This narrative sermon brings to life the clash between the Israelite army (under the command of Barak) and the technologically superior
Canaanites (under the command of Sisera), recorded in Judges 4 and celebrated in poetry in Judges 5 (see also Psalm 83:9–10 and
Hebrews 11:32). The battle took place in the 13th century BC and coincided with the close of the Bronze Age and the dawn of the Iron Age.
First delivered on Women's Day, the sermon spotlights two fascinating women of scripture whose destinies intersect with the two
commanders. Yet beyond the history lie timeless truths for Christian believers today, whose battles are not fought with swords but in the spirit (Ephesians 6). Join us as we uncover enduring principles for courage, faith, and victory in life's unseen conflicts.

It's all too easy to be dissappointed after receiving a prophetic word from perhaps years ago, and still finding that we're not living in that word? Instead stop looking inwards and look to God!
What does God want to be central in our lives - to be caught up with Jesus.
