We also zoom in on Lincoln and events that took place there, with our very own Calum Watt being elected as Councillor for Boultham Ward in Lincoln.
Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties when recording, Callum Roper’s audio was unable to be recovered. Apologies for this. While we regret his insight into the 2021 Local Elections will be lost forever, we are thankful to be able to experience his comments first-hand. In this week’s special episode, the team are joined by Val Moore, who is Women’s Officer for Lincoln Labour Party and running as candidate for Lincoln City Council. We discuss the treatment of women during the Sarah Everard Vigil, and the treatment of women as a whole in our deeply patriarchal society. We also discuss the Right to Food campaign that Val is running in a country that heavily relies on food banks and where poverty is rife.
