Once upon a time in Ibadan when there was an uprise of crime in the city. An unknown Bus dropped a coffin in a police station and drove off. The Coffin! The beginning of a crime story.

This is an epistle of insoluble suspense for the less conscious mind to, listen to, & learn.
Poem Title: Black Sky. -
This is an epistle of insoluble suspense for the less conscious mind to watch, listen, & learn.
Poem Title: Black Sky.And the light shineth in darkness,
And the darkness comprehended it,
Over and over again,
The sky is black.Illuminating the Old wives’ tale,
About the trajectory from slavery,
To emancipating freedom,
Under a black sky.It came at a cost,
With radical regime changes,
Uprisings bringing out the beast in us,
The sky was black. We were not afraid to fight,
For our freedom and liberty,
The heavenly host marched with us,
From the black sky. With a wave of struggles,
Victory only came through emancipation,
We sang the independence song,
To the black sky.We sang the Lord a new song,
A song of praise to our God,
A joyful noise to the rock of our salvation,
Under the black sky.But were we free?
Did we emancipate ourselves?
From internal slavery?
The sky is still black.Has anything changed?
Sorrows, tears, & blood,
To the old rugged cross, I cling,
The sky is black.Poem By: Winsala Gbotemi

This is an epistle of insoluble suspense for the less conscious mind to watch, listen, & learn.
Poem Title: Black Sky.Dear Black Sky,
I heard the warcry of my forefathers,
Yes, their call to arms,
Their call to saving Africa!Nobody could keep their eyes off you,
Your sky was bright and clear blue,
At first sight, we fell in love, Oh Africa,
We said, “Finally we are independent Mama!”
We chanted to liberation but then you soured. When will it dawn?
I said, “when will you dawn?”
Will you forever be dark?
What happened to your bright blue?
What mask wore this independent beauty?I remember when you came alight,
Everybody looked up to you for light,
Oh, how magnificent was your sight,
Our stars and sun settled on you for shine,
Little waters gathered onto mighty cloud nine.Sadly In our jubilation, you were possessed,
As we chanted “FREEDOM” your blue erased,
Your darkness is a fright greater than our duty,
If the lions that guard us tremble at your storm,
Then we are not Free, this is Dom!Under the Black Sky,
Lies unending wars and forces,
Dashed hopes and scattered resources,
Corrupted minds that we cannot escape,
Murdered heroes and a silenced map.Dark after dark I hear of abominations,
My ears are itching, these eyes are burning,
Just when we were about to quench thirst,
And secure a little light to go by these nights,
Your lighting struck and broke our hearts. In darkness, sickness, and poverty we cry,
For our vast lands have become dry,
Knowledge seems quite useless now,
For what can a bright mind do?
How, under the Black Sky?It is you who holds all power,
It is you who bound our colour,
Yes you, who looks down upon us in this dark,
Shall we mourn forever?
When will it dawn Black Sky?Poem By: Majorie Nozithelo Dube
