Its hard to beiieve that at the time of this podcast broadcast, there is just a couple more weeks until Christmas day. Because this special established day celebrates the greatest event in human history, and opened the door to eternal salvation for those who will receive, it NEVER gets old to reflect on this timeless story in a fresh new way! Its hard to believe its been FORTY YEARS since the iconic song "Do They Know Its Christmas" was released. It motivated me to reflect on that question, and what is the real answer that the world needs to hear. That is how I landed on the miniseries, "Christmas Says..." The God of the universe is still heralding the Christmas message through people like you and me! There is still a humanitarian crisis in the world. It has spread across the continents. The killing is incessant because THEY DON"T KNOW ITS CHRISTMAS. We must leave our comfort zones, and take the message of Christmas to a lost world in 2025. God can bring a year of JUBILEE if we will pray and speak the good news of the Savior of Christmas on an ever increasing basis, with great LOVE snd BOLDNESS! May 2025 be a year of great revival for the CHURCH and EVANGELISM and SALVATION for the lost.

We have been drinking from the firehose of outlandish overt manifestations of evil in ways unseen and unheard of in the history of our great nation. It appears that there is coming a reprieve from the outrageous onslaught of everything foul and offensive to the Christian world view. But, make no mistake, Satan does not rest nor grow weary from all we can tell in Scripture. Mankind seems bent on destruction total and complete. But, we can SUPER REJOICE this Christmas season, because our Lord and Victorious Savior is not a passive observer, but the mighty enemy of evil! With full determination He works to destroy all that seeks to harm, deceive and corrupt. This is the story of Christmas! Is it any wonder that the WORLD hates Jesus so much? His birth in that animal manger RUINED evil's party that began that day Adam fell into sin...thanks be to God for the gift of Jesus!

NEW SUB-SERIES! We (my wife Susan and I) were honored to have Jeromy Deibler visit with us in our 7 Pines Studio. Jeromy is the founder , lead singer, songwriter, producer, of the Christian band FFH (Far from Home). His band has sold millions of albums, including hit songs "One Of These Days", "You Found Me", "Open Up The Sky", "Fly Away", "Lord Move, Or Move Me", & "Undone". The entire back story will be featured in a separate video for those who care to know. It's a really cool testimony about how God orchestrates our lives to bring about His purpose on this planet. But, this video is all about Jeromy Deibler. His willingness to come to our place to talk opened the door to this new concept, "Stories from the Green Chair", that is a derivative of "Other Things with..." If you look closely at the video thumbnail on the YouTube show, or the opening show icon screen you will see the MidCentury Modern Green Chair that sits in the corner of our studio, where this sub-series gets its name. We look forward to hosting other guests in our home studio for conversations that encourage and inspire! So, the YouTube Channel is @otherthingswith... which is a video of a Google Meet session with our guest, and the "Stories from the Green Chair" is an in-person conversation. At the time of recording I had just found out about Jeromy's book "Liver and Onions, A Memoir," so I did not have time to get the book and read up on his detailed story found there. Jeromy is open to have a follow up conversation to talk about the book in detail. Also, we are planning another show to talk about his work in Soul Care. As you will see, Jeromy has a lot going on and is a fascinating person to talk to,. My hope is that you will be encouraged in your daily life and inspired to live an amazing life for Christ!

This episode is #470, not #468. I recorded another episode before I was able to pull this one off my iPhone. We NEED to spend more time outside in God's creation. There are days when I am going full bore on the podcast work that I don't even get to step outside...this should not BE! As I drive through the premium neighborhood that is between our house and the stores where we shop, almost NO ONE is ever outside. Million dollar plus houses, and most don't even have a BBQ grill in their backyard. We are so overwhelmed with such a rapid pace of life we are wounding ourselves by our reclusiveness due to the compression of this modern life we live. We must get OUTSIDE and listen to God!

True prayer is an inventory of wants, a catalog of necessities, and a revelation of HIDDEN POVERTY.
