  • The Atlas Vampire was an unknown assailant who committed the unsolved "Vampire Murder" in Stockholm, Sweden. But the thing about vampires is that even though vampires are known as fictional, there has been a long history of humans in modern-day vampire cults who drink blood. Apparently it’s a clinical disorder though - it’s called Renfield’s syndrome, the obsession with drinking blood.

On May 4, 1932 31-year-old Lilly Lindeström was found in her flat in the Atlas area of Stockholm, and unfortunately her murder remains unsolved… the police initially thought it was a clear case of a prostitute murdered by a client, but they noticed a lot of saliva on Lilly’s neck and that she seemed to be exsanguinated even though there was very little blood at the scene and no noticeable puncture wounds to the body…

  • “At last Tom shrieked out, 'What -- old Tom dead! then I'm the King o' the Cats!' and rushed up the chimney and was nevermore seen.”

Passed down through many variations, the one thing in common about this fold tale is that maybe cats aren’t all they appear to be. Who knows, maybe that black and white one you’ve got curled up on the couch is actually the King of the Cats...

  • Rudy Bladel was born on December 8th, 1932 in Chicago to a railroad family. After he spent time studying at the Vocational High School in the South Side, he graduated in 1951, went to work at Rock Island as a fireman, and then enlisted in the army as a military engineer to serve in the Korean War. When he got back, he ended up back at the railroad company, but when they shifted its operations away from Michigan to a new yard in Indiana, and he was demoted, he decided to take revenge…

  • This is one of the most believable paranormal stories, in my opinion, and it all starts in the early 2000s when Julielle Kahn and her family moved into one of the renovated Victorian homes in Newton Massachusetts. Julielle, who was around 5 years old started telling stories of meeting a new friend. She said “She was an older woman with gray hair. She always kept it in a tight bun on the top of her head. She wore a long dress and always wore stockings. There would be either blue or a white sort of orb-light thing floating around, and a face would appear in it, and then eventually the whole body would appear, but her feet were never on the floor. She was always floating.” Spooky…

  • This story takes place at the Green Vault in Dresden, Germany. This museum was founded in 1723 by Agustus the Strong of Poland. In 2019, the museum had around 4000 items of jewelry and other gold/silver/ivory/pearl/precious metals and stones based items. Near the end of the year, on November 25th, there was a small fire on Augustus bridge (which was near the museum) at around 4am. This was the start of one of the largest museum heist in history…

  • Sloss furnaces is a National Historic Landmark located in Birmingham, Alabama that was open in the late 1800s to 1971. While it was operational it was a pig iron-producing blast furnace. In the early 1900s, James “Slag” Wormwood, was foreman of the “Graveyard Shift” and they had a skeleton crew of nearly 150 workers to keep the furnace going. Wormwood wanted to impress the bosses though, so he would make his workers take dangerous risks, forcing them to speed up production… In October of 1906, he was at the top of Big Alice, which was the highest blast furnace. He lost his footing and fell into a pool of melted iron ore. It is said that his body instantly melted. People say that he must have gotten dizzy from the methane gas but he had apparently never been to the top of the furnace in all his years working there. Ever since then there have been hundreds of reported paranormal experiences in the area…

  • I think one of the most well known museums in Boston is the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. The museum itself was built with the guidance of Isabella Stewart Gardner, the art collector, because she wanted a place for her personal art collection. The museum opened to the public in 1903, and Gardner continued to expand the collection and arrange it until she died in 1924. She left the museum with a $3.6 million endowment when she passed away and her will basically said that the arrangement of the artwork should not be altered and no items were to be sold or bought into the collection. If you go to the museum today, you’ll see the empty frames of where the stolen paintings used to hang. Join us today for the story behind one of the most notorious heists in Boston history…

  • Love Has Won was started by Amy Carlson in the 2000s as a new religious movement. Love Has Won combines New Age spirituality with conspiracy theories (like QAnon) and other elements from the Abrahamic religion. She, and her followers, said she was a divine, 19 billion year-old being who had birthed all creation - who had been reincarnated 534 times, including as Jesus, Joan of Arc, Marilyn Monroe and Cleopatra, and would lead 144,000 people into a mystical "5th dimension.” She was also meant to be the queen of the lost continent of Lemuria, which was a place that was inside Mount Shasta in California. Also apparently Donald Trump was her father in a past life and she and Robin Williams spirit would chat sometimes as the Archangel Zadkiel. There are also mentions of Atlantis, the Anunnaki which were deities of the Sumerians and Assyrians and I think a couple other groups, and also reptilians which are reptilian humanoids or shapeshifting reptilian aliens who control the Earth by taking on human form and then using political power to manipulate society. They also believed that the world was run by a group of people determined to keep us in a low vibration state and that it is this groups responsibility to bring us into a higher vibration… If you want to learn more about this cult and its following, be sure to join us this week!

  • The pony express was open for 18 months, from April of 1860 through October 1861. And it covered approximately 2000 miles from St Joseph Missouri to Sacramento California. The riders on the Pony Express were said to have carried 35,000 pieces of mail over more than 650,000 miles back and forth during the 18 months. But this was an incredibly dangerous job, so much that the advert for the pony express said:

“Wanted. Young, skinny, wiry fellows not over 18. Must be expert riders, willing to risk death daily. Orphans preferred.”

When the pony express ended, some people say there are a bunch of riders that have chosen to remain at the station even though it was closed in the 1860s. Join us today to learn more about the ghosts of the pony express!
