Why would you put on paper the darkest moments of your life for the whole world to read? Pretty vulnerable, pretty scary, you'd have to be a little crazy to do it? Well, what I've realized after years of working in the health industry and battling mental health issues, is that this book represents the common human experiences of mental health. But it also shows a clinically proven pathway to heal.
You see concussion is like the human experience of anxiety, depression, rage, grief, broken relationships and lost identity put into one person. Not all people with brain injuries suffer as I did, but many do.
So the book has become about more than me. It has become about helping the one person, or the one family to learn about how to grow through all of these difficulties.
Launching on the 10th March on Amazon, let's grow in the dirt together. Please share if you know someone who needs help growing in the dirt today.
