Electric paramotors are unquestionably bad ass! I consider myself very fortunate to have recorded this episode with Paul Whitehead, the owner and founder of OpenPPG. The number one electric Paramotor industry is the SP140. Truth be told, I've spent a lot of time considering getting one of them, but I figured I would reach out to Paul to get a deep dive on the pros and cons of his creation. One of the great things about Paul is that he doesn't pretend as though his ePPG is perfect. That said, he's proud to discuss the incredible things that electric motors in general have to offer their owners.
Special thank you to everyone who is a supporter of the show! There are several necessary expenses that I must pay for every month to keep this show on the air.

Super Trevor hangs out with Clint and Anthony to share a juicy story on coming up in the sport with Super Dell Schanze! He says, "you were either with him or against him," and that now he is a sworn enemy. Drama aside, Trevor has grown into a very talented pilot who is building a school of his own that takes the good and avoids the bad attributes that he learned from Super Training.
IN OTHER NEWS: Thank you for your patience in getting this episode out to all of you. Our dearly loved friend, Lee Boone, passed away in a tragic flying accident at the start of this month. Yesterday, we laid him to rest. There never was or will be a better role model to our local flying community. Not just in paramotoring; He was a beautiful sole with an intense devotion to God. We love you, Lee.

The list of injuries he's sustained over 2 decades of skydiving and paramotoring is extensive, and his recollection of the events will having you laughing out loud. Between monthly subscriptions, podcast equipment, and hours arranging, recording, and editing, It’s very costly to keep the show on the air. Several businesses within the paramotor community have offered to pay my expenses for the show in exchange for promoting their product or services, but that doesn’t sit right with me when a large portion of the listeners have never flown before. Products and services should be promoted based on their merit because that’s what’s in the best interest of our listeners.

The very talented young paramotor instructor from England walks me through how to perform a SAT (spiraling backwards) but encourages people to seek proper training at an SIV clinic! Through trial and error, Oscar has learned a lot.

Nope! This isn't a paramotor, but it's similar. Giles Fowler has stepped off from powered paragliders and into the world of flying powered delta wings (think hang gliders)! "They're not better, just different." Admittedly, I would love to try out one of these flying contraptions. How about you?

No one has ever produced more stunning footage of paramotors, nor has anyone created so an emotional response from the viewers. He has withnessed a lot (crashes, death, and glory), and weighs in on the risk and reward of flying paramotors.

Travis Burns is top instructor in paramotoring. He also loves Tom Cruise...yeah. I love this episode of The Paramotor Podcast. He's also the US importer for Fly Products, who we've had on the show before, and breaks down the lineup of trikes and footlaunch units that they offer. Most importantly, he dives into the philosophy of teaching people how to fly; It's incredible!

Trikes are better in many ways! But there are some disadvantages as well. In this episode, I am joined by my Swedish friend, Navid Saleki, who fills me in on all of the things that I should consider when it comes to flying trikes!

Paramotors are fairly simple flying machines. Some like it that way, while others want to add a little flair (literally sometimes) to their paramotor or helmet. Ryan Roberts joins us to share how he's been filling the demand with the products he and his business partners have been designing at PPG Smoke.
