Hey, fellow Apes! Welcome back to The Great Escape podcast with your favourite duo, Sam and Col. This week started with a bang – or rather, a flop – as Sam tried and failed to bring Elsa from Frozen to life. Turns out, he's better at building stock portfolios than snowmen. Col couldn’t resist breaking into "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" Any excuse to sing a song!
But let’s swing from Disney disasters to Wall Street wonders. The stock market’s been eerily calm lately – the calm before the apeocalypse, perhaps? With Sam's goblet-sized pint glass straight out of Game of Thrones, we toasted to Roaring Kitty’s cryptic tweets and Ryan Cohen’s stealthy stock manoeuvres. It’s all bananas out there, folks!
In our rapid-fire “5 in 5” segment, we tackled Netflix’s bizarre plan to open cinemas. Seriously, Netflix? What’s next, Blockbuster comeback tours? Perfect for hands-on folks like Lauren Boebert, who might need a more “interactive” cinema experience. Then we jumped into "Pelosi Watch." Nancy Pelosi’s stock picks are hotter than a meme stock in January. Move over, Wall Street; Nancy’s the real queen!
Of course, we couldn’t forget GameStop’s latest moves, the epic Apes showing in force at AMC cinemas at the weekend, and the classic market manipulation that keeps us entertained. We wrapped it all up with a toast – Sam with his BrewDog Punk IPA and me with my Aberfeldy whiskey. Here’s to unpredictability, ape-strength resilience, and the never-ending excitement of the stock jungle.

Welcome back to another rollercoaster episode of The Great EscAPE! Podcast, where Sam and Col serve up the latest Ape stock market DD (Due Diligence) & absurdities with a generous side of humour. The episode wraps up with a grab bag of hilarity, including sound effects, Joey’s Wheel of Fortune spoof, and a flood of memes. They also discuss the shareholder meeting that was derailed by technical glitches, sparking DDoS attack theories, and highlight the comedic brilliance of Ordinary Adam's relentless "Shut the f*ck up" posts aimed at Wall Street shills. It's been an interesting week, CPI rates were announced at 8.3% and the markets turned into a sea of red and have continued to do so. $1.6 trillion was wiped off the US stock market this Monday (12th September 2022) alone! The #APE battle continues and we're expecting to hear what the FTDs are going to be, this could be very very interesting!

Holy poop we're back and we've missed you all very very much!
It's been four weeks away as Sam and Col have both been on holiday and sunning it up. So much has happened during that time, both #AMC (#APE) and #GME #dividends have now been completed and the amount of crime and lies associated has got to a point of insane 'f*ck it' proportions from the Hedge funds and primes. The DTCC committed International securities fraud with GME to the way 1 million #Apes haven't received their APE stocks well over 10 days from the initial issue. Something is wrong folks, it's like these 'meme stock' conspiracy theorists might be right after all! ;)

We debated the name of our 40th episode for several seconds and decided to go with Merry Splitmas to reflect our excitement for the #GME #Stocksplit #Dividend due tomorrow.
How will it go? Will Ryan Cohen and the GME board cry foul at the fact the brokers are demanding more stocks than should be out there? Do you then in turn go and ask the #SEC what on earth is going on? Basically, is the shortin cat out of the #DFV bag! Only tomorrow will tell.
Either way, the price is wrong on both GME and #AMC and we know that. Just based on the fundamentals of both stocks, they both should be well into the $250+ range! This is all f*cked up and we genuinely believe that the GME board are still playing that amazing 4D game of chess! Excitement doesn't cover the way we feel! Merry Splitmas folks!

Everything has or is crashing! This could be it #apes! #MOASS
It's been another amazing week! Hedge funds are admitting the whole US stock market is a Ponzi scheme, interest rates get hiked by 75 bps, the most significant single raise since 1994, Crypto had $1 trillion wiped off it during the last 77 days which is the single most significant loss in recent financial history. US stocks are bleeding a 3-5% loss every day this week, and have been over the last two weeks! On Monday the 13th, all the S&P500 closed red in a single day! $VIX is up 30% in the last 5 days, Evergrande has been removed from all the ETF and financial indexes, and their sh*t bond values are now down at 0 and #FTD's have been re-submitted and they are much bigger than originally thought! Ouch! That's going to hurt!!

PING! SomeTING coming #Apes!
Like last week all the major #stonk news came all at once! It's been the same this week and the last couple of days have seen #GME and #AMC go on some nice green runs with very interesting #CTB rates!
AMC looks like it's been subjected to #Crime and #Lies and that might be related to a large amount of in-the-money option calls expiring this week.
GME on the other hand is on a run that sees next week being the earnings call and then followed by the shareholder's meeting where we are expecting to hear that GME will offer a stock split via a dividend!
If nothing else the hedge funds are in a very very difficult position. When one goes, they all do, MARGIN CALL BABY!!!!!

It's been a really interesting week for the Apes and the Stonks as a whole. The global stock market crash is coming, and we're seeing a strong correlation to the market crashes from 1929 and 2008. We're seeing the DOJ and the SEC getting their sh*t together as "Crap! Markets are crashing, look busy!" to save their own asses! Meanwhile, the Apes just chill and hold and wait for the "where is my mind" moment where it all comes crashing down aka Fight Club. Interesting times!
