In this episode of I forgot to ask the doctor, Dr Gail Busby interviews stroke expert Dr David Hargroves. We discuss how blood pressure, pulse, lipids and stress can affect stroke risk. This conversation with a stroke specialist is illuminating about stroke diagnosis, stroke symptoms and stroke treatment, including physiotherapy and contact with a stroke nurse. Referral to a hyperacute stroke unit is recommended for those with symptoms without delay.
