In the recent election, people were captivated by either Mark Carney or Pierre Poilievre - but one thing was for certain-everyone was sick of Justin Trudeau and his woke government. However, now that the election is over it seems that people have stopped holding the Federal Government to account on a daily basis. Some former Trudeau cabinet ministers are holding plum positions that could pose a real danger to middle class Canadians. Anita Anand is the minister who ordered tampon dispensers in every male washroom in the military. Steven Guilbeault, the minister who was trying to force Canadians to drive electric cars, is now in charge of censorship. Sean Fraser, the former minister of immigration, is the Attorney- General. We need to watch - and yes - we should give Carney the benefit of the doubt… but we need to stand on guard.

Leger Polling recently asked Canadians if they considered the United States an enemy - and a surprising number of people (30%) responded “yes”. The continued and erratic threats and tariffs coming from south of the border have been raining chaos on the Canadian economy. Meanwhile in Canada, we had a first ministers meeting that is easily the most successful in the past decade. We could be witnessing the erasure of inter-provincial trade barriers. Is this a glimmer of hope that the Canadian economy can get on track? Andrew Enns is the Executive Vice President at Leger - he joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.

Canadians rejoiced when they saw relief at the pumps with the axing of the Carbon Tax. But there is more at play than taxes. The gasoline market is run in the United States - and the drop in the Canadian dollar is negatively affecting the price of gas. Supply is lower - and demand is higher. Dan McTeague joins Stephen LeDrew to try to maybe share a glimmer of hope… for Three Minutes.

Now that we have decided that we were “afraid” of Pierre Poilievre, it’s time to take a sober look at the leader we elected. Mark Carney - who called the Freedom Convoy protestors ‘seditious’ - who has said he’s going to fast track infrastructure projects “as long as they adhere to the previous government’s idea of green standards”… or as stated in his book “believes in an open market… as long as it is approved by him”. Joanna Baron is the Executive Director of the Canadian Constitution Foundation - she joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.

King Charles has read the Throne Speech - and Parliament resumed for the first time since Justin Trudeau defied the Speaker’s order to reveal documents in the Green Slush Fund Scandal last fall. The political landscape has changed so much it is unrecognizable…but will Mark Carney be able to deliver the change he has promised? To some, it looks like he has talked up a big game, with no discernable plan to deliver the goods. Dan McTeague is a former Liberal MP - he joins Stephen LeDrew to discuss how things are looking in Ottawa today.

The Throne Speech was recently delivered by the new Liberal Government. But wait a minute… this speech could have been written by a Progressive Conservative! Obviously Mark Carney is the opposite of everything that Justin Trudeau stood for. So was Justin Trudeau really a Liberal? Or a socialist just using the Liberal Party! And if things are so different, why are there so many former Trudeau ministers in his cabinet? Andrew Perez is a Liberal Strategist - he joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.

Canadian History has been under attack for the past several years. There is an obsession from woke left ideologues that we must “de-colonize” Canada. And that anything having to do with the creation of our country is inherently bad. But as the depth of cultures in Canada continues to grow can we get to a point where we can accept the fact that your history - is probably going to piss off someone else. Christopher Dummitt is a Canadian History Professor at Trent University - and he is the host of a new YouTube channel called “Well, That Didn’t Suck!”. He joins Stephen LeDrew to discuss this for Three Minutes.

Canada has become a security risk in the world. We are being excluded in security and military strategy by countries that have long been allies - like the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia. Who can blame them? Thanks to woke immigration policies and lax policing this country is a playground for foreign bad actors. Poor background checks have allowed hundreds of terrorists into the country - and a catch and release justice system makes sure that criminals remain free. Joe Adam George is a Research Analyst on National Security and Foreign Policy with the Macdonald Laurier Institute - he joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.

Mark Carney has boasted that he’s going to make Canada’s economy the strongest in the G7. But when he unveiled his cabinet it contained many discredited Trudeau faces. Some people are cynical that this is simply another version of the Trudeau Government - Ministers such as Steven Guilbeault, Mélanie Joly, Chrystia Freeland, FP Champagne, Anita Anand, Sean Fraser, are all holding major portfolios. Is there anything to be hopeful for? Patrick Gossage is the former press secretary to Pierre Elliott Trudeau - and he joins Stephen LeDrew to offer some insight into what is going on in Ottawa for Three Minutes.

The old adage of you reap what you sow is especially true for the NDP. A party that once spoke to the working man has been infiltrated by woke elite nincompoops who care more for their woke notion of virtue than reality. Even Jagmeet Singh didn’t win his own seat - but who can blame NDP voters for shifting to the Liberals or Conservatives - The Singh NDP propped up a corrupt Liberal government for years - and even the Unions are starting to throw their support behind the Conservatives. It’s going to be a long road to rebuild the party - André Proulx is an NDP supporter and the Producer of this Channel - he joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.

Bryan Gould, the CEO of Aspenleaf Energy Limited, shares some opinions about climate change and how to live with it. He joins Stephen LeDrew to discuss this for Three Minutes.

The Government signed a warrant during the election that saw 40 billion dollars leave the coffers. Among this spending was an additional $150 million for the CBC,and more for CN Rail, Parks Canada … This occurred, but nowhere was this reported in the legacy media. How can we continue to allow Government to waste our money with no accountability? Earlier this week Mark Carney revealed his choices of whom to be in cabinet. Many of these ministers were the kingpins in Trudeau’s Government. But it appears that Carney may allow each ministry to operate under its own steam - unlike Trudeau who controlled every aspect of Ottawa through his unelected advisors. So-lots to be concerned about - but let’s give them a chance to prove themselves different… Canadians really want, and deserve, a government that works.

We know that The Chinese Communist Party loves to interfere in Canadian elections - we have discussed its influence with Canadian elections and candidates often in the past year. Will Mark Carney do anything to stop this from happening? Dean Baxendale is the CEO and President of Optimum Publishing - he joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.

A cornerstone of the trade war with the United States has centred around the Auto Industry in Canada. Is it time for Canada to admit that this industry is leaving Canada? It seems that it stays afloat thanks to government subsidies - and we all remember the bailout packages in the last economic downturn. But are we able to replace all these manufacturing jobs? Catherine Swift is the President of the Coalition of Concerned Manufacturers and Businesses of Canada - she joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.

We have a crisis in our healthcare system - so imagine an activist judge forcing the Province of Ontario to pay for a gender reassignment surgery in Texas that allows a person to keep their male organs and have female genitals added (somewhere)! All the while we have to suffer with waiting lists a mile long, and hallway medicine. Wait! There is more–the Ontario Government is trying to deal with gridlock and safety by removing underused, and misplaced bike lanes - only to be stopped by an activist judge. How about keeping street drug providers near schools! This is the insanity taking place in our democracy. Appointed judges are nullifying decisions made by duly-elected officials.

It is clear that both Trudeaus - Pierre and Justin - were good at one thing … alienating Western Canada. In his victory speech Mark Carney talked about how he was going to win back Western Canada. The Trudeau Liberals were hell bent on stopping and punishing anyone who wanted to stick a shovel in the ground to make Canada prosperous. Will we see an about face from Carney? Marc Kealey is a bigshot Liberal - he joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.

Now that we can take a moment to reflect on the election that recently passed, we need to ask the question - Is there a bright future for the Conservative party? This is the party that has now lost four elections in a row… and in the most recent one, blowing a 25 point lead in the polls! Is this just the Trump factor? Or are the Conservatives out of touch with the majority of Canadians? John Capobianco is a bigshot Conservative - he joins Stephen LeDrew for Three Minutes.
