Sarah is a writer and lives with her family in West London.
Sarah spent the early years of motherhood and marriage addicted to heroin. She lost her husband, children and home due to her addiction and talks about the judgment from others as a woman and how she overcame it. She is now over 20 years clean and is back with her family. She shares how she got back and how she manages low self esteem and negative thought patterns that brought her to using drugs and food as a coping mechanism since childhood. Sarah is currently writing a memoir about her experiences.Support the show

Asal Tehrani founded Susamusa, a 90's inspired slow fashion brand, in 2020. Susamusa uses vintage and deadstock fabric and, as a result, Tehrani says she's saved over 70 million gallons of water that would have been wasted in creating new virgin fibers.
