Throughout the years people from all around the world have contributed with their knowledge to it. Competetative vaulting as it is today has it's roots in Germany and with over 400 active clubs Germany is considered as the Mecca of vaulting which makes it easy to understand that there is a market for this kind of magazine entirely in german. Besides the production of the magazine the association does get involved with active vaulters through supporting them with different rewards and through their activity in social media. This they do through their instragram- and facebook account, but also through their own vaulting podcast in german called "Volticast". To receive the magazine and make use of all the other advantages you need to be a member of the association. And they do send the magazine to other countries then Germany as well. Besides the magazine and supporting the vauting community in various ways members can find a lot of recorded videos from vaulting competitons on the homepage. All for only 46€/year.
About Felix: he has his background in the vaulting scene in Germany and has also a widely spread network in the community. He has been a vaulter and a vaulting trainer himself, bit nowadays he contributes his voluntary work in his freetime to the association. Not only as a chairman, but also as a producer of the magazine. His "real" job is working as a speech therapist. In this episode we talk about everything in between having heavy metal or teddybears as a theme for a freestyle.
