  • ep 71. meet the wonderful, Cami Nwokedi, business woman, creator, and my friend. as two girls who just want to do it all, we have had to learn how to slow down and care for ourselves when everything gets overwhelming because sometimes you really have to do less, to do more. today’s episode is a soul-filling conversation about embracing the imperfection of our journeys, navigating busy seasons of life, deepening connections with ourselves and others, knowing who you are and so so so much more. i hope this conversation is as healing for you as it was for me.

  • ep 70. today I wanted to dive into this idea that every one of us already are the people we want to become, we just might need a little help believing it for ourselves. I was recently told this and it resonated with me so deeply that I had to share my thoughts with you all. in this episode I talk through my thoughts and feelings on this concept and how I’ve been going about believing it and implementing it into my own life and my own growth journey. this episode is imperfect and I definitely don’t have all the answers, but I hope together we can learn and accept that showing up imperfectly is a completely normal and necessary part of life! sending love, as always.

    steps I’m taking:

accept the way you are now & meet yourself with compassionconsume less to give yourself space to be youattend to your needs with curiosity, not judgmentlet the parts of you led by fear fall back, and the parts of you led by authenticity come forwardspeak to yourself like you are already the person you want to be, in a nurturing & kind way

I love how authentic and real emily is, you will hear it how it is, and I so so appreciate that and our friendship. hope you all enjoy as much as I did.
