The new-age & holistic wellness world is all about love, light, authenticity and wellness for all, right? Not always. Love & Light Confessionals, formerly Kumbaya Confessional, is the insider exposé on the bizarre epidemics of the crunchy hippie world: cults, spiritual charlatans, toxic positivity culture, illegal pyramid schemes, fad diets and more.

When it comes to managing and navigating emotions, Jemma is your lady. Back in 2011, she walked away from a 35-year life sentence with depression and since then has made it her mission in life to rid herself of her depressive and negative mindset, habits, and behavior patterns. It has not always been easy, but every step has been rewarding.
As a successful businesswoman, Jemma hid behind the mask of success and a busy lifestyle. But when work was over, she had to face herself and her thoughts.
Her thoughts controlled her emotions and her emotions dictated her actions, habits, and behavior patterns.
Choosing life meant every part of her linked to her depressive triggers had to be destroyed in exchange for a completely new start, living life, experiencing the reality of her desires and being rebirthed.
Since her rebirth, Jemma has used her journey and story to inspire, help, and support others on their freedom to emotional well-being journey.
This podcast is for individuals surrounded by a crowd, yet isolated and led by their emotions. Secretly suffering bouts of depression and emotionally demotivated, they may even be in denial. Mentally strong but emotionally weak, they lack the tools to address, identify, or manage their thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
What makes us think and behave the way we do and how can we change and undo negative behaviour and thinking patterns? -

Are you in or near your 40s and want to be confident in your body instead of self-conscious in your clothes hiding behind everyone in photos? Do you wish you could be a healthy mom and have more energy as a Christian woman? Have you gotten so comfortable doing things for so long that you let your health go? In this podcast, you will discover ways to move your body even when you have piles of laundry that need to be folded. You’ll learn how to be set free from the snacks calling your name in the kitchen at 11 PM. My mission is to equip you to have more energy and be healthy and confident in your body in your 40s. And the best part is you don’t have to do it the world’s way. If you’re ready to say yes to being healthy, energetic, and confident in your body, then you’re in the right place. Hey sister, I’m Jaclyn Castro. A wife, mom of 2, and a follower of Jesus. For many years, I had the body of my dreams and chose to do all the things for all the wrong reasons. I let a number on the scale define who I was and it stole my true identity as a daughter of the King. I finally realized that if I was going to be used by God, serve my family with meaning, and give glory to Him then I needed to do things His way instead of what I was taught by the world and fitness influencers. So I created a plan that fit me using simple strategies so I could actually stick to it.! And I am ready to share them with you. If you are ready for a simple plan to move your body for more energy and be healthy and confident in your 40s then this is the podcast for you! Grab your bible and notebook, sign out of Instagram, and let’s dive in!

This is a podcast designed to expand what we know to be possible and remind us all that how we talk to ourselves MATTERS.
What does that have to do with stories? what do I mean by storytelling? The way I see it, we have 2 buckets:
1. Our thoughts: what are the stories playing in my head? How do I talk to myself? What is the dialogue of my "internal" environment?
2. Our community: what stories have I been told about myself? About the world? How has my external environment influenced by belief system?
Because the subconscious mind is the home of our belief system. And believe it or not, there is no "off" button: so the stories around us and within us are feeding that inner belief system.
Which then begs the question: do these stories help me get to where I want to go?
…and if not, how can I begin to shift THAT story?
In this podcast, we explore how to use language and stories to engage with the subconscious mind so that you can nourish your belief system for your highest and greatest good.
…because here’s the thing: if you don’t know that something is possible, then it doesn’t EXIST for you. And if that awareness is absent, we end up repeating old patterns and loops over and over again. So the conclusion that I AM DRAWING is: women need to know that possibilities exist.
We need to hear more stories FOCUSED ON WOMEN and FROM WOMEN
…about taking risks, making bold choices, & pursuing dreams…
…and the mindset work it took to get there!
My vision is that this podcast gives women the permission to dream bigger and take leaps of faith… because the truth is: you create your reality through storytelling.
So as you tune in to this SEASON of SFTS, I invite you to be more and more MINDFUL of the stories you tell yourself…bc you JUST MIGHT start to believe them.
To begin, click follow or subscribe wherever you’re listening (or better yet, join the community out on PATREON.com/beliefsystem )...
Now, go ahead and get comfortable, plug in those headphones and join me as we explore stories from the subconscious….

Hey Mama, do you constantly feel stressed and overwhelmed?
Do you lash out at your husband and children as a result of feeling burned out and having no more patience?
Are you ready to cave under the pressure to get everything done?
Do you desperately wish you could stop feeling behind, inadequate, and just not enough?
Do you desire to connect with God and feel closer to him, but feel like there are just not enough hours in the day?
You are not alone, sister! I am so excited you are here! This podcast will help you manage stress naturally, so you can feel more confident and content despite the stressors of motherhood, feel at peace, and feel connected to God in the middle of the chaos of motherhood.
Hey, I’m Christen. A mom, wife, Jesus lover, and user of essential oils. I did not understand what anxiety was until I became a mother, and how the stress of juggling it all could weigh me down. So, I sought out other ways to manage the stress - working out, eating better, drinking all the coffee and even sought self-care through social media and binge-watching Netflix after the kids were in bed. But it wasn’t sustainable, and the calm of the moment would cease to exist when I re-entered the overwhelming reality of motherhood again.
I found myself physically, mentally, and emotionally drained-wishing I could be anywhere but home, while also feeling guilty for wanting a break from the constant tug of mother and wife responsibilities. The frustrations of constantly being needed and never being able to complete a task at home without a thousand interruptions began to pour into a tall glass of passive-aggressiveness toward my husband when he got home from work.
But God, He is faithful, and He is good.
He used my love for His word and essential oils to show me and teach me how to create habits to slow down in the moments of chaos, find peace in the midst of overwhelm and stress, and how to have more energy, better sleep and manage stress so that I can be FAITHFUL IN WHATEVER task He puts before me.
Now, I have confidence in knowing that through the renewing of my mind, and the empowering of my body through natural wellness, I can manage stress in a way that glorifies God. Despite the never-ending list of to do’s or what feels like the thankless tasks of motherhood, I am content with my identity in Christ. And as the Lord fills my cup, I can overflow with love, joy , peace , patience , kindness, goodness and faithfulness to my children and to my husband, REGARDLESS OF MY CIRCUMSTANCES AND DESPITE MY FEELINGS.
IF YOU ARE READY to finally find an easy way to manage stress using scripture and essential oils so you can…
>Feel connected to God;
>Be confident;
>Be content of who you are in Christ;
>Find true peace; and
>Know how to use essential oils for more energy, better rest and manage stress- this podcast is for you!
So grab whatever you can find to write on, Mama, and let’s get started!
