A central theme of Passover is freedom. What does it mean to truly be free? In a sense, one could say that we left our servitude to Pharoh to serve G-d...where's the freedom in that? Understanding what freedom really is, is essential to living a truly free life. Otherwise, so many fall into many different forms of servitude in the name of freedom. So, how does one achieve true freedom. The answer is a fundamental message we can learn from the Passover holiday.
Listen to Soul Talk with Rabbi David Aaron and Leora Mandel to learn how Passover Sets Us Free.

Former State Department employee and Secretary General of the Jordanian Opposition Coalition, Dr. Mudar Zahran, accuses Jordan's King Abdullah of "apartheid" against its (Arab) Palestinians who comprise 78% of British Mandated Palestine. Dr. Zahran cited Jordanian law which confirms that all refugees from Gaza are indeed Jordanian citizens, yet they are deprived of many jobs and government positions. In Jordan, according to Dr. Zahran, Palestinians are given a special stamp in their passports to distinguish them as NOT being Jordanian, further evidence, according to Zahran, that Jordan is an apartheid state. Zahran said that antisemitism in the West Bank/Judea and Samaria is at record levels, and that if given the opportunity, they would commit greater atrocities against the Jews than Hamas did on October 7. He went on to say that following October 7, "sadly, I've never seen my people happier... in the West Bank." He believes it would take 20-30 years to undo all the damage and indoctrination infecting these people. While trying to draw a distinction between the Arabs in Gaza versus the Arabs under the PA, he said that many Gazans voted for Hamas, not only because they believed Hamas would "get rid of the Jews," but that they would end the corruption of the PA. What they got in the end was Israel standing stronger than ever, and living under a Hamas that was more corrupt than the PA. During the interview, Zahran was emphatic, that barring another "pandemic," President Trump would be the President to end that Arab/Israeli conflict.

We are told to Love G-d. We are told to Fear G-d. These are two very different kinds of emotions and seem to be polar opposites. In human relationships, it would seem to be hard to love the one I fear or fear the one I love. With the proper perspective of what it truly means to love and fear G-d, you will learn that far from being opposites, each relies on the other and is the key that unlocks the most fulfilling relationship with G-d.

New York (VINnews)— Alan Skorski sat down with Jeff Lax, a professor at CUNY Law and board member, to discuss allegations of antisemitism within the City University of New York (CUNY) system. Lax, who is also the founder of SAFE Campus, has been vocal in exposing what he describes as deep-rooted antisemitism at the university’s highest levels, including the controversial hiring of Saly Abd Alla, a member of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), to oversee antisemitism allegations.
The interview escalated when Skorski questioned Lax about his recent appearance on Peter Beinart’s social platform to debate antisemitism on college campuses. Beinart, a well-known critic of Israel, has often spoken to Jewish student groups across the U.S., drawing criticism from pro-Israel advocates. During their discussion, Beinart questioned why Lax had protested a Hunter College job posting seeking instructors to teach about Israel as a “settler-colonial state,” engaging in “apartheid” and “genocide.”
Lax discredited Hunter College’s stance and challenged Beinart on these allegations, forcing a tense exchange. The debate reached a pivotal moment when Lax pressed Beinart to label Hamas as a terrorist organization, which Beinart refused to do, claiming such a designation was racist and unfairly applied to Palestinians. Lax pointed out the inaccuracy of this claim, ultimately boxing Beinart into a rhetorical corner.

Natalie has a frank discussion with Tuvia Tenenbom, best-selling author of "Catch the Jew," and more. Tuvia speaks of his travels and conversations with Jews in America, Europe and Israel, giving us a peek at what he has witnessed. Fear. Denial. There was rampant anti-semitism long before the Hamas attacks on Oct. 7th in Israel. The anti-semitism we see today in the West has always existed, but it was quiet. Now it is out in the open with U.S. college protests, street violence in Europe. But Jews living in these places, surrounded by Islamic neighborhoods preaching hate and extreme anti-semitic graffiti on every city street, pretend it's not there. Tuvia details how they lie about it and deny it, and only off-the-record tell him the truth. To send in comments write to [email protected]

My abridged version: Harvard graduate and Jewish student leader, Shabbos Kestenbaum, discussed today's war against campus antisemitism at America's leading universities, citing Columbia and Harvard as being ground zero for Palestinianist-inspired antisemitism.
The battle goes beyond Hamas students threatening and harassing Jewish students as the faculties themselves are filled with antisemitic professors and instructors.
Now, with the Trump Administration taking tough measures against these institutions, including withholding hundreds of millions of dollars, as they recently did to Columbia, and the arresting for deportation of Mahmoud Khalil, a Hamas "student" agitator from Columbia, Kestenbaum believes that the universities will only take token measures to try to slip by Trump's new policy. Even now, by willing to adopt the IHRA definition of antisemitism, there will still be wiggle room for these universities to get around expelling students who violate the civil rights of Jewish students.
Shabbos discussed his own suit against Harvard, choosing to pursue legal action in court rather than settle out of court as some of his peers did.
During the interview we talked about the challenges that Jewish students face as they are vastly outnumbered and out-funded by the pro-Hamas student and faculty activists.
