The summer series roles on, this time Jacob Bigelow welcomes SEC associate commissioner for men's basketball Garth Glissman. Garth's story is a very unique one. A native Nebraskan, in college he was a walk-on basketball player and quarterback at Nebraska. What happened after he graduated law-school is a great story. Now, after working for the NBA for 7 years, Garth is now entering his second season overseeing men's basketball for the SEC. Discussion topics include: Garth's basketball origin story, going from a volunteer high school head coach to working for the NBA, traveling to SEC towns, coaches in the SEC, building a conference schedule, when did the switch flip with high school basketball in Nebraska, and more.

Jacob Bigelow welcomes Ball State Men's Basketball head coach Michael Lewis to the podcast to kick of a summer series of pods catching up with old friends and introducing some new ones. Coach Lewis is entering his 3rd season as the head coach at Ball State and was an assistant coach for 18 years prior including stops at UCLA, Nebraska, and Butler. Before getting into coaching he played 4 seasons at Indiana for Bob Knight and left IU as the school’s all time assist leader.
