Julian Assange is expected to return to Australia a free man, after reaching a plea deal with the United States Department of Justice.
Since 2012 the WikiLeaks founder has been evading extradition from both Sweden and the US.
So why now could we see Assange essentially a free man? And what has to take place in order for that to happen?

Have you heard of the 78’ers? They’re the group people who first marched through the streets of Sydney in celebration of the queer community.
Unfortunately, not everyone was keen to partake in the partying, resulting in arrests, protests and violence.
Almost 50 years on from the very first Sydney Gay & Lesbian Made Gras and where are we at? We ask some of those original 78’ers their thoughts on just how far we’ve come.
