    * “The most important club for me, probably in my bag, is this A grind. I use the SM9 60 degree A grind, which is a low bounce 60, which I think is very versatile. And I'm able to – on tight lies, rough, wet lies, firm lies, whatever it is – I can hit the shot I want. And with the amount of spin I want, trajectory and everything. So these SM9s are I think the best wedges ever made.”

    * Said Vokey Rep Aaron Dill on Clark’s lob wedge: “The 60A was a co-design project with Geoff Ogilvy. That's how it started. It was based off of Australian Sand Belt golf courses – firm and tight. It's essentially an L grind with a ribbon removed, a smooth, fast moving wedge. It's a really low bounce, close sitting wedge, built for firm and fast conditions.”

  • The Masters!

Jon Rahm plays brilliantly on the final day to claim his first Green Jacket and second major.

LIV players perform well with 3 players in the top 5.

    Rory missed the cut again!

Mickelson found the fountain of youth on Sunday.

    Notable details

Rahm returns to the top of the Official World Golf Ranking with his win at Augusta, climbing from third to first to displace 2022 Masters winner Scottie Scheffler at the summit.

He is the second player to double-bogey the first hole of his opening round at the Masters and then go on to win, joining Sam Snead (1952).

Rahm becomes the fourth Spaniard to celebrate victory at the Masters, following in the footsteps of two-time winners Seve Ballesteros and José María Olazábal, and Sergio Garcia.

He has also now won four titles in 2023, having already won the Sentry Tournament of Champions, the American Express and the Genesis Invitational earlier this season on the PGA TOUR.

The Spaniard’s success came 40 years after Ballesteros’ second Masters win in 1983.

Rahm’s Augusta triumph came on what would have been Ballesteros’ 66th birthday.

    Masters Rahm numbers
    - ranking second in the field in Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee

    - Rahm hit more than 85% of his fairways while averaging more than 295 yards off the tee, the first Masters champion to do that since stats were first tracked in detail forty years ago.

Only three other players in history have come from multiple shots back through 54 holes to win both the U.S. Open and the Masters: Gene Sarazen (1922 U.S. Open, 1935 Masters), Byron Nelson (1937 Masters, 1939 U.S. Open), Jack Nicklaus (1962 U.S. Open, 1986 Masters).
