OUR GUEST IS THE BRILLIANT KATHERINE RAMSLAND.
Elmer Wayne Henley, Jr. was only fourteen when he first became entangled with serial rapist and murderer Dean Corll in 1971. Fellow Houston, Texas, teenager David Brooks had already been ensnared by the charming older man, bribed with cash to help lure boys to Corll's home. Corll baited Henley with the same deal he'd given Brooks: $200 for each boy they could bring him.
Henley didn't understand the full extent of what he had signed up for at first. But once he started, Corll convinced him that he had crossed the line of no return and had to not only procure boys but help kill them and dispose of the bodies, as well. When Henley first took a life, he felt doomed. By the time he was seventeen, he'd helped with multiple murders and believed he'd be killed, too. But on August 8, 1973, he picked up a gun and shot Corll. When he turned himself in, Henley showed police where he and Brooks had buried Corll's victims in mass graves.
The Serial Killer's Apprentice tells the story of Corll and his accomplices in its fullest form to date. It also explores the concept of "mur-dar" (the predator's instinct for exploitable kids), current neuroscience about adolescent brain vulnerabilities, the role of compartmentalization, the dynamic of a murder apprenticeship, and how tales like Henley's can aid with early intervention.

The Largest True Crime Arson Case in America’s History
In this astounding true crime narration a conspiracy of nine men, including three Boston cops and a Boston firefighter, burned Boston and surrounding communities in the early 1980’s due to tax-cutting measures that caused layoffs of hundreds of police and firefighters.
The case was covered by national media in the early to mid-1980s. Over two years, these fire buffs, turned arsonists, torched 264 buildings, causing millions of dollars in damages and hundreds of injuries. The city was ablaze with nightly fires, sirens wailing through the streets and people too afraid to sleep.
Burn Boston Burn interweaves the activities of the arsonists with those of the investigators, the firefighters and the citizens of the area. Readers will shake their heads in disbelief at the brazen and wanton actions of these political terrorists.
The author, now retired ATF Special Agent Wayne Miller, lived this case for three years. A TV cameraman helped break the case when one of the cops waved his gun in the air at a massive fire as if he were at a rodeo. The case included a stolen police car dumped in Boston Harbor, a threat letter consisting of cut-out letters and plans to murder witnesses. After the Boston Police Officer/arsonist became a witness, 17 undercover contacts were used to perfect a Federal case.
Agent Miller spent innumerable hours with those perpetrators who became Government witnesses. An arsonist’s journal provided the basis for chilling insights into their words, actions and thoughts. Mr. Miller now has regular contact with that arsonist who has provided additional information in support of Burn Boston Burn: The Largest Arson Case in the History of the Country. Every firefighter who has heard of the story wants to read about it. Anyone interested in true crime, investigative procedures, the inner workings of a criminal conspiracy and fires will want to read this book.
Available in Kindle, paperback, hardback and audiobook.

The land of milk and honey, streets paved with gold, and a place your dreams can come true are the illusions of Orange County. But, when you cross to the other side, The Dark Side, life is quite different. On the dark side, allowances given are lines of cocaine. Drive-by shootings are a daily occurrence, and parents are not the protectors but the ones who send you out to score for them.
This was Christopher Curtis’ life. Taking the reader to some of his earliest memories and on through his third strike prison sentence, this book is gritty and realistic.
All the systems in place to help the kids who fall through the cracks failed Christopher. As he matures, the addiction, crimes, and lifestyle accelerate and degrade. The book contains the despair that, at times, Christopher did not even realize was part of his day. The ups and downs of drugs. The using and selling, the getting away with and being punished for his crimes. The community that revolves around an addict is all exposed in plain language, the original written by Christopher on a typewriter.
What do you do when the deck is not only stacked against you but reinforced with concrete? Survival is the only goal. And survive is what Christopher did. He is here to tell the tale with the hope that someone also on the Dark Side of their street catches a glimpse of themselves and can see the way to a better life.

