while it's hard to feel when we're completely overwhelmed with the intensity and the violence of it all, that is when we need most to calm ourselves, get outside as much as possible, and reconnect with what matters.” -Connor Moriarty

Nature is such an inspiring wonder! And today, I am pleased to converse with a fellow advocate for outdoor healing: the Founder of Reset Outdoors, Connor Moriarty. With all that’s happening now, I became more passionate about the need for clarity and tranquility as I do with every JayWalking Session. Before the pandemic hits, the world remained and continued with its usual business, and we, as citizens of it, have never realized how much we’re wearing ourselves out to a shadow. Today’s discussion is well in its season as we face harder times along with all the stresses and traumas going on. Connor explains how burnout is slowly devouring us and how to turn that around and achieve health and balance by learning from and getting close to nature. He also elaborates on Adverse Childhood Experiences and its effect on health and performance even as the person grows older.

  • “We're designed to have desires only around things that we're meant to do… You just need to adjust your setting so you can experience it fully.” -Lenka Lutonska

This week, we have Lenka Lutonska in the house, the Limitless Millionaire Mentor and author of Energetic Selling and Marketing. We all have times when, despite having done everything we can, things aren’t working out the way we want them to be. At times, we’re perplexed just thinking what went wrong or whether we are meant to do what we’re trying to accomplish. Today, Lenka offers a unique perspective on energetic alignment and how it alters our present. Her advice is actually based on Quantum Physics, which we can find practical applications for. She also talks about how the “lack mentality” can get us in trouble, especially when working with a business partner, how to get into the higher thinking mode, and how to work energetically. On top of that, Lenka shares one exercise that can instantly empower the mind, the whopping distinction between ego and intuition, and ways to determine whether you should build a community in the social media space and if you do, how to make it work.
