Host Richard Cracknell was joined by returning regular panellists to Last Word On Spurs in Lee McQueen, Patrick Tyrant and Jason McGovern as Tottenham slipped to their first defeat of pre-season as they were beaten 2-1 by Bayern Munich in front of a 67,000 sell-out crowd in Seoul.
Son Heung-min, James Maddison and summer signings Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall all featured for Spurs, who were outplayed by the Bundesliga giants despite the absence of Harry Kane. Gabriel Vidovic capitalised on a poor pass out from Spurs goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario to give Bayern an early lead, and Leon Goretzka doubled their advantage after the break.
Pedro Porro's 25-yard strike reduced the arrears but Spurs were unable to find an equaliser against Bayern, who also gave former Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha a second-half run out.Ange Postecoglou's side are next in action on Saturday, 10 August, when they will face Bayern again at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium,

Host Lee McQueen is joined by returning panellists Jason McGovern, Ricky Norwood and Tim Winstone via Spurs Song Sheet as Son Heung-min scored twice as Tottenham edged past a team of the best players from South Korea's top flight to secure a 4-3 friendly win.
Dejan Kulusevski opened the scoring after 29 minutes before South Korea and Spurs captain Son made his mark on his homecoming in Seoul. He curled an effort into the top corner after 38 minutes and slotted home a Kulusevski assist to give his side a 3-0 lead by the break. But Team K League pulled two back in the second half after replacing their entire team at the break with Stanislav Iljutcenko netting twice within five minutes of the restart.
That prompted Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou to make changes and substitute Will Lankshear volleyed home a Timo Werner cross to give them a two-goal cushion. Oberdan responded for the hosts with nine minutes left to play but Spurs held on to seal victory, with James Maddison hitting the post in injury time. They are back in pre-season action on Saturday, when they take on Bayern Munich at 12:00 BST in Seoul.

Host Matt Hayes is joined by Korean Football Journalist Jason Lee to discuss Spurs' imminent signing of Min-hyuk Yang.
Ever since The Mirror first reported that a Premier League club was circling the young winger, it was heavily suggested that Spurs would be the club to snap up Min-hyuk Yang.
Now, we have the Fabrizio Romano ‘Here we go’ treatment, so it looks like the official announcement will not be far away. But, it seems we will have to wait until January to see him actually arrive in North London.
So, who is he, and why have Spurs signed him? Time to learn about Min-hyuk Yang.

Host Richard Cracknell is joined by co-host Lee McQueen and regular returning panellists in Jason McGovern and George Achillea as an impressive young and heavily rotated Tottenham side beat Japanese champions Vissel Kobe in Tokyo on Saturday.
Ange Postecoglou’s side have now made it three wins from as many games after victories against Hearts and QPR before Spurs embarked on their tour of Asia.
Spurs fell behind after Pape Matar Sarr’s intervention was intercepted by Yuya Osako, who fired the hosts in front. Pedro Porro would quickly level for the away side after brilliant work from Archie Gray and Dejan Kulusevski, before Heung-min Son put them ahead with a ruthless finish at the back post after the break.
The J-League side would level through forward Jean Patric’s strike, deflected off the covering Emerson Royal. Still, Spurs pushed for the winner to avoid a penalty shootout in the sweltering Tokyo heat and played some lovely incisive football, constantly going close as the game approached its end.
Young Mikey Moore would have the final say, tapping in Jamie Donley’s cross from the byline to continue his fine form this summer.

Host Ricky Sacks is joined by returning regular guests Matt Hayes, Patrick Tyrant and Ashmatic via Spurs Kings TV as Marseille confirmed the signing of midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Tottenham. The 28-year-old will join the Ligue 1 side on an initial loan, with the agreement including an obligation to buy for £17m.
Tottenham also confirmed their squad for this summer’s pre-season tour of Japan and Korea, Spurs are due to meet Vissel Kobe in Tokyo on Saturday before playing a K-League All Stars XI in Seoul on Wednesday. Ange Postecoglou’s side then square off against Bayern Munich in Seoul on Saturday, August 3.
New arrivals Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall have been included, with Postecoglou confirming the latter had avoided a serious injury during Saturday’s 2-0 win over QPR at Loftus Road. The midfielder was forced off during the first-half but the Spurs boss played down any significant concerns after the game. Rodrigo Bentancur, Giovani Lo Celso, Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven will link up with the squad closer to the start of the Premier League season after their involvement in the Copa America and Euro 2024.Radu Dragusin, who impressed for Romania in Germany this summer, will join the squad in Korea.
The club have also confirmed Bryan Gil and Sergio Reguilon will not be part of the tour after being granted permission to “explore prospective transfer opportunities”. Gil made only two League starts last season, while Reguilon was loaned out to both Manchester United and Brentford.
Fraser Forster will also remain at the club’s training ground to work on his fitness after fracturing his foot last season. Pierr-Emile Hojbjerg, meanwhile, is in France to seal a move to Marseille.
We also provide a summary of the very latest transfer news surrounding the football club.

