    May is Mental Health Awareness month in Canada, I wanted to bring attention to how important it is to manage emotional, psychological and social well-being of mental health. It is time to normalize mental health disorders such as depression, bipolar, anxiety, personality, and psychotic.   • Welcome to something familiar and something new on Metafizzical Life. Start with a guided 4-7-8 breathwork technique and stay for my sharing experience from my most recent psilocybin ceremony. 4-7-8 Breathwork technique is wonderful in promoting relaxation, reducing stress & anxiety, managing food cravings, help insomnia, regulate emotions especially anger, and over balancing the mind and body. I have done the 4-7-8 Breathwork technique way back on my first episode. Please go back and revisit the first episode!

    Practice 4-7-8 Breathwork twice a day. Once in the morning and at night. Repeat the breathwork technique 4 to 8 cycles. 4 repetitions is for beginners and 8 is for more advanced breathers.

  • 108 Mala Mantra Meditation
    Repeat the mantra Om Shrim Maha Lakshmiyei Swaha (pronounced Om Shreem Mah-hah Lahk-shmee-yea Swah-hah) for abundance and protection. Everytime you repeat a mantra or take 108 breaths it brings you closer to you inner awakening with the Universe within you. Try this mantra for 40 days and you will see significant changes in your daily life. Try listening and repeating the mantra once a day, either first thing in the morning or before you go to bed at night for the first 20 days. After 20 days of daily repetition, work up to twice daily. Morning and night or another time that is convenient.
    Straw Breathing Technique -Inhale fully through the nose. Exhale through the mouth with pursed lips, as if you are blowing air through a straw.
    Benefits of Straw Breathing: Reduce stress and reaction to stress. Improved focus & concentration. Better sleep. Quicker recovery from exercise of physical exertion.
    If you are using a mala necklace: Hold the bead closest to the tassel. Say the mantra Om Shrim Maha Lakshmiyei Swaha. Inhale through the nose. Long Exhale through the mouth by using straw breathing technique. Move thumb to the right and repeat mantra the straw breathing. Continue for the full mala necklace or 108 times. If the straw breathing technique is too difficult to do, please use a neutral, natural breath that is effortless and easy to do.

Coach Amy is a Canadian born pro female fighter who has been living overseas for 16 years. She is the owner and head coach at Empowered Clubhouse, Philippines' first and only and women's only boxing clubhouse. Amy not only empowers women but Lil' Sistas - a group of unprivileged girls, many of which are human trafficking victims. Amy created the Lil' Sistas Project, an outreach program in support of the Lil' Sistas. I sat down with Amy and talked about boxing and all things that inspire her, or made her who she is today.   • Begin by doing some EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) aka tapping or psychological acupressure, which helps to balance the energy systems by releasing negative emotions and treating pain. Using the phrase "Even though I have this (emotion/feeling) right now, I deeply and completely love and accept myself" Tapping through 14 points on the head and hand. You will feel relaxed and ready for the breathwork. 

    Breathwork is 15 minutes of Energetic Circuitry Clearing, while going through the Emotional Guidance Scale. Moving through low vibe emotions such as fear, grief, depression and powerlessness. Breath sequence works through the different levels of emotions, until high vibe emotions are reached, such as joy, appreciation, empowered, freedom and love. Emotional Guidance scale is by Abraham Hicks.
