  • This episode is with a great church-building powerhouse of a couple, Steve and Angie Campbell. They have led the C3 Church in Cambridge (UK) for over 28 years, now a church in various locations but one that is deeply respected in the UK and around the world. Steve and Angie open up on lots of their journey including how they have navigated the 28 years from Angie becoming a co-lead pastor with Steve (paid the same wage too!), navigating tough friendship decisions, and re-inventing their leadership on multiple occasions. A brilliant couple, who have so much wisdom to give to anyone building a local church! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did chatting with them.

  • In this episode, I speak with Gavin Calver - Gavin is the CEO of the Evangelical Alliance. He has a burning passion to see the church working together to share the Gospel throughout the UK. Formerly the leader of Youth for Christ and chair of Spring Harvest, he’s an ordained evangelist and regular public speaker, and has authored six books.

Gavin talks openly about how Evangelicalism has been heavily defined by the USA and how he sees the term here in the UK and Europe. We also talk all about the church he finds himself planting, in his home with his wife and kids. Commonly known as 'micro church' Gavin explains how it works week to week the highs and lows of this relatively new journey for him and his family! We then also talk about growing up in a Christian home and how Gavin and his wife have intentionally looked at creating a home full of faith where their kids can grow up knowing Jesus.

  • This episode is an insight into the journey 3 friends took in October 2021 – Matt Hooper, Pete Gardner and Rich Martin. With decades of friendship in the bank, we decided to call each other on a WhatsApp call every day for 30 days and confess our sins to each other. We wanted to see what would happen – we had all read and heard about other people doing something similar, we all had a desire to be more open and transparent but none of us had ever done a 30-day journey like this before. We essentially wanted to see the scripture James 5:16 in action:

    James 5:16 (NIV)

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