Host Ricky Sacks is joined by returning regular panellists in Jason McGovern, TJ Ramin and Marlon Via Spurs Kings as Yves Bissouma and Dane Scarlett were on target as Tottenham beat QPR in a pre-season friendly at Loftus Road.
Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou again named a reasonably strong side against the Championship outfit, with new arrivals Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall amongst the notable youngsters involved from the off.
The hosts had look dangerous on the break with Spurs dominating most of the ball but fell victim to a moment of Premier League class from Bissouma five minutes before half-time. The midfielder beat his marker with a drop of the shoulder before playing a one-two with Dejan Kulusevski, picking the ball up on the return and rounding goalkeeper Paul Nardi to slot into an early net.
A host of changes came after the break as QPR put on the pressure but Spurs ultimately held out before Scarlett tapped in a second with his first touch.

Host Ricky Sacks is joined by returning regular guests Richard Cracknell, Ricky Norwood and Jason McGovern as Tottenham kicked off their pre-season schedule with a thumping 5-1 win over Hearts at Tynecastle. Ange Postecoglou’s side will travel to Japan and South Korea later this month, with a double-header against Bayern Munich to come, but first it was a trip to Scotland for their opening match of the summer.
A strong starting lineup gave Tottenham a 1-0 lead at the break, Brennan Johnson with the goal, before 11 changes were made at the break. Emerson Royal’s error inside a minute of the restart gave Lawrence Shankland the chance to equalise, but Spurs then ran riot to ensure it was a successful start to pre-season. Mikey Moore, the 16-year-old, offered a further glimpse of his potential with sharp work in the box, before Djed Spence and Ashley Phillips got themselves on the scoresheet too.

Host Ricky Sacks and co-host Matt Hayes react to Spurs beating Brentford to the signing of 18-year-old Gray, who played 52 matches in all competitions - in midfield and at right-back - for Leeds last season.
Tottenham Hotspur have signed midfielder Archie Gray from Leeds United for about £30m, with defender Joe Rodon moving in the opposite direction in a deal worth about £10m.
Gray has signed a contract until 2030 with Spurs, who Leeds said had "met a release clause that was triggered by the club’s failure to get promoted at the first attempt". The sale is believed to be enough to make the Elland Road club compliant with profit and sustainability rules, after their defeat in the Championship play-off final by Southampton cost them promotion and forced them to sell players.

Host Ricky Sacks and co-host Matty Hayes discuss the imminent arrival of Archie Gray To Tottenham Hotspur during this summer transfer window.
Spurs have now made an approach for Gray and are strong favourites to sign the England Under-21 player. Brentford have not given up hope, but accept the situation is complicated.
Gray was a near ever-present for Leeds last season, playing 52 matches in all competitions - primarily in midfield but occasionally at right-back - and he signed a new long-term deal in January.
Leeds will need to sell players in the close season after narrowly missing out on promotion to the Premier League, losing to Southampton in the Championship play-off final.

Host Ricky Sacks is joined by returning special guest John Greechan, author of Revolution: Ange Postecoglou: The Man, the Methods and the Mastery to provide some insight into the additions of Nick Montgomery and Sergio Raimundo as part of Ange Postecoglou's new look coaching staff ahead of the new season.
Ricky also reflects on Matthew Wells' promotion of Senior Assistant Coach to Ange Postecoglou and also whether there is much more clear alignment following the additional appointments which concludes Ange's new coaching staff ahead of the new season.
John's book Revolution charts the dramatic story of Postecoglou’s instant impact on British football with Celtic and explores his life and times in the sport, through the eyes of those who know him best. Could a track record in Australian, Japanese and Scottish football transfer to the unique landscape of the English game? Would a man without a playing track record in Europe command the respect of a dressing room packed with international stars?
Examining the traits that set him apart from his playing peers and the coaching education that has prepared him for his biggest challenge, Revolution provides an insight into the making of a man and the unique football philosophy that has reinvigorated teams and transformed playing styles at a succession of clubs across the globe.
