Today we’re diving into something that’s been a game-changer for both of us—setting boundaries as a form of self-care.
First up, let’s talk about social media. We’ve all been there—getting sucked into the endless scroll or making some sketchy hires (yes, we’re talking about the time we hired someone with a mugshot). We’ve learned the hard way and are now all about setting limits, like taking breaks and being super intentional about what we post. Trust us, your sanity will thank you!
Now, onto health. We’re both gluten-free and mostly dairy-free, and let me tell you, it’s made a world of difference. We’re big on treating our bodies like the racehorses they are—think acupuncture, Pilates, and all the good stuff. Because at the end of the day, what’s the point of building wealth if you don’t feel good enough to enjoy it?
We’d love to hear what boundaries you’re setting in your life. Share your tips with us in the comments, and don’t forget to subscribe to stay on this journey with us—where wealth meets wellness. ___________________________________________________________________________

Caitlin and I are back with another episode of Invested & Rested. Today, I’m sharing why I decided to pivot from short-term rentals back to long-term ones, and it’s been quite a journey!
When I found these two duplexes sharing a driveway, I thought, "What a deal!" We jumped into Airbnb with all the excitement—doubling our cash flow sounded amazing. But reality check: it was a ton of work! Caitlin and I often laugh about the chaos, like that one time I had to break up a prom party at 10 PM in my pajamas. Not exactly my idea of fun!
The market's shifting, and honestly, we’re getting tired of the Airbnb hustle. So, we’re moving back to long-term rentals to regain some sanity and balance in our lives. Sometimes it’s more important to have peace of mind than extra cash.
Caitlin and I always emphasize the importance of checking in with your intuition. If something doesn’t feel right anymore, it’s okay to change direction. Your investments should align with your lifestyle and goals. Thanks for listening! If you’re considering a change in your investment strategy, let us know in the comments or send us a message. And as always, please leave us a five-star review and subscribe for more episodes. Stay rested, friends, and we’ll see you next time!

Hi friends! We're back with another episode, and today we're talking all about how Rianna got started in real estate.
Rianna here! I had no idea what I was doing when I first started—no mentor, no help, and no clue about all the resources out there. Growing up in a small town in Minnesota, I moved to the Minneapolis suburbs after college. I quickly realized I didn’t want a typical job. Despite selling Cutco knives and dabbling in MLMs, real estate always lingered in the back of my mind. My first real step was buying a house with roommates to help pay the mortgage. It was my way of testing the waters, and it went well.
Soon after, I bought another house on the same block, got my real estate license, and stopped working in property management for others to focus on my own investments. Fast forward, my boyfriend and I now have 12 properties, including a commercial office project we bought using equity from other properties. We also have a cabin up north that’s our little escape from the world. Surrounded by trees and complete with a sauna, it’s the perfect getaway. We even bought the lot next door and are thinking about developing it into a glamping site or another cabin.
One big lesson I've learned is the importance of having mentors and not procrastinating. Asking for help has made everything easier. I was introduced to Bigger Pockets years ago but didn't get it until I started listening to their podcast. Now, I never say no to opportunities.
Thanks for joining us! We’re excited to keep sharing our journey and helping you along yours. If you have any questions or comments, leave them on our YouTube or send us a DM on Instagram @investedandrested. We're here to help! See you next time!
