Today we wanted to talk about anxiety. This is a really huge subject, and as such we may even break it into several spin off episodes but for today we wanted to focus on the broader aspect of Anxiety in motherhood - and what it is, and how we can learn to tame it.
Now we know, there are a lot of amazing resources for anxiety, and nervous system regulation out there, and we are not going to attempt to share or highlight them all, but instead try to give you new ways of seeing & relating to anxiety, that may shift your thinking or feelings around it.Follow Adina and Steph on instagram @adinabelloli & @holisticbysteph

We are back for season 2 of Motherhood Beyond Books and we're so excited to share more on all aspects of motherhood with you. In this episode we are talking about Empty Nest Syndrome. It's that time of year when many of you may have dropped a child off for the first time at nursery, university, or boarding school, or even just preparing for that day in the not-too-distant future. The term "empty nest syndrome" was actually first proposed back in 1914. It described the slide into depression that supposedly occurred for women after their last child left home, leaving them without the daily meaning and structure provided by their roles as mothers.