Highly praised author of SENTENCE: 10 YEARS AND 1,000 BOOKS IN PRISON.
In 2001, Genis traded in his publishing career for a life of crime to feed a raging heroin appetite. His taste for the illegal substance (costing Genis $100 per day) led him to embark on a string of robberies in order to pay his debts.[6] The month-long robbery spree centered around the Lower East Side, Greenwich Village, Chelsea, Gramercy Park, and the Financial District.[7] Nicknamed the "apologetic bandit" by the press, Genis offered apologies to his victims as he took their cash and returned their wallets.[8] His 18 robberies accounted for $700 in total.[9]
During one week in 2003, Genis committed five robberies. In November of the same year, he was identified by one of his victims, arrested, and eventually convicted of five counts of armed robbery, for which he served 10 years in prison.[10]

O.J. Simpson -- black sports star celebrity accused of killing his estranged white wife and a nice Jewish boy returning the glasses she forgot at a restaurant. Add one racist detective obsessed with Mrs Simpson who stalks her like a jealous school boy and parks outside her house at night to see who comes and goes, and despite the bloody violence of the murders, there is no blood on OJ, nor in the plumbing or his home or on his clothes, in fact, the only blood are drops proven planted by someone from the LAPD. We all watched the trial on TV except for those select few such as FRANK C GIRARDOT JR. who covered the trial live from the courtroom as it happened. FRANK JOINS US FOR A FASCINATING HOUR.

Bloodstains is the startling tale of one man’s search for the truth after inheriting the personal diaries belonging to his great-great-grandfather who, he discovers, was America’s first and most notorious serial killer Herman Webster Mudgett. Better known by his alias H.H. Holmes, Mudgett was the mass murderer who struck terror in the nation by being the proprietor of the infamous Murder Castle and stalking the streets of Chicago during the 1893 World’s Fair.
During his incarceration awaiting execution, well over a century ago, Holmes admitted killing 27 innocent victims, but the evidence the author locates indicates hundreds more likely. From his investigation, Jeff Mudgett, the direct descendant, learns that Holmes’ reign of terror was worldwide and not limited to Chicago as has been so widely believed. Based upon never-before-revealed historical facts, Jeff pieces together a dynamic and extraordinary puzzle, including the strong possibility that Holmes was also Jack the Ripper.
Far more than a documentary, Bloodstains is precariously balanced on the very edge between non-fiction and the paranormal, as the author’s research of his evil ancestor quickly takes on a personal aspect. Jeff soon fears that his efforts may have awakened the legendary "Holmes Curse" of the 1890s - the one investigated and written about by most of the nation’s major publications, including The New York Times.
In fact, the deeper he digs into Holmes’ devilish past, the stronger the monster’s hold on him seems to become, testing the limits of his own sanity as well as humanity. Racked by a mysterious and never before experienced epilepsy, Jeff suffers crippling grand mal seizures whenever he disobeys the haunting voices in his head. Finally, with nowhere else to turn, Jeff is forced to make the decisions of his genetic lifetime in a life-or-death struggle in order to win the greatest prize of all: his survival.

Our good friend Hart Fisher returns for the first time in 14 years! He would be pissed at Netflix but he's making money -- details on the renewed interest in his Jeffery Dahmer comics and more in part one of our talk with horror and true crime pioneer Hart D. Fisher, the man behind AMERICAN HORRORS where you can still see Burl Barer and Don Woldman on True Crime TV.
During the ’90s Hart D. Fisher was dubbed the “most dangerous man in comics” and for good reason. He was constantly fighting against the mainstream corporatization of the comic book industry and wasn’t afraid to ruffle a few feathers in the process. He was the man responsible for creating the infamous “Marvel Can Suck My Cock” t-shirt, and his body of work through Boneyard Press consistently pushed the comics medium into an adult art form, before it became acceptable for creators to release anything considered risqué. In fact just last year, Fisher’s “Jeffrey Dahmer: An Unauthorized Biography of a Serial Killer” ranked #3 on Bloody-Disgusting’s list of “Top 10 Legitimately Terrifying Horror Comics”. Fisher’s impact on the world of horror comics can still be felt in some of the books being produced today.
Fisher’s passion for the horror genre has only grown stronger since his departure from the comic book world. For the past few years, Fisher has been focused on developing and expanding his 24 hour uncut horror channel American Horrors, which is currently broadcast for free online.
