LucasArts was one of the most successful video game developers of the 80s and 90s, delivering several classics such as Pipe Dream (1989), The Secret of Monkey Island (1990), Day of the Tentacle (1993), and X-wing versus TIE Fighter (1997).
But in the 2000s LucasArts struggled to maintain its prominence in the industry. They came up with one of their most ambitious ideas for a game to get themselves back on track. The story of Star Wars 1313’s development is the story of the fall of LucasArts.
