This week, Shawn and Colin welcome back guest Michael Ross, to discuss the comedy spoof classic 'Spaceballs'. One of us has never seen it, a quite frankly, has only seen one Mel Brooks movie before this. So what happens when 2 people who were raised on this movie collide with someone seeing it with fresh eyes? Tune in to find out!

As our Sci-Fi Summer continues, Shawn and Colin welcome back guest Chris Goffredo to discuss the 90s classic that changed movie technology; 'The Matrix'. We were blown away by the simplicity of the original, considering everything that has come since in this franchise. We discuss the stars, the architecture, the ideas presented... everything Matrix. Really, unless you've been living under a rock, you know this flick. What did we think of it? Was it better than we remember? Tune in to find out!

Shawn and Colin are wrapping up Classic Action Heroes month by bringing back guest Luke Bartosik, a man who seemed destined for this episode his entire life, when we watch the classic 'Under Siege'. This movie was everything to our guest and we try to dig into why. We discuss all the important topics such as the man Steven Seagal, all things villainous from expected and unexpected places, the lady in the cake, the fact that "Die Hard on a boat" is such a dismissive description of this movie, having real life people in your story and so much more. If anything, you need to tune in to this episodes and listen to Luke's anecdotes, because he has a few great ones. What did we think? Tune in to find out!

The word Classic is used a little loosely this week with our Classic Action Heroes month, as Shawn and Colin take a look at the 2000s for the car heistin' 'Gone In 60 Seconds'. With all the Cage and Bruckheimer we can handle, we discuss this star studded cast, character quirks, great villains, pretty cars, fast driving, and impossible jumps. This movie is brain candy and we were there for every minute of it. But did we still love it? Tune in to find out!

Our Classic Action Heroes month continues. This week, Shawn and Colin welcome back guest Frank Driscoll to discuss the Van Damme classic 'Timecop'. Anytime you deal with anything time travel related, we're gonna have questions. And boy oh boy do we. We of course discuss the splits and kicks of our lead, not to mention that glorious mullet of his. But the most important part is that 2 out of 3 of the Podcasters involved had never seen this movie before. What did we think? Tune in to find out!

To kick off our new Classic Action Heroes month, Shawn and Colin decide to take a look at possibly the worst example of Dolph Lundgren's career, the classic 80s disappointment 'Masters Of The Universe'. Honestly, we grabbed hold of this one because we were both hoping maybe we remembered it wrong. We thought that maybe 30 years of hindsight might make this some hidden, untapped gem. We were hoping to find Oscar-worthy performances that may have been overlooked at the time. I mean, Colin's mom LOVES this movie, there's gotta be something good in here, right? What did we actually find? Tune in to find out!

It's time for Shawn and Colin to ride off into the sunset on Western Month with our last cowboy flick, the sentimental comedic classic 'City Slickers'. We discuss all the important topics like cow births, dead old guys and, for some reason, way more math than usual. We talk about surprisingly powerful moments, surprisingly short animals, and surprisingly spry middle-aged men. And of course, we had to chat about the one thing. What did we think of it? We discuss the in your face racism of one particular scene, the ease of Woody slipping into a cowboy role, Colin's rodeo days, horse cops that turn outlaw, convoluted bad guy plots, Ross from Friends, light beastiality and so very much more. It's Western Month! Colin is back and we're hitting the trails to watch John Candy's OTHER Posthumously Released movie, the western comedy 'Wagons East!'. We knock another movie off the list for Colin who continues his quest to infuse more John Candy into his life. And another chance to see more of the other John... John C. McGinley who may be the biggest redeeming quality of this film. I'll be honest with you... a LOT of comparisons to Almost Heroes in this one, so if you haven't listened to that episode (159), it would make a great companion piece. What did we have to say about it? Tune in to find out!

That's what we find out this week when Shawn and his son Kris, take a look at our final Daddy Issues movie, the 1990 family classic 'Ghost Dad'. This week for Daddy Issues month, Shawn and his son Kris take a look at a father willing to commit fraud in order to keep his kid, in the 90s classic 'Big Daddy'. We haven't done a whole lot of Adam Sandler flicks up to this point so we felt it was time to watch a sentimental one. A vaguely racist Schneider character, and inexplicably hot love interest and a whole lotta product placements, this is the Sandman at his Sandler-est. What did we think of it? Tune in to find out!

Daddy Issues Month continues and Kris Wells is back to co-host with Shawn when we explore the difficulty of having a megalomaniacal father with the classic 'Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me'. This is one of Kris's all-time favorite franchises, so we take a look at why and whether it should be. We get off on tangents, gush over certain characters, explore international censorship, the physics of time and space and OF COURSE, because it's Austin Powers, we will be discussing poop. What did we think of it? Tune in to find out!

In an attempt at some father/son bonding, Shawn has given both his usual co-hosts a month off. In their place, Shawn's son, and past guest Kris Wells, steps into the role as we dive into some movie featuring Daddy Issues. And what better to scar a child than witnessing your parents murdered in front of you like our heroes in this week's film 'Batman Forever'. This is a long one. In fact, our longest to date. Clearly, I haven't spoken enough to my son since he moved out because we get off on some wild tangents. But it's a lot of fun. What did we think, especially after praising 'Batman & Robin' so highly in a previous episode? Can this be viewed with the same lens? Tune in to find out!

It's time for our Strange Imports Month vacation to come to an end. Shawn and Aaron have one final stop in France, where it's about to get really weird with 'The City Of Lost Children'. I'll be honest... There's a good chance you've never heard of or seen this movie. It's very niche. Not only is it foreign, but it's also just a very surreal, bizarre film. Much like 'Zebraman' in episode 172, this is another one where "If you know you know". But if you know and like weird films like 'Brazil' or 'Dark City' (spoiler alert of our episode) we would both recommend this. It's worth it. Try something new tonight. Go watch Ron Pearlman speak French. Whoa... weren't seeing that twist coming, were you? Go watch this film, then come listen to us blab.
