This week on FGTP, we are joined by the magnificent Megan Le who you may know from ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA, ETERNALS, SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, among many others. Megan is an actor, producer, stunt performer, & all around creator. For someone who climbs metaphorical mountains, she tells us that she feels fear and does it anyways. Megan is a momma of 2 and shares her experience of loving pregnancy & allowing for a very surprising home birth adventure. I feel so inspired by Megan and the magic she creates around her; I hope you leave this episode feeling extra inspired that you can do big, scary things, just one step at a time.
Megan is the co-founder of Artists in Motion LA, which if you ever have the opportunity to volunteer with this fantastic community, I cannot recommend it enough. Follow Megan on Instagram & check out her IMDB for all the cool things you can see her in.

This week Jess is shooting a movie in Southern California and a 5 day vacation with the family in SoCal. The kiddo's first flight. Jordan traveled back solo with the kiddo. Jess stays behind to start work.
Leaving our families is rarely simple, adding in a vacation, separating our family in a different locale plus more travel, and battling guilt to go on a work adventure. Moral of the story, traveling can be oh so hard and sometimes we can over complicate the matter. This week Jess's fireside chat is loads of encouragement for the traveling parent, as well as some must have's for work travel but some tools that made traveling with the toddler very manageable.
This week we highlight Tanya Tringalli with Mother Wit Maternity! If you or a friend have a baby on the way, a perfect baby shower gift would be a month of postpartum guidance with Tanya. Check out Mother Wit Maternity and obsessed with parenting like me? You're in luck, check out the Mother Wit Podcast.

How lucky are we to have the amazing Michelle Elise Shock on today, AND BONUS, Part 2 will be coming to you next week. Back to back weeks? Come on now. Michelle is a powerhouse, and she shares her story this week. The power of claiming your life, space, how you parent, can have a major ripple effect to those around you. Michelle is my wonderful friend and I'm so happy to share her. I feel like the world gets a little better knowing that all these folks are in it. You can follow Michelle on Instagram @shellshockstunts
I am a huge fan of sharing resources with my audience, and the number one resource Michelle offers is therapy. You can read all the books, but making your mental health & toolbox more resourceful is where the real change happens.
Huge thank you to Jordan Bennett for helping with post production on this one, and for our theme music "Everything."

I was extremely inspired by a Dr Becky Kennedy episode about being everything to our kids, and I was extremely inspired. So this week, I'm using it as a springboard to chat relationships, boundaries, attachment, & allowing ourselves to be messy & imperfect. I also share some of my favorite podcasts that I listen to every week that constantly keep me on my toes and inspire me. (See links below.)
If you are feeling burnt out or not enough, I hope this episode brings you calm & community. If you have found the secret of sustainably being your family's everything, holler at me. You can send me an email or voice message at [email protected]. I would love to hear from you!

This week, Jessica has her first co-host and special episode with her husband, Jordan Bennett. Jordan is a composer, sound designer, & professional musician & primary parent at home most days. This episode took an amazing five days to record because it turns out when both parents are at their desks, the dog is going to eat muffins, you'll record at the tail end of nap times, & you'll need to have late bedtimes because editing is a task. Please join us as Jordan chats about the challenges of working from home, checking your ego at the door, & learning flexibility that allows his life & work to keep moving forward. Jordan also shares the importance of working on your mental health as a parent.
You can follow Jordan on Instagram and his IMDB. And check out our page! Freelancer's Guide to Parenting. We would love to hear from you! What was helpful from this episode? Anything resonate? Send us an email at [email protected]

There is no book on parenting, no one way street to a career, and it's about time we parent out loud and create more community. I know I have questions for my fellow parents - from kiddos to pets to aunties to folks thinking about growing their family - I want to talk to you. I'm Jessica, your friendly neighborhood stunt professional, intimacy professional, and homemade cook, and I'll be your host. I'm an introverted Aries and my friends are my life. I'm partnered and have one kiddo and two senior dogs.
I'm going to share my ups and downs, my stories, and will have mail bag episodes where I read your stories and your advice. If you want to respond to an episode or be an upcoming guest, email me at [email protected].
