This month we celebrate the International Girl Child and the launch of the first-ever children’s focused podcast—CARRUURTEENNA—which presents issues that affect children in Somalia.
In our first episode, we dedicate it to International Girl Child Day and focus on girls’ education in Puntland. We speak to Shamso, who is a young girl attending one of the schools in Puntland. We are also joined by a teacher in Shamso’s school, Save the Children, and experts from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Puntland.
