Surprise, here's a new episode of The Twilight Highlight Zone with Jeff Cork and Ben Hanson! Years ago, we hosted this podcast where we debated and dissected each and every episode of the classic TV show The Twilight Zone and now we've come back from the dead to give you a most unusual new episode. We were contacted by Brandon Cruz, who hosts another Twilight Zone podcast called Submitted For Your Approval, and he asked us if we'd want to record a cross-over episode where we take a closer look at the episode A Most Unusual Camera. Since Jeff Cork and I had zero strong feelings about the episode, we couldn't resist another look. We hope you enjoy this fun episode, and be sure to check out Brandon's podcast or just send him some thanks over Twitter. Also, check out our ongoing other podcast where we break down every album from the band AFI for some reason!
Listen to the podcast below (or subscribe to us on iTunes) to hear us reflect on the comedic tale of A Most Unusual Camera.

Hello Twilight Zone fans! Jeff Cork and I haven't forgotten about you, we promise. I don't know how to break it to you, but there's somebody else. We'll always have feelings toward you, but there's a hot new love in our life, and it's the band AFI. We wanted to make sure fans of The Twilight Highlight Zone podcast know that we started a spiritual-successor podcast that breaks down each and every album of the band AFI. It's called A Fire Inside Out and it's available on iTunes. It's a fun romp chronicling a drastically changing band full of plenty of entertaining tangents, so give it a listen even if you don't know or care about the specific band. Anyway, we'll see you in the new podcast feed! Thanks!

And we're back! I'm not sure if you recall, but fellow editor Jeff Cork and I recorded ourselves debating and dissecting each and every episode of the classic TV show The Twilight Zone. It took us a while to get back to it, but this is our first "bonus" episode of the podcast that goes above and beyond the original series. In 1983, and presumably made with the best intentions, Steven Spielberg produced a full-length movie dedicated to The Twilight Zone. Divided into four segments, mostly consisting of remakes of classic episodes, the movie has its highs and lows and is ripe for discussion. Feel free to watch the movie before you listen (it's available for streaming on Amazon) and join in on the dumb fun.
Listen to the podcast below (or subscribe to us on iTunes) to hear us review and analyze each segment of Twilight Zone: The Movie in this extra long bonus episode of our podcast.

Well we did it. I'm sorry that it took so long for us to record and post this final episode, but we've finally come to the end of The Twilight Zone road. In our grand finale (not counting the bonus episodes that are on the way), Jeff Cork and I comb through all 156 episodes of the classic show and dish out some damning and praising awards. If you need a refresher on what we've been up to, our last episode was a recap and contains links to every episode of the podcast that we've recorded. So what is the best episode of The Twilight Zone? What is the worst? What's the dumbest thing from the entire series? Find out all that and more in our final awards show, which we lovingly call the "Mega-Franklins". Let us know what you think of our categories and winners in the comments below.

Look, I know we promised that today we'd be unleashing our Mega-Franklins that awarded the best and worst episodes for the entire run of the series, but we needed a little more time to make it the greatest podcast in recorded history. Instead, we decided to give you this fun bonus episode. After recording The Franklins for the fifth season, I kept the mics rolling as I surprised Jeff Cork with a pop quiz. I read off the title for all 156 episodes of The Twilight Zone to test how well we remember this show that we've devoted so much time to studying and debating. You can listen to the podcast below or subscribe to us on iTunes. Stay tuned next week for our ultimate awards show, it'll be fun. I hope this episode serves as a nice reminder of some episodes you might have forgotten.

Well we may have run out of new episodes of the original Twilight Zone, but that can't stop us from recording our dumb voices. Jeff Cork and I are capping off the fifth and final season of the show with our prestigious awards show. Which episodes will we hold above our heads and celebrate and which will we cast down into the dirt, forever to be forgotten? What is the best machine from the fifth season? Which episode's plot is needlessly complicated? Which great episode gets royally screwed due to our arbitrary rules? Find out by listening to the podcast below and feel free to subscribe to us on iTunes. Don't forget that we're on the hunt for new categories for our next episode, which will be an awards show for the entire five seasons. It's going to be a monster. Holy smokes, we did it! This episode of the Twilight Highlight Zone marks the end of the fifth and final season of The Twilight Zone. If you've been watching along with us, that means that you can now say that you've watched all 156 episodes of one of the most well-known TV shows around. Did it end with a bang or a whimper? Check out this episode of the podcast to hear our thoughts.
The final season had 36 episodes, so we're recapping six shows this week instead of our usual five. Think of that extra one as a bonus. Well, it's a bonus unless you realize that it's The Bewitchin' Pool. Bleargh.
We'll be back in two weeks with our special season-five installment of our Franklin Awards, which highlights the best, worst, and weirdest parts of the season. After that, we're going to do a series-wide special Franklin Award blowout, covering the entire run of the show. Leave your suggestions for categories in the comments, and we'll give you a shout-out (and our undying love). If you need to catch up on our podcast, you can subscribe to it on iTunes.

We're close. We're so close to the finish line we can taste it. Unfortunately, that finish line only exists... in the twilight zone. Alongside my buddy Jeff Cork, I'm running down the classic version of The Twilight Zone and blathering on about every detail. We're on the home stretch with the fifth season, and this is the second-to-last recap episode. This is an interesting block of episodes, with hangings, dummies, and dim-witted assassins. Listen to the podcast below or subscribe to us on iTunes to find out.
The podcast above covers the following episodes from the fifth season...
26. I Am The Night, Color Be Black
27. Sounds And Silences
28. Caeser And Me
