Janae Darby is a junior at Washington and Lee University who traveled to 42 countries and all 50 states. She's majoring in Economics with minors in Middle East and South Asia Studies and Poverty and Human Capabilities Studies. Haley Minnery is a sophomore at Washington and Lee University from Northern Virginia. She studied in a fully immersive program in Costa Rica and is fluent in Spanish. Even though she's American, Haley is highly involved in multicultural events on campus and is friends with many international students. She has the unique experience of both, being an international student and observing one getting settled in a new country because she has been Veronika's roommate since their freshman year.
