Christopher A. Brooks is a professor of anthropology at Virginia Commonwealth University. He has produced numerous award-winning publications focusing on the African continental and diasporan experience. He is an internationally recognized biographer and has authored a series of books exploring the HIV pandemic in Africa and America. He is also the author of "Roland Hayes: The Legacy of an American Tenor" (with Robert Sims) and "I Never Walked Alone," with the late great opera singer Shirley Verrett.

Vicki released 2014's Psycho Sister’s first—and almost mythical--full-length recording UP ON THE CHAIR, BEATRICE, and in 2017 formed Action Skulls alongside husband John Cowsill and Bill Mumy.

ASTERISM is a three-piece instrumental heavy metal band formed in Fukuoka in 2014 consisting of HAL-CA (Guitar) MIYU (Bass), and MIO (Drums.)
Forming the band as teenagers, they quickly garnered acclaim for their exceptional technical prowess and electrifying performances.
The name "ASTERISM" signifies "a group of stars," reflecting their vision to unite their musical talents into a luminous constellation. Endorsed early on by legendary figures like producer and songwriter Bootsy Collins, ASTERISM has captivated audiences across Japan, Asia, and the U.S. Their standout performances at major events such as SXSW Music Festival, Taihu Midi Festival, and Knotfest Japan solidified their reputation. Acky Bright is a Manga Artist & Illustrator. He is known for his detailed illustrations and bold brush strokes. He is also highly regarded abroad and has created artwork for DC Comics and Hasbro, Netflix's Squid Game, McDonald's, Meta, and BMW.
ASTERISM x ACKY BRIGHT just announced and released a collaborative project called “Planet of Metal." The release includes a 7-track CD and a 28-page artwork book.

He is a USC Alumnus of the Year, an L.A. Jazz Society honoree, and a recipient of the Echo Jazz Award.
He is a founding member of the supergroup Fourplay, whose debut album went platinum topping Billboard’s Jazz Chart for 33 weeks.
His album Six String Theory, named Album of the Year by Jazziz, marked the start of his non-profit Six String Theory Competition which supports young and upcoming musicians worldwide.
Lee has recorded thousands of sessions with legends from Frank Sinatra, Barbra Streisand, and Tony Bennett to Pink Floyd, Aretha Franklin, and Carole King.
About Dave Grusin
Dave Grusin is a multi-faceted pianist, arranger, film and TV composer, and producer whose career includes an Academy Award for the feature film Milagro Beanfield War, he has received seven Academy Award nominations, 10 GRAMMY Awards, 38 GRAMMY nominations, and Golden Globe nomination for On Golden Pond.
He was also voted No. 24 as one of the Best American Film Scores of All Time by the American Film Institute.
He is the co-founder of the legendary jazz label GRP Records and the subject of a feature-length documentary entitled Dave Grusin: Not Enough Time.

Raised in New Jersey by hardworking immigrant parents, his mom was a nurse, and his dad was an engineer. Pete first began playing piano as a teenager.
At Princeton University, he distinguished himself as a math wiz with a preternatural gift for numbers.
Pete became fascinated with the connections between math and finance while working at a consulting firm headed up by a Zen Buddhist.
He created a highly successful Wall Street Business and in the mid-2000s Pete returned to the piano and began composing with the same intensity he’d brought to his work on Wall Street.
He busked in the subways, joined a weekly songwriters’ circle (which he would go on to host for five years), and even spent time studying at NYU’s Tisch School as he honed his craft, soaking up everything he could about the creative process from a broad range of artists and performers.
After releasing a pair of early albums, he got married, moved to California, returned to the business he’d founded, and became a father, but the fire in his belly never went out, and in 2014, he returned to the studio to record his third album, "Two Truths and a Lie."

As a media correspondent, Lisle has worked for many of Hollywood’s biggest events, such as the Grammys, the Academy Awards, The Golden Globes, and the Emmys.
She also doing reporting for several Japanese TV and radio shows, including the popular NHK TOKYO EYE.
Lisle’s big screening acting debut was in the Academy Award-winning film, “Lost in Translation”, with Bill Murray and Scarlet Johannson, and she also played a major role in the indie award-winning film “Kamataki”.
She has won several awards for her Japanese voice acting in the Canadian short film, “Team Teenettes”
She also does interpreting/cultural consulting for many US companies including Space X, SONY @ SXSW, Adobe, the Ladies Golf US Open, and “America’s Got Talent”.
Lisle’s latest passion is her new podcast, " Adventures of a Blonde Geisha”, where she talks about her experiences growing up and working in Japan as well as has guests on the show to talk about everything from growing up a TCK (third culture kid) to voice acting to working in the entertainment biz.
